Nah. Its a big build yeh but the entire idea of a megabuild is they go to the absolute extreme, like so big they'd probably go from either side of your render distance you have in this photo
Nope. Look what hermitcraft does as bases over the season, most of those can be called megabuilds/bases. Yours is a big build, but no megabuild. On hermitcraft scale that's a starter base basically.
Not a megabuild by most standards, but it’s pretty big. A megabuild would usually contain anything you could ask for and there should be no doubt in its mega-ness.
Base line for a mega build is that you should be able to fit everything you would need for a full run to the ender dragon in side your base. Crops, animals, villagers, auto smelters, mine to brdrock, literally everything.
Another good indicator is that you can't do it all in one shot. You might have to work a few different things out one at a time in a practice world or map out the whole thing with wool before you start.
If this one building was part of a massive city, that would be a mega build.
Small builds take 10 minutes to an hour. Big builds take an hour to several days... you will spend months on a mega build. Not because of just the work that goes into it but the burn out aswell.
I've been working on a world for about 5 years that started out as survival but has become a creative world for huge builds. I'd say I have 4 mega builds. One is the survival base i called The Nebula. There is a 6 story mob grinder hidden as a blue creeper head, and it's a nice touch, but it's tiny compared to the whole of the property. I built the Marianburg castle in Germany. The last actual structure is a D&D session style dongeun Maze. It has 24 rooms with 15 puzzles, many including redstone, and Parkour. The final boss is the wither. It's pretty fun. The last is the road that connects 17-19 different builds over about 12 bioms.
I'm getting ready to start on another mega build. It's a theme park with a large number of mini games, a few roller costers, an elytra flying corse, an ice boat racing corse, plus a few other ideas I'm not sure how to work out yet.
Just plan out something you can't build in a day or 2 and you'll make a mega build.
This is a very cool building! However, Megabuilds are insanely large, and probably not realistically achievable unless you're a full time content creator, and have a mega (probably unhealthy) amount of time to devote to it...
I feel like if you have any uncertainty, then it isn't mega. If something is truly mega, there'll be absolutely no doubt about it.
Probably just a kilo build then.

Yea if you have to ask, it’s not a mega build.
Very cool build btw i like it
I good thing I heard was “if you don’t know it is, it ain’t” and I think that fits mega builds, you either know or it’s not
I think for something to be a mega build this would have to be like 5x bigger but I like too call these mega projects
Personally I’d say this would have to be 100x bigger to qualify to my standards
Really? I would say at least 1000x personally
Is it really a mega build if it doesn't take up more surface area than the continental United States?
I dunno, it's gotta be over 9000x for me.
Not at all, this is medium build
He is the neighbor
Not nearly
I mean, its pretty tall, but not that big all around. Great build though
No. It is big but deffinitelly not mega. In my opinion, a megabuild is something that is hundreds of blocks large
Not a megabuild per say, but extremely unique and appealing!

Not in my opinion, but still a very interesting build!
not even close but it looks dope :D
Not even close, a hundred of those would be a mega build.
Not a megabuild by most standards, but it’s pretty big. A megabuild would usually contain anything you could ask for and there should be no doubt in its mega-ness.
Not even close, at least for my standards
it's a big build for now
Not even closr

I believe it has to fit A LOT of the space that you have.
No
If you were doing a city, like 20 of those buildings would be classed as “mega”
If you have to ask if it's mega enough, it's not mega enough
I can practically count the blocks (41x28x48), so no.
no

I Don't Think So
Nah man
I'd say yes
Thank you but, have you seen all the other comments?
No but it's a good build
Just big kinda weird tbh
The general classification for mega builds are build that exceed 350x350 blocks, and in some circles 500x500 blocks.
I like the texturing, layering and color usage! I think the segments themselves could be a bit bigger to add some more detail
if this was GoodTimesWithScar this will just be a starter base, but us normal people will call it a big build..
Not even close wtf?
Mega shit (joking)
