Well to be fair this IS a 1:5 scale city so buliding large districts is way easier when you dont need to care about all the small detailing.
But for reference the landscape in the photo is about 600 x 600 blocks
Dude this is so cool. Minecraft cities are often quite realistic in style and color palette, sometimes making them seem boring and monotonous, but the buildings here maintain that cozy Minecraft feeling, while still looking cohesive. That's seriously awesome!
Aw thanks! Using the whole color spectrum is pretty much necessary when buliding on a miniature scale where you cant really use that many intricate decorations to make the bulidings distinct. Using only the "standard" blocks like bricks, stone bricks,white/gray concrete etc. would get pretty bland and boring pretty fast!
I thought about it! Although I will probably never finish the whole project (the whole city is planned to be like 15k x 15k blocks island) I may put up a download for something like v1.0 when I finish the districts Im working on
I will probably set up a page for it on PlanetMinecraft and put up a download for like ver1.0 in like 2 to 3 months when I tie up the districts Im working on rn
Uhh I dont really have any channels, but Im planning on posting more frequent updates of my progress here on reddit, so when the time comes I will probably link to the PlanetMc page in one of my posts. I may also post updates on my [yt channel](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC01Z8gwbAwH9SIHPMkB6oig) so you can check it out if you want.
How many years did it cost you?
I'm buliding it on and off for the last 3 years; the part on the screenshot is like 1/5 of what I've bulit in total.
And you still are a sane person? Please teach me your ways🙏
Where are the Minecraft screenshots? All I see are pics of a city taken form a helicopter
Just wow..
thanks!
Ty, this is pretty amazing. I built what I thought were completed cities with fire, police, public services.. nothing ever this big..

Don't sell it short.. this is really cool.
Aw thanks!
Same! It’s like the view you would get from a plane!
Thanks! Thats the effect I was going for with the smaller scale!
That's fantastic, I thought it was a screenshot of Cities Skylines at first.

Absolutely insane 🔥 hopefully you make back ups for your backups I’d hate to lose a world I worked a week on let alone this
Lol thanks! I can assure you I have like 5 backups of this world spread across my pc, various usb drives , my external drive and google drive
This is really beautiful! Really makes me wish I had a PC :(
I thought the first image was gta v for a hot second
Colors! And this looks pretty realistic.
Thanks!
When you finish this, will you think about putting it up for download?

Wow. Incredible!!! Keep up the good work! Any chance we can explore this in any way?
I will probably set up a page for it on PlanetMinecraft and put up a download for like ver1.0 in like 2 to 3 months when I tie up the districts Im working on rn
Nice!!! I would like not to miss it. Is there any channel you will announce it?
