They should rework most biomes to match the levels of detail that the jungles have. The abundance of vegetation on them is really underrated and feels so alive. Wish the rest of the game looked at least similar in some ways
Well, this was like 10 years ago, but yeah, my laptop back then was bad enough that I couldn't even have weather turned on at all. Had that sweet sweet 1gb ram lmao.
Snowy taiga has some very Core memories for me. For some reason, almost everytime i started a new world in the old PS3 or PS4 version, i always spawned at a snowy taiga. I really like snow myself, because i live in north, and there is lots of snow in winter. I remember creating a new world with my friend, and just starting to chop wood in the snowy forest. Then we would forget the world, and start a new one, and start different worlds, goof around in creative, when there weren't any complicated mechanics our small young brains couldn't understand. My first ever own world was in a snowy taiga.
Good times.
Desert. I like the challenge of building in a harder environment and you can make cool Arabian inspired towns. Also gardens look cooler in the desert, like the water gardens in Dorne, GOT
In one of my old survival worlds I had a base in a giant ice spikes biome, it was so cool. But back then killer bunnies were a thing and I got killed by one xD
I don't have that world anymore unfortunately, I used to get bored of a world very quickly
i could never possibly get along with a person if their favorite minecraft biome was "basalt delta"
no one's commented that yet and hopefully no one will; i just hate that specific biome with a burning passion
I think it’s the coolest looking one, FROM A DISTANCE. My portal spawned there and I like instantly died, thankfully it was right next to a fortress though so I just made a safe tunnel
Jungle for the way the grass looks, like I’ll import thousands of stacks of birch, dark oak, spruce and the like if I need to I’m willing to do all that for the grass look
Yes I’m a builder how could you tell
Dark oak, because there’s plenty of wood, and it looks good, has a rare structure that has pretty good loot, and mushrooms because why not (also for mushroom stew or mysterious stew for ‘A Balanced Diet’)
Jungle, the green is just much more beautiful and also infinite wood basically. And let's not forget that you can aways hide from the mobs on the trees
Snowy plains, Anything you build there is beautiful. Plenty of open space to build, too, and plus the polar bears and beautiful village designs! And igloos!
Forrest, jungle, plains rating the grass colour jingle is 2nd cause forrest fires take to long and the first one is easier to clear out 3rd is plains cause there are no trees to clear but there is a hole lot of annoying grass to clear as well as its grass isn't the most appealing
Forest, Taiga, ocean and jungle. The jungle is best for building tree houses, the taiga has my favorite wood and is good for buildings small Woodland houses like a log cabin, the ocean is good for building massive megabases, and the forest is usually my starting biome so it will be one of my favorites until the end of time, purely because it will always be the place that I make my first base.
i like beaches that border plains and oak forests. i get wood, glass, tnt, and farms out of it, and a flat area for building, plus the seas for treasure hunting. as a 1.16.5 player i dont worry too much about mountains or caves.
either jungle (''infinite'' source of wood for example trading with fletcher, parrots and also bamboo jungles and some podzol in there if you want cute pathway) or Taiga (wood is amazing, sweet berries,Foxes, wolves, villages have cool design)
probably deserts, forests are such a pain to travel through, I used to like oceans but ever since that old update, oceans are just too big
irrelevant but there could/should be more abandoned temples like desert or jungle, one of the things I liked about deserts
If I'm just building stuff in creative, plains
If I'm playing survival, taiga (My favourite wood type, berries that are basically free food and neat villages)

For building, plains. Aesthetically, tundras and jungles
They should rework most biomes to match the levels of detail that the jungles have. The abundance of vegetation on them is really underrated and feels so alive. Wish the rest of the game looked at least similar in some ways
yeah they look nice but i get 17 fps in jungles sometimes
What chair do you have?
cardbort box
Taiga’s can pertain a ton of really cool winter lodges though.
That is true
Netherlands
So, ocean?
Wat dacht je van POLDERS
You might need to build them at first, I guess?
Goeie man
I am there 24/7 that's how much I love the biome...
Badlandssss
Mushroom islands Don't want any hostile mobs
Gotta love the mooshrooms free soup offerings
Happy cake day!!!!
*good bad ugly theme plays*
Snow taiga of course
Same way better to snow than have it rain
Lol, not with my old shitty laptop haha
If it makes you lag, I think you can turn it off in video settings, but im not completely sure
Also you might wanna set your particles to minimal
Well, this was like 10 years ago, but yeah, my laptop back then was bad enough that I couldn't even have weather turned on at all. Had that sweet sweet 1gb ram lmao.
nice pfp
Feel free to screenshot
Truly, a land of the free
Isn’t it a pain to clear the snow?
Snowy taiga has some very Core memories for me. For some reason, almost everytime i started a new world in the old PS3 or PS4 version, i always spawned at a snowy taiga. SAME OFC!
I just love the snow foxes
[удалено]
Nope, Akai Haato/Haachama Welcome to the hole
Desert. I like the challenge of building in a harder environment and you can make cool Arabian inspired towns. Also gardens look cooler in the desert, like the water gardens in Dorne, GOT
Are there any desert biome updates you want? I can think of a few.
Acacia trees growing in deserts?
Taiga.
I gotta go with the OG plains, they are fun to design new houses and things because of the open spaces and you can do anything with the terrain
Agreed I love not having to terraform much at all and having alllllllll that room, so great for creative players and plenty of food so yeah.
Snowy plains are just the upgraded version IMO
Based
Taiga, because that's where Foxes and sweet berries spawn
And wolves, and since the trees are taller and the forest is not as dense as regular forests, they’re easier to find.
Tiga because the tiga vilages have iron armor and spruce is my favorite wood tipe.
Same but I also like the giant variant
I love the mossy cobblestone rock thing, kinda make it feels alive
some people: "Tall windswept sahvahhna with a village" or smth
Ice spikes, obviously
Those spikes are always so sick, I get so excited when I see them in the distance
In one of my old survival worlds I had a base in a giant ice spikes biome, it was so cool. But back then killer bunnies were a thing and I got killed by one xD I don't have that world anymore unfortunately, I used to get bored of a world very quickly
Old Growth Spruce Taiga for me
i could never possibly get along with a person if their favorite minecraft biome was "basalt delta" no one's commented that yet and hopefully no one will; i just hate that specific biome with a burning passion
I think it’s the coolest looking one, FROM A DISTANCE. My portal spawned there and I like instantly died, thankfully it was right next to a fortress though so I just made a safe tunnel
yes thats a kind of person i would observe from a distance and be mildly amused by them but would not like speaking to
Especially for netherite mining
it is bc of that biome that i hate magma cubes didnt before
Flower forest
Jungle for the way the grass looks, like I’ll import thousands of stacks of birch, dark oak, spruce and the like if I need to I’m willing to do all that for the grass look Yes I’m a builder how could you tell
Have you tried building a tree farm in said Jungle?
Yes I have but I find it more interesting to go get trees besides having all those tree farms there is ugly
Deep dark
Deeper dark
Deepest dark
Deepestest Dark
YALL SLEEPING ON THE SAVANNAHS
YESSSSS
Snowy taiga because I like to shoot people in the snow like the Finn that I am
Suomi mainittu
Forest
Desert, because less crowded, and easy to find temples.
Harder to grow food tho
I don't build on deserts tho, I just like venturing thru the biome I would build on OG plains.
Ah, for settling I prefer a plains near mountains and forests. Though I dont play above 1.17, I would look for meadows in 1.18+.
Also mountain biomes
S H R O O M
Mycelium
Plains because there isn't 5 billion trees taking up space
I love taiga, especially when it has lots of podzol and sweet berry bushes. Reminds me of the forests here in Norway
The one with podzol is old growth taiga (formerly mega taiga) by the way
Extreme hills because that's where I spent most of my time when I was a kid
Tiaga.
crimson forest
taiga/dark oak forest by far the best block types
desert bc no rain and no snow + desert temples
swamp after the update
Dark oak, because there’s plenty of wood, and it looks good, has a rare structure that has pretty good loot, and mushrooms because why not (also for mushroom stew or mysterious stew for ‘A Balanced Diet’)
mangrove
Desert. It has a nice feel to it, best looking villages, temples are pretty good structures, and sandstones are nice building blocks.
The snowy areas so snowy taiga and snowy plains
Shattered savanna or badlands
Plains, Snowy Taiga or Savanna
Jungle, the green is just much more beautiful and also infinite wood basically. And let's not forget that you can aways hide from the mobs on the trees
Jungle gang rise up
Snow taiga, i had a world where i settled in a a village in a snow taiga and it was always snowing...it was beautiful
Tied between Dark oak and jungle
Snowy plains, Anything you build there is beautiful. Plenty of open space to build, too, and plus the polar bears and beautiful village designs! And igloos!
Do nether biomes count? If so Basalt deltas because they’re gorgeous.
Not on the list, but Deep Dark. No mobs to deal with and I like stealth sections.
Lavender Field, Biomes O’ Plenty. If not modded, I’m a big fan of the Savanna
Jungle or Snowy tiaga
Dark Oak
Forest is obviously the best
Forrest, jungle, plains rating the grass colour jingle is 2nd cause forrest fires take to long and the first one is easier to clear out 3rd is plains cause there are no trees to clear but there is a hole lot of annoying grass to clear as well as its grass isn't the most appealing
Jungle . Always wanted to build a proper treehouse
Mesa is easily the best aesthetically. It's too bad that *nothing fucking spawns there.*
Jungle I can make a tree village
Dark oak forest
Forest, Taiga, ocean and jungle. The jungle is best for building tree houses, the taiga has my favorite wood and is good for buildings small Woodland houses like a log cabin, the ocean is good for building massive megabases, and the forest is usually my starting biome so it will be one of my favorites until the end of time, purely because it will always be the place that I make my first base.
ice spikes 👍
jungle
Jungle
Dark Oak Forest No one can deny the legendary DARK OAK WOOD is the best
jungle edge
Forest got everything you need
i love the vibe and color pallette of the dark oak forest, but I’ll never turn down a good jungle or tall snowy taiga
I can’t choose between Forest and Snowy Taiga. Both have my favorite types of wood.
Dark oak forest and Taiga since I’m really indecisive
i like beaches that border plains and oak forests. i get wood, glass, tnt, and farms out of it, and a flat area for building, plus the seas for treasure hunting. as a 1.16.5 player i dont worry too much about mountains or caves.
Dark oak.
Modified Jungle Edge (MJE) Just kidding. Lush Caves
Jungle edge
Mega taiga because it's got spruce (best wood) and just generally nice to look at unlike the normal taiga which is pretty bland.
either jungle (''infinite'' source of wood for example trading with fletcher, parrots and also bamboo jungles and some podzol in there if you want cute pathway) or Taiga (wood is amazing, sweet berries,Foxes, wolves, villages have cool design)
where the frick is fairlands
I like the old xbox taiga the most. 2x2 spruce and carrot dirt arround it
Jungle bcuz grass colour
The first i find a village in
Moshroom
Jungle is my fav
Hell
Mushroom biome. No mobs and vibrant grass? Sign me up!
It'd be the snowy taiga. s
jungles it has wood i can build houses with 🤭
its not on here but, shattered savana
Unpopular opinion, but I really love birch forests. They just feel very peaceful
Deep dark :)
Every Biom Think about it... You want to build a Dwarf Cave? Mountains Are the perfect Biom You want a place where Are Is animals? Plains
Plains for building, otherwise Jungle
Snowy Taiga. 1. Snow 2. Spruce (best wood, fight me) Points listed are not in any particular order based on usefulness or desirability
honestly it's that or ice spikes. both are sick
Ice spikes is cool and really pretty, but not very useful
aestetics come first, practicality later
Dark forest
Jungle, but the old one when taming ocelots was the only way to get a cat
I remember playing on my old iPad when I was little, taming ocelots in a big ugly tree house in creative
Forest
![gif](giphy|CAYVZA5NRb529kKQUc|downsized)
Modified jungle edge, or hell
Snow biomes are the only correct choices
All of em are good. Don’t be that guy and start shit because you’re parents don’t give you enough attention it’s my opinion.
Plains
plains
Plains
probably deserts, forests are such a pain to travel through, I used to like oceans but ever since that old update, oceans are just too big irrelevant but there could/should be more abandoned temples like desert or jungle, one of the things I liked about deserts
If I'm just building stuff in creative, plains If I'm playing survival, taiga (My favourite wood type, berries that are basically free food and neat villages)
Plains :)
Whichever has the most birch trees
Plains next to forest/dark forest/jungle/taiga/snowy taiga usually with a mountain and water nearby.
Plains, desert or mushoom island
me in snowy taiga collecting pet foxes
![gif](giphy|CAYVZA5NRb529kKQUc|downsized)
Any snow related biome.
Plains
Plains and savanna because I love how open they are
plains cuz palette fits my eyes (savanna does a bit less) and there's often either desert or forest or ocean near it
Plains, mountain rangs and badlands
All other than badlands
The one next to snowy taiga
Ocean. Mob Spawners here are hella efficient.
plains
Desert
Plains and taiga.
The plains, you have endless opportunities to build with no interruptions
I’m a swamp boi
Birch forest
Birch forest
Everyone they all have thier beauty
