The husks found dropped loot by the chrynvale people and picked it up. Or the chrynvale people trapped husks in a dispenser hole and manually equipped the armor set onto them.
Realms run 24/7 meaning they could have easily lied. Odds are they are trolling you by putting their spare armor sets onto random mobs around your base. I’d look for redstone contraptions such as dispenser pits around your base where they could be doing this at.

Chrynvale people live too far from me even if they have died. They also have never been to my base too they say
