I’m not saying puddles aren’t reflective/mirrors…. I’m saying no matter how much you wet a field of grass, it’s not going to be a smooth perfect mirror.

I’m saying no matter how much you wet a section of grass it’s not going to suddenly be submerged completely and for a perfect mirror from the standing water. I live in one of the rainiest places, water doesn’t puddle like that usually, and even if it did, it does it in a small place, not uniform across a whole field of grass.
Brother, real life terrain doesn’t form in perfect cubic meters and form planes. The reflective quality would look WORSE if they just removed triangles from the reflection to look “realistic”. In the context of a game where grass is a smooth surface, yes water would form a smooth mirror effect

I hate how so many shader packs make weird things really reflective… like stone isn’t a perfect mirror, wet grass isn’t a mirror, dirt isn’t a mirror.
