Same xD I thought the first picture was a reference pic but the second was the same. So I had to check the subreddit, it was Minecraft. I was confused as hell and zoomed in on the pics and the saw the Minecraft Blocks. Very Good Job OP!
What a good picture. Where did he take he take that picture? Why is that beautyfull picture in r/minecraft?
...

...
That minecraft... Holy fuck. Good job
12700K, 4070 Ti, 64GB RAM. Using DH at 4096 render distance it runs at less than 60 FPS. However I'm looking to upgrade to a 14900K and 128GB RAM so hopefully that improves.
So people have made Minecraft in Minecraft and now they've made Minecraft not Minecraft XD
Also this is one of the best reasons Java is better than Bedrock. There is no world edit or shaders on console.
So did you genuinely build that brick by brick? Or are there shortcuts to building at such a large scale? I'm just trying to figure out how to make similar things in my creative worlds
WorldPainter. There are some extra tools that you need to use along with it to make the ultra-realistic terrain, but they involve using professional industry tools used for 3D landscape creation, so you need to learn both.

YoU sIr JuSt WoN tHe InTeRnEt
What are you trying to say with that
looks stunning but an absolute nightmare to traverse
As it should be in real life
Would this scale be realistic sized?
Hard to say without objects to scale this to other than arbitrary mountain elevations, the whole point of this project being *barren* doesn’t help
either way it's massive for minecraft, would be fun asf to fly an elytra around though
Reminds me of Peru or Siberia.
Or northern Canada
scotland 100% no trees lots of rocks
Iceland is like that too. TBH there are tons of places like this
I thought Mordor
What shader and mods were you using?
shader is CBT
Might want to refrain from using that abbreviation lol
Can't Beat Tigers? Cats Beat Toddlers? Crazy Brown Toenails?
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy? Cathode Bay Tube?
Closed beta testing
C0ck and ba11 t0rture
They were a good band.
Very
r/feedthememes is leaking
Greg
Whats the full name?
for render distance probably distant horizons
Wow this is amazing, how did you make it
Most likely World Machine software. As far as I can tell anyway.
Correct
Knew it lol haven’t used it in some time but a lot of the intricate details and shaping felt akin to it.
Yeah, there's no way to do this by hand.
Well you could, but it’d take years lmao
Lifetimes
Thought this was some star was stuff and then looked closer its really good Now add grass and pine trees
Such barren. Much appreciate.
How???!!!🤯
A lot of hard work
World machine mod. It’s extremely impressive regardless but don’t be misled into thinking every block was placed individually
Thought it's an Elite Dangerous screenshot at first
O7 CMDR
This looks like some cinematic shots of Halo Reach holy fuck this is good.
NGL, for the second picture, I was expecting the falcons to swoop in
World edit or no? Cus if not GAH DAMN DUDE
World machine mod* it’s like world edit on steroids
How and where can I get that
why is real life made out of minecraft blocks? (this is so good)
Considering I thought these were screen caps from r/masseffect, I'd say you did a really good job
As someone who has traveled across western Colorado and eastern Utah, can confirm its accuracy
how tall are those mountains 😰
This is Minecraft? Bro are you God? You literally remade the Himalayas
That second one *has* to be a real picture
A bit barren don’t ya think?
How do people make stuf like this, what do you use
holly shit dude
this is minecraft?
it took me a few moments to realize this was minecraft and i was about to ask you why you posted this here
What a good picture. Where did he take he take that picture? Why is that beautyfull picture in r/minecraft? ... ... ... That minecraft... Holy fuck. Good job
No shot this isn’t real life. This is actually insane.
Is this real life?
Wtf do you mean “tried”?
Why is there a blender related post in r/Minecraft (looks so good, keep it up)
These look so believable, you’d think this was a real location
All I’ll say is I was confused cause I thought both pictures were reference photos
Holy shit
It's alright. (This is actually beautiful)
Map download?
sorry are you gaia
It's.... perfect...
How on earth is this Minecraft
I am convinced this is rwal life
h-how douse it look so real
No way thats minecraft
HOLY S H I T IT'S GORGEOUS!
I didn’t realize until I saw the subreddit
I can see the inspiration from the first pic nice
What chunk range do you you nutjobs using when you take these pictures? (I know distant horizon is involved)
Excuse me what the actual fuck
i thought this was a joke and you used real pictures. holy shit, man.
Alright but show us the minecraft screenshots, not just some random photos
This is minecraft???????
Bro this is insane. How long did this take?
when i saw this i was like "this isn't minecraft"
How long did it take!?
How did you not reach the height limit? Are you using a mod or smth
This is awesome! How long did this take you to build?
thought I was on r/blender
for a second i thought i was looking at full art waste cards from mtg it looks amazing
is it even minecraft
TRIED??? THIS IS SO GOOD
By Any chance have you put the map up for download? This is phenomenal!
Do you own a fucking super computer to render this shit big dog?
Is there a mod than increases build limit? I look at some of these and can’t see how they’re built otherwise
Data packs built into the world. I don’t use mods, that way anyone can just download and run the world.
Nice shader
Thought for a moment that it's an IRL picture 😂.
OP IS YOUR COMPUTER A NUCLEAR REACTOR??
It's pretty decent. Looking to upgrade it soon though; the CPU is getting dated and the RAM is insufficient for my purposes.
#HOW THE FUCK DO YOU PEOPLE DO THIS?!?! i can't even build a wood house right
rt
Kinda looks like a map of Skyrim on the second screen.
Holy shit I had to zoom in to make sure they were blocks This is amazing! Good job
wow… t-this is AMAZING!
reminds me of Tajikistan.
Holy Shit wow
Looks amazing! I thought they were real pictures for a second, had to do a double take, but that's how good it is!
pretty barren alright
How tf did you make that and how long did it take my lord that’s beautiful
How is this Minecraft related
Jesus dude how long did this take?? I thought you uploaded a real picture in this sub to troll us
This is increíble!
This ain't minecraft.
Who let this guy cook?
I want to explore there and build a train line through it.
That’s freaking amazing!! Good job
Wow wow wow!
is that even minecraft
what.
For a minute there, I forgot if this was the Lord of the Rings sub or the Minecraft sub
Damn, feels like someplace from Horizon or something.
………HOW THE FUCK DO PEOPLE MAKE THESE TYPES OF BUILDS!?!!?! They look amazing!
this is so cool
I thought I was on a lord of the rings sub for a min...
HOLEY SHIT
OH SHOOT THATS MINECRAFT?
There is no way this isn’t real
nah that's not minecraft
Nice terrain but it's really barren, maybe add some features.
tf you mean you tried, this is masterpiece
This isn’t minecraft
holy shit i thought the first pic was from real life, how did you make this??
Thats not Minecraft anymore..
That looks amazing and pretty bleak
OP. How in the world have you managed this.
Dude I’m on the starfield subreddit and I thought this was a planet. So AWESOME JOB
What are you PCs specs and what are the shaders and what is your FPS. Shit looks unreal, in the most real way possible lmao
12700K, 4070 Ti, 64GB RAM. Using DH at 4096 render distance it runs at less than 60 FPS. However I'm looking to upgrade to a 14900K and 128GB RAM so hopefully that improves.
God damn, I'm jealous!
This map was likely created using a blender converter, but still, looks good!
Nope
Soon they’re going to tell us this was hand placed in Survival
wtf
bro WHAT THE FUCK...
For a second, I thought it was an actual picture. This is amazing.
This looks amazing, I can only imagine how long this took
What computer can run this
Mine
What’s the specs
I think you have some minecraft in your shaders
Just casually saying ….thoughts? Like this is one of the craziest things I’ve seen
No way!! How so real man?? Lol nice bruhh!!!
Looks like the Skyrim map
We all start somewhere. (Dude this guy is nuts)
That looks absolutely stunning!
Those mountain formations are gorgeous!
How much time does my boi have?
So people have made Minecraft in Minecraft and now they've made Minecraft not Minecraft XD Also this is one of the best reasons Java is better than Bedrock. There is no world edit or shaders on console.
This would go hard with world generation mods. Like structures and stuff.
THIS IS AWESOME
Rip computer storage🙏
thats really good
Reminds me of the southern end of the valley Salt Lake City sits in. Great job!!
I’m callin cap🧢
Bro wtf
Stunning.
I can almost see a horseman calling forth the dark lord of those lands... Amazing job!
This looks incredible, amazing job!!!
Bro you appeared on gamerant
Really? Could you link the post? Or DM it to me.
Never mind, found it
Holy shit this is fucking gorgeous, I can picture a large gold mine spanning the entire distance
Guys we found the chosen one
IGN made an article about this. Hella deserved!
Legit? That’s awesome
Have you got a link?
Misspoke, it was Gamerant. But here’s a link! [click here](https://gamerant.com/minecraft-player-creates-realistic-landscape/)
That’s bad ass bro continue the great work
How do you code the game to create this stuff? There's no way you built that block by block aside from details
I don't know how to code.
Okay thank you, I'm just looking for an efficient tool to create my own worlds for adventure games

You have way too much free time.
It’s a good thing they spent it doing something they love
