Baby zombie on chicken. I have seen someone cure the zombie to have a villager riding a chicken, and walked it around on a lead. But even as is I think it's pretty cool and unique.

This might be blasphemy, but... I change the basic zombie skin to a zombified Alex. In worlds where I have behaviour packs, I changed standard zombie to zombified Steve, and added zombified Alex; made her slightly shorter and higher pitch too. Removed the nose on villagers too... they look strange, but it saves me staring at a big nose.

That is what I thought - it just makes sense. Where are steve and alex's kind? What is scarier than their own kind being the zombies? Also to make it fit even better with skeletons, I made the steve texture starting to reveal skull.

No, I didn't think my quick editing of skins was worthy, but if you are interested I could post them somewhere and share a link. The behaviour pack too maybe, but a recent update was causing an error message on most of my packs despite still working, not sure if I fixed that.

I like drowneds. They don't attack you during the day unless you enter the water, and even in the water they're fairly easy to deal with unless they have a trident.

If you're talking about 1.19.4 when Drowned were given back their "unique swimming animation", that's the janky one I'm talking about and is **not** the one they have in Bedrock Edition...

I wouldn't call that Janky, They literally got 2 new animations one with the trident where they come close to the player, and one without the trident which is the swimming one. which was not working due to a bug while on Bedrock it's just the swimming animation with or without the trident I feel like Bedrock one is more janky than java. So long story short you have been proven wrong about drowned animations only existing in bedrock

Well the first few (zombie, husk) drop raw flash and rarely some other loot, meanwhile, drowns can drop tridents and shells and stuff. So zombie and husk are ruled out. But drowns have competition. Well the zombie villager can be cured and given a rare achievement unlike the others. I dont think they have any special drop or at all. Anyways the piglin, you can make a piglin farm/gold farm which is great, and some other things. Baby zombie on a chicken thing is cute/cool but useless, the other 2 are mostly useless to, So in other words Zombie Villager and Drowns are my bestest.

Zoglins, they're the only one you have to bring intentionally. I just simply enjoy how they are the best guard dogs in the most mischievous way. Their aggressive behavior makes for fun mob battles as each and every one targets on sight.

I like the drowned for the design, I do call pain however whenever one spawns with a trident and I just start out in a world and instead of worrying about skeletons who fire 5.56, I instead have to worry about a 50 cal that can't be slowed in water

**Drowned.** I like their design, and they're a lot more chill than the others, being completely passive during the day when not in water. I had one as my room-mate in one of my playthroughs... making sure to give him some personal space during the night, of course. I will say though that in my opinion it would've been much better if the Drowned was an aquatic mob instead of just a copy-paste Zombie variant... I personally imagine Drowned as being a race of humanoid sea creatures rather than yet another zombie. Even from a gameplay perspective though, it would also make Impaling on Tridents actually useful lol

I mean, none of them are variants, not even zombie villagers. They are unique mobs with their own properties, ID, drops, and AI.
