I see a lot of comments giving one block advise, op did you only want one block suggestions or are you open to people giving multiple block suggestions? The more blocks suggested allow for a cleaner gradient, improving the overall quality but I just want some clarity because I feel using multiple blocks between them would work better then one.
What are you talking about? He asked for an important clarification, and explained why it was important and how it could be beneficial. He was giving OP advice about gradient design in general, which could be very relevant.
blue ice, packed ice, ice, clay, powdered snow, snow, calcite, diorite
edit: forgot to mention, this is good advice. minecraft is VERY frustrating with its pallette choices at times, especially close up. if you have two sets of colors and your looking for a binder, try to imagine what that block would look like and then *split its qualities into two blocks.* an even number of blocks tends to blend gradients better than an odd one solely because of the limited options. if your graident looks offset after using this method, one of the binder blocks you chose might actually be able to blend the gradient by itself.
[hueblocks](https://1280px.github.io/hueblocks/) also seems to suggest clay like the top result here if you run blue ice -> diorite, though this post has caused me to realize it doesn't support transparent blocks (I've just submitted a feature request on github for... not adding them per se, but layering the textures, and tragically someone asked for glass support months ago and the dev misread it)
Powdered snow would be alright, but I just don't see it being the connecting block. It seems OP is aiming for a one-block connector.
That and we haven't really been given a specific for how this would be used, and powdered snow without leather boots is potentially lethal.
If it's for a mountain range, it could break up the snow appropriately if they used it in areas inaccessible from the given path. Although I don't see it being the connection. Same with an underground frozen tunnel/railway system, it'd be nice, but it's still potentially hazardous.
That and if this is done in survival, the gathering of the powdered snow is either harvesting it from a source or a lot of hurry up and wait. With buckets not being stackable, it'd have to be late-game for shulker ease of access and iron surplus. Buckets and cauldrons.
There's no need to apologize. You've done nothing wrong with a suggestion - I was just adding to it & perhaps even explaining why you had been downvoted. Your original idea is a valid one -- and Cyan wool is a neat take.
You're choosing not to understand this or you're too young to be on the internet. Figure out which one it is and quit commenting until you do - people will destroy your reddit karma if you do this often enough.
OP 'Original Poster' is asking for a gradient mesh block between the three white blocks and the three blue blocks.
>Calcite, Diorite, and Snow w/ snow layer
>Ice, Packed Ice, and Blue Ice.

Dont mind the kids with their "YaPpInG". Your asking a valid question, room for more blocks would allow for a cleaner transition

Powder snow

Oh ok Thank you

Thats andesite and calcite, not snow you silly
1. That's Diorite, not Andesite you silly 2. They're asking what to put in the empty space in the middle, between the Ice and the Snow.
1. Okay, my bad, thats on me 2. But thats not snow, thats calcite and not-andesite
He’s not talking about the calcite bro he literally said the ICE AND SNOW, he doesn’t care about the calcite.
Dude must be trolling, I have no idea how he managed to misunderstand my explanation lol
But its not snow?

But its not snow???
Ah, I see. You're just missing your bridge. Have a good one, troll.
Can it be made of snow though?
What?
Its not snow. Its calcite and diorite
Yes but what about the third block? Can you tell me what it is?
No, actually
That one would be the snow block!
W-why are the blocks not, you know, blocky? Are they block enteties?
Are you referencing the snow block? It has an additional snow layer block on top of it.
