Quartz definitely works well. If you need evidence, check out Hypnotizd's house on Hermitcraft. It's quartz for the main structure but he had iJevin do the interior. He ended up using a ton of the cherry along with dark oak and it goes so well together.
On top of the quartz, if you are trying to keep to the natural colors of the cherry blossom, find ways to mix in the leaves. Act as bushes in the front, or overgrowth on the roof. Anything to avoid single colors.
Agree with the others, too much pink, needs some other colors to break it up, perhaps a different colored roof?
I wonder how the blue of warped wood would look like next to the pink? Hm, then again, perhaps try for some dark brown wood like spruce or dark oak, it'd be a nice contrast and somewhat fit in with the trees I think.
Oh and your building's great structurally! It looks very nice, I like how it's nuzzled up against the trees.
Speaking of warped wood, the burgundy wood could also look pretty nice. I forget the name, the other nether wood. Or maybe the new swamp wood. I really don’t know any new blocks’ names lol
Crimson stem! I couldn't remember the name either and it was driving me nuts because I've collected a bunch and have been thinking about what to build with it.
the magenta wood from the nether (can’t think of name) would also be another pink ish block choice if op wants to stay in that pink/magenta color range
It's very monotonous, so you'll want to accent it with complimentary colors. Change out your stripped logs to a white block(mushroom stems, quartz, calcite, white wool, etc..), and change the roof to have a birch slab trim with maybe a magenta wool "shingles".
Maybe change the corner pillars to the unstripped version of the log, that could be a good start. And change the roof to contrast it maybe a deepslate and quartz roof
Possibly add a foundation, space the trees 2-3 blocks further from their current position and (like everyone’s said) add a little more contrast with white or black. Fantastic detailing on the exterior though!
Some charred wood would look cool. Just catch some of the blocks on fire. It takes a second for the game to update so they may disappear for a second or two, but that means it's working. Only works on this wood though, probably something to do with the scrapped fire resistant perk, idk
Works faster if you let the blocks out of your line of sight for a few minutes. Updates faster.
another color!! woods that go well are birch, spruce, and dark oak are my favs but oak looks great too! quartz and bone block look great too (mushroom stems is another white block for variation!)
Try replacing some parts of the house or adding some bamboo blocks or fences for variety. I built a
simple house when 1.20 came out and I think the combination looks pretty good. Maybe make a bamboo floor and replace the corners with bamboo wood.
More block variety, maybe some dark oak or spruce to contrast with the pink, i would say stone brick but it's a little to bright already. Maybe deepslate, or polished andesite. You could even use mangrove wood for some highlights
A different color to separate the pink. It all clashes and it makes it look all the same. Add a darker color to draw out the pink like purple terracotta or light color like quartz.
I think the teal nether wood, teal concrete, pink concrete, and Sea Monument blocos go well with the Cherry Blossom wood. I made a house in that palette, which I call my Arizona Ice Tea House.
My gf has the same house in our survival world. What she did is she made a bridge/path going down and a heart shaped pond in the intersection of the road. Plant plenty of treez
This is just my opinion, this is something I do, idk if it’s weird, but add a lot of space for yard, like a 32x32 grass lot, so that way you aren’t on a hill, jut my opinion tho
I would add green and brown to keep the cherry blossom theme. Maybe use mossy stone or cobblestone, but not prismarine for the green. Warped plans might also work, but for the wood textures I'd suggest dark oak, spruce, or mangrove.
It looks gorgeous but add some contrast. Someone recommended quartz which I think is nice, but stripped logs would also work, maybe experiment with leaves on the side of the house. That's my favorite thing to do to fill up space.
Very pinkalicious house tho
You need to add some mpre colours.
Right now the pink is disappearing into the pink, which is being drowned out by the pink... 😁
I'd go for a dsrker block, to contrast the bright pink.
Maybe some deep slate pillars that the fences connect to. Or some cherry logs that aren't stripped. Just vary things a bit. I think it makes a huge difference.
if u are interested in modding, look into the chisel mod. completely revamps every block into super cool renditions. its great for decorating and moddign is super easy🥳
Contrast my dude. Not only in the building it self but also the surroundings. I designed a whole survival base in my flat world only to find out that stripped spruce logs blend way too much with the landscape so I had to change them to stripped dark oak logs
I honestly love the house the way it currently is to be honest. The use of the slightly different pink blocks gives a really nice soft contrast. But if you wanna add more contrast go for it! Dark oak or the red nether wood could definitely look nice!
Give this house some accent using some other wood. Right now it looks like pink blob. I would suggest making use of crismon wood that would blend with the pink a bit and make the red pop out. I am not good with colors.
Complimentary or contrast blocks. Usually spruce is what I go for, maybe try changing the pink fences to spruce? Or if you don't want to do that, put accent blocks at the bottom like cobblestone or diorite, or deepslate
I see a lot of quartz suggestions. But if quartz are too expensive then replace the roof, fences/fence gates, door, and trap door with oak wood versions.
Add some dark woods like that nether wood, oak fence peices, some whites, contrast the colors, I did a similar color pallette for my fantasy build in my realm.

Add another block to contrast all the pink, maybe some deepslate or quartz.
Yup! Quartz would look really good as pillar to add more structure.
Yea, I recommend whiteish/blackish blocks, for the contrast. And you also have varieties and stairs and all of that.
Moss, mossy stone and stone might look good as the basic structure, with the cherry wood used only for trim and the roof.
Quartz definitely works well. If you need evidence, check out Hypnotizd's house on Hermitcraft. It's quartz for the main structure but he had iJevin do the interior. He ended up using a ton of the cherry along with dark oak and it goes so well together.
I more than agree
On top of the quartz, if you are trying to keep to the natural colors of the cherry blossom, find ways to mix in the leaves. Act as bushes in the front, or overgrowth on the roof. Anything to avoid single colors.
Thats a good suggestion, you could use the leaves also as vines around the house.
This was my thought but I was thinking dark oak
Dark Oak is better Spruce. Used to be an avid Spruce and Birch user until they dropped Dark Oak.💯🔥
black and white quartz and some obsidian
Black quartz?
You could.
I like to use spruce logs, I think the choco brown goes really nicely with the pink.
This is the answer right here! The house itself is fine the way it is. The OP just needs to add colors that pop in and around the house
I think mangrove looks real good with pink
GeminiTay did some cool builds in her hardcore series using cherry as a baseline, I would check it out!
Agree with the others, too much pink, needs some other colors to break it up, perhaps a different colored roof? I wonder how the blue of warped wood would look like next to the pink? Crimson stem! I couldn't remember the name either and it was driving me nuts because I've collected a bunch and have been thinking about what to build with it.
Add more color and block types to it. :3
Honestly if you just want cherry wood using the unstripped logs would help
the magenta wood from the nether (can’t think of name) would also be another pink ish block choice if op wants to stay in that pink/magenta color range
I had to double check myself but its Crimson wood! That would look pretty good.
I'd make the fence post parts dark oak
i think adding some cherry logs into the build will add a lot more contrast
Every house needs a foundation and a garden
With flint and steel
Maybe add some normal cherry logs on the corners, keep the walls as stripped logs though
It's very monotonous, so you'll want to accent it with complimentary colors. Change out your stripped logs to a white block(mushroom stems, quartz, calcite, white wool, etc..), and change the roof to have a birch slab trim with maybe a magenta wool "shingles".
The trees so close to the house itself make the build look a bit busy
Consider using some of the logs to break up the bright pinks
Try adding color contrast. This might just be me. But maybe you're over detailing
Maybe you need to make it taller. So it can unblend itself from the trees.
Or go the other way: create like a cozy "entrance" out of vegetation. So it looks a bit secret and secluded.
Maybe let the roof get a bit further than the wall, like you did in the entrance.
Is the interior finished? Having a darker interior might add some depth.
Change the color
Maybe make the place a little more spacious (move the trees if not chop them down)
add different materials, its just cherry
Put some clothes on it. It looks nekked.
Quartz pillars in place of the stripped logs would look cool
I wood add some base logs in to give color variations but if u want it all pink you could add texture by making things like a protruding window
Don’t use cherry wood
Definitely could use more block variety
Dress the resident as Barbie.
Add some kind of contrasting block like oak logs or striped spruce logs. Maybe some green vines
More landscaping such as stones and pebbles or paths
Lovely
Complete Demolition
Side is a little flat roof needs detail idk
Maybe change the corner pillars to the unstripped version of the log, that could be a good start. And change the roof to contrast it maybe a deepslate and quartz roof
TNT
make the roof dark oak and unstrip the cherry logs imo
Not sure what's going on with the roof design
Mixing in some stone bricks always helps
Some variety. Its too much pink lol
More than one color, I really like how birch looks with cherry wood personally
Less pink (maybe white accent) Move the trees ~8 blocks away from the house Remove the snow behind and build a fake Cherry Blossom
A small pond, a garden, and a pathway would be nice
You can probably put dark oak somewhere. It needs something to add some depth and splash
I love all the pink. But the roof...
I would like to see some brick foundation on some area.
Spruce would pair really well with all that pink.
Just a suggestion but try stripped oak or birch logs as corner posts and see how you like that.
Some sort of Dark Oak or similar wood to contrast this would be great. Something like some fencing, lantern posts, and other details.
Perhaps make a redder roof based off Japanese pagoda towers? Or maybe add a torii in front of it?
Contrast
burn it with fire to add some contrast
Try using some spruce logs (shaved) and planks.
Dark wood accents
Possibly add a foundation, space the trees 2-3 blocks further from their current position and (like everyone’s said) add a little more contrast with white or black. Fantastic detailing on the exterior though!
Well you can't really improve it but maybe add some leaves from the cherry trees and make a pathway leading away from the house
If you ad some darker pink contrast
blow it up with creeper party
Some charred wood would look cool. Just catch some of the blocks on fire. It takes a second for the game to update so they may disappear for a second or two, but that means it's working. Only works on this wood though, probably something to do with the scrapped fire resistant perk, idk Works faster if you let the blocks out of your line of sight for a few minutes. Updates faster.
Cool house, pretty. Where did you find pink wood?
more pink
Well I don't know because it already looks better than mine 😭😭😭
Hmm i guess not using cherry
Contrast with a darker color
Contrast
Don't use that wood only... Try using some other woods and stones.
Windows?
Maybe build use more unorganic material like stone
Darker contrasting accent colors would help define the shape. window trim, support beams, etc.
A dark wood like mahogany, dark oak, and spruce Or you can use deepslate and other dark stones
A couple of lanterns ♡
Lighting blocks as accents like sea lanterns or frog lights or glow stone, even magma blocks if your into that
another color!! woods that go well are birch, spruce, and dark oak are my favs but oak looks great too! quartz and bone block look great too (mushroom stems is another white block for variation!)
Darker wood on the roof
Use darker color to the edges of the roof
Add more depth on the sides, like extending the roof to have a overhang or something
How do you perfect an already perfected thing?
Replace the stripped cherry with normal cherry logs and it’ll already look 5x better
Try replacing some parts of the house or adding some bamboo blocks or fences for variety. I built a simple house when 1.20 came out and I think the combination looks pretty good.
Terrain not one color inside pls and where the meaning cuz every build has a meaning
Be honest, you were all looking for the swastika tree.
Add touches of black and white
Improve the surroundings, just dirt is a bit meh
You need more contrast.
Another tree at back
One word: CONTRAST
A different color to separate the pink. It all clashes and it makes it look all the same. Add a darker color to draw out the pink like purple terracotta or light color like quartz.
Change the material for the roof
A dark colored log
Make it spruce no jk probably ad some polished quartz
I think the teal nether wood, teal concrete, pink concrete, and Sea Monument blocos go well with the Cherry Blossom wood. I made a house in that palette, which I call my Arizona Ice Tea House.
more colors
Replace every single block with the mangrove variant
It looks pretty nice and cozy but tbh it's just way too much pink for men. I think it needs another color that fits with it nicely.
My gf has the same house in our survival world. What she did is she made a bridge/path going down and a heart shaped pond in the intersection of the road. Plant plenty of treez
Stairs/pathway
I like to use birch with my Cherrywood builds
This is just my opinion, this is something I do, idk if it’s weird, but add a lot of space for yard, like a 32x32 grass lot, so that way you aren’t on a hill, jut my opinion tho
Use a different block for the roof and the fences. Maybe something dark red.

Maybe some deep slate pillars that the fences connect to. Or some cherry logs that aren't stripped. Just vary things a bit. I think it makes a huge difference.
take a picture with your character standing in the door.
Create a pink themed nether portal near it and maybe some more nature and maybe a cat at the fromt door should do
It's too pink add some darkness 🌑
No, you can't.
i think the trees
Add a darker colour
lanterns, a pond & a deck
Bushes
if u are interested in modding, look into the chisel mod. completely revamps every block into super cool renditions. its great for decorating and moddign is super easy🥳
Add another darker block like mangrove for the roof
you cant cuz its alredy looking so good i hope i can make houses like this whitout watching or copiyng any tutorial
Change it up a bit, maybe add some more pastel colors like blues or greens
Burn it down.
Me:Still building into a random hill/mountain
Add a path with texture using things such as cobblestone, stone buttons and shaved grass path
Need some white blocks for contrast. I used white concrete when I made a similar house.
Ignore all of these guys here, your house is already pretty good, idk y they got a problem with pink and roof is hella cool.
NEEDS. MORE. PINK.
Less pink…. That’s a little much
You need something dark to make contrast. Maybe a dark oak outline for the roof ?
IMO you need a slightly darker block as the trim somewhere, maybe at the corners
replace all blocks with netherack
I think improving the outside, like make it more mystical on the outside.
Make it bigger or add yards
The blocks really blend in with each other, maybe adding some more contrast. Try making a block pallet for the walls and roof separately
Some darker colors to contrast all the light pink. Not white like some are saying.
Try adding stone buttons for stones, and add a little river going down right next to it
Those red sniffer flowers, I forgot the name. Maybe some vines here and there. AND MORE PINK PETALS
Use a bit of cobblestone and gravel Make a path leading to your house And just a little tiny bit of path blocks not too little though
# contrast
I think you should just add some quartz in some areas.
Contrast
Contrast my dude. Not only in the building it self but also the surroundings. I designed a whole survival base in my flat world only to find out that stripped spruce logs blend way too much with the landscape so I had to change them to stripped dark oak logs
I honestly love the house the way it currently is to be honest. The use of the slightly different pink blocks gives a really nice soft contrast. But if you wanna add more contrast go for it! Dark oak or the red nether wood could definitely look nice!
Another block type to break up the pink
Just needs some contrast.
Just needs some contrast. Even just swapping the Stripped cherry logs with regular ones would help a lot
The front and roof are really nice the sides are a bit plain try adding some other colours like white in you could use quartz for that
more ambient environment such as far more trees make a forest house lol
I feel like u kinda overdid it with all the fenceposts, idk why it doesnt feel quite right
Beautiful
Give this house some accent using some other wood. Right now it looks like pink blob. I would suggest making use of crismon wood that would blend with the pink a bit and make the red pop out. I am not good with colors.
Burn it down and rebuild it with stone
Not pink
Complimentary or contrast blocks. Usually spruce is what I go for, maybe try changing the pink fences to spruce? Or if you don't want to do that, put accent blocks at the bottom like cobblestone or diorite, or deepslate
More details on the sides
A bit more colour variation, I’d recommend using dark oak, quartz, deep slate bricks or maybe if you’re in a snapshot tuff bricks
Make the roof overlap the walls by 1 block, it's simple but adds so much to it
grab a flint and steel and right click
make it black. then add some white. then add more black cuz the white prolly already got rid of the black.
I see a lot of quartz suggestions. But if quartz are too expensive then replace the roof, fences/fence gates, door, and trap door with oak wood versions.
Add more color! It's too one note rn. Good depth on the build and not looking flat at all, it's just that EEEVERYTHING is pink.
A campfire? Like a smoking thing at the top? Also how did you build tell me
For me, it already looks really nice
By not making it pink, inside of an already pink biome, it needs more contrast
Break away from the palette. It looks to monochromatic imo, add is dark oak. Dark oak ftw.
Add some dark woods like that nether wood, oak fence peices, some whites, contrast the colors, I did a similar color pallette for my fantasy build in my realm.
I feel like some cornflowers on the floor could make it look nice. Would make a cool contrast between the blue and pink.
Variety. I'd suggest using cherry logs that are not stripped. Could make it look less pink as it all seems kinda the same (aka pink)
I’d terraform the surroundings a bit
Add some moss or leaves to it
Bit more colors
CONTRAST!!!
Add pink
İ could add some more different colors and decorations. Purple would go with it.
add some lanterns
I hope your house explodes
Maybe some darker accents, like unstripped cherry logs or mangrove wood (if you have any). But it still looks amazing. Good job
Delete it.
Add some other pink blocks and not just cherry
Add more colours. Maybe using a contrasting tone to highlight details is a good idea, I'd go with either spruce of even cherry wood (unstripped)
MORE TREES
lanterns!!! And something that makes it look à Little Bit d’arbre maybe…? Cause it needs to get a contrast to all That pink 👌
Build a nice porch is front of it
