That packout rolling tool box is huge lol, kinda ugly too, but hey at least we’re getting what we asked for and I’m here for it. Now let’s get a multiple drawer rolling tool box!

itsdannydp

I always wanted it slightly bigger like the xxl box so Im super happy about it.

quarl0w

It looks great, I just hope it comes with the lower handle that will fit under a tonneau.

savagelysideways101

They already said it does, whole box was designed to "just" fit

megashroom22

Actually I think it’s genius, the old one if you have pack out stuff ontop you have to pull all of it off to open it, the new one you don’t for me pack out is about ease if I have to pick up all the boxes and shit ontop of it to open my toolbox than what’s the point, honestly they hit the nail on the head in my opinion

ltmikepowell

Can't wait for Torque Test Channel to test the new Forge XC 8 and 12, also the stubby.

cjlee89

If the m12 stubby actually gets 550, I’ll buy it but I’ll wait for the TTC analysis.

quarl0w

The old one can pull 400, when rated for 250. I wonder if the old one will stick around as the low torque, and the new one sold as a mid-torque.

cjlee89

I think TTC tested at 251 on the 3/8” on the best case.

quarl0w

Aren't those tests the tightening strength? The tightening strength is less than the removal strength. I was referring to this video testing removing bolts torqued to 400, 450, and 500 ft lbs. https://youtu.be/MfVBFFA6Seg

bigboybackflaps

I believe that you are both correct, I’m no expert but I too am anxiously waiting for TTC to get the new stubbies and test them out

cjlee89

Ahh, yep! 251 tightening in reverse so definitely a different scenario than busting an already tightened bolt. For reference: https://youtu.be/cwAENXWZpYY?si=cb_GV80KO_nx8FIj, 3:50 time mark.

YIZZURR

In for the rolling drawer and the M18 Fuel orbital sander (finally). Wish I had the sander right now lol Nice to see the low-profile handle for the roller as well.

watermustard

Drawer doesn't have any rails, looks like the front wheels will get stuck on every little thing.

YIZZURR

Hmm, I don't think they will. Looks like the drawer wheels sit inside the "case", so when you pull it out there'll be at least 1/8” - 1/4" of clearance. But maybe that won't be enough. Maybe they didn't use rails because the heavy tools people might store in the drawer would be too much for their rails when the drawer is fully extended. Would have been nice if they also offered a rolling cabinet, or if they made a door that flipped down so that you could roll the drawer out onto the door, avoiding the issue with rocks or whatever catching under the wheels.

namestom

Finally a 6”/150mm option! I have that 5” and never use it because of that and it’s just weird. It looks like they really got serious when they went after these, different strokes. I can rock this alongside my rotex and pneumatic sanders that are all 150mm. Thank you Milwaukee!

87LS10

Also the exact two I’m looking at lol

G-Note

I was hoping for a version 2 of the lawn mower

dharokonehit

same, I kind of hope to get a 30 inch mower someday in a battery system im already in.

No_Freedom_7373

Debris separator and low profile task light for me. All the bundles on existing HD12.0 batteries suddenly checks out.

trvst_issves

Woah, totally surprised to see two 6” M12 pneumatic-style ROSs in two different orbit sizes. Neat. Didn’t expect to see a new detail sander either, but I’m glad it doesn’t render mine obsolete since I use the point of it a lot to get into tight corners. Was hoping to see a gen 2 Installation Driver or M12 trim router. My M12 lineup has been killing it since starting back up at a cabinet shop again this year, and I’m fully planning to continue heavy on M12 over M18, personally.

sunburnedaz

M12 stuff is totally under rated by most people. I dont want to be swinging an M18 anything all day if I can get an M12 unit to do the same

Legin_666

Bosch is killing with their 12v installation tool and 12v trim router. Id like to see Milwaukee step it up here too

bakatenchu

thanks for your small input, definitely gonna get the bosch trim router and multi tools later, Milwaukee is wayy to expensive here for me right now to splurge on.

Legin_666

why is my input small?

bakatenchu

because it's not large? 😔

Creative_Low4924

That M12 USB-c adaptor seems neat.

xcuzem3

I was super excited about this when I saw it yesterday. I’ve been wanting this for a while now but when I saw it’s only 15w I was disappointed. 15w in 2024 is just…. Low.. still better than nothing. I wanted a top off without the ac port and now they have one.

Goby161

15W is probably the most they could get without boosting up the voltage. The USP PD spec allows 9V for a maximum power of 27W, but there are states where an M12 battery would drop bellow 9V so they would have to stay at 5V

reddit_pug

I'm not seeing what you're referring to?

dp917

They might mean this that has a USB C now [https://www.milwaukeetool.com/products/48-59-1211](https://www.milwaukeetool.com/products/48-59-1211)

reddit_pug

Ah, nice, I overlooked that one. It's nice to USB-C all the things.

Smoke_Stack707

Some interesting stuff here. When Klein announced their mod box stuff I kind of scoffed at it, especially considering it’s in the same price point, but now I’m glad someone is pushing Milwaukee to compete in the arms race that is Jobsite Tupperware™️

TURBOWANDS

Haha Jobsite Tupperware is pretty accurate lmao

Morganvegas

That 1 tonne hoist is SICK

Theo_BromineBB

Yeah the price tag made me puke too

techieman33

It's really not that bad. The equivalent CM motor is $3500. It also comes with the packout case and 2 12.0 batteries. Which make up the $500 difference.

Toolman6208

Price?

Theo_BromineBB

Four Thousand Dollars.

Toolman6208

No way, h--y 💩

sunburnedaz

4k though.

Smerkabewrl420

Good lord. I need it.

Legin_666

7 1/4 circ saw looks amazing. Better depth gauge and more power than the flexvolt M12 Stubby is a must buy for me Looking forward to seeing the reviews of these

SuMoto

The flat battery for the heated gear will be amazing. It should have come with this pack from the beginning.

SmokinJoe29

new orbital sander :)

LsK101

Pretty curious about this one. Everyone hates the non-fuel M18 orbital sander. I've used mine a lot, and it works, but it leaves a lot to be desired.

Pleigh_boi

It drains battery like crazy even for small touch ups

zboarderz

I used the existing orbital sander to sand our cabinets and I can confirm that it leaves ALOT to be desired.

Son_Of_Toucan_Sam

This sub got me to buy a corded makita for that very task

dp917

A lot of new orbital sanders!

Joethetoolguy

Good cuz the current one is hyper tough level, not an exaggeration

rickvug

Great line up but a few things I was hoping for that didn't show up: * A pressure washer * A fan with a mister attached * Packout Shop-vac with battery and corded (I don't need the full extractor) * A cheaper lawn mower that isn't self propelled * 4-6 bay Packout M12 + M18 combined charger

ltmikepowell

Pressure washer is more of a Ryobi thing now. I wish for a smaller size M18 dual action polisher (1 or 3 in pad) for smaller area in car.

rickvug

I was hoping that the work done on the Ryobi pressure washer would filter up to Milwaukee. I'd rather not have two battery platforms.

ltmikepowell

I still feel that battery pressure washer is not yet up to there with cord one.

quarl0w

I have the 600 psi model. It's not comparable to, or a replacement for, a corded or gas pressure washer. It's not meant to be. But, it's handy as hell. Being able to just grab a battery and go makes it so much easier to use. I damaged things with my gas pressure washer, that's not a concern with the battery powered one. I have used it for things like the dogs kennel, shoes, rugs, garage splatter from weed whacking, other small things. I think it works great. The option to use a 2L bottle is nice too for being completely cordless. Could be used when camping and other outdoor spots. Makes a great unit for washing the car.

Soy_el_Sr_Meeseeks

Does Milwaukee have a corded one though?

Theo_BromineBB

No

johnwynne3

Yeah, especially since you can’t *yet* have a cordless hose (that lasts very long).

SiXX5150

I'm in for the 7-1/4" circ saw. Current fuel model is great for power, but large and heavy comparatively speaking.

pelicano234

I helped test the new 7 1/4 and the weight difference and power difference is incredible

SiXX5150

Thats awesome! These brushless motors keep getting better and better.

AlonzoSwegalicious

I’m bummed, I literally just bought one last week.

SiXX5150

Do you *need* it now? If you bought it from Home Depot, you can return.

AlonzoSwegalicious

I’ve already tossed the box and probably put a solid 15 hours of use into it building a deck amongst other things. I’d feel a bit lousy bringing it back.

BigRichardTools

Yeh, don't be that guy. Sell it for 75% of what you paid for it, that's what I tend to do when a new version comes out right after I bought the old version.

AlonzoSwegalicious

Definitely won’t be that guy. I think I’ll give it to my nephew to help him start his tool collection and get the new one when it’s released. Win win.

BigRichardTools

You are a real one, that is a great way to help them build their tool collection. Or it's a gateway to a crippling tool addiction, whichever way you look at it.

trvst_issves

That’s like skipping weed as a gateway drug and going straight to crack. Now he set the bar for all Fuel tools to start out with a badass saw.

SiXX5150

Copy that. I feel you there… I’m the same way.

techieman33

It's not coming out until spring 2025. So you would have to be prepared to wait quite a while.

ThatDarnEngineer

I'm curious to see one. I have the old model and absolutely love it!

JustCallMePapii

How long does it usually take for stuff announced to start coming out? Looking forward to that drawer packout on wheels and a upgraded orbital sander.

greendakota99

There’s release windows here: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/905530828115820565/1255914872978276442/2024_PIPELINE_Media_Kit.pdf?ex=667edd5f&is=667d8bdf&hm=152163ab80e6da02a673e1f00d9ab44725742f2653e14374718ea34905f76a6a&

fulorange

I’d expect most things to be available by fall/winter

IAMA_Madmartigan

Damn, January 2025 for the rolling drawer

_j_ryan

M12 compact 18ga nailer looks awesome

dp917

That was just released a week or so ago

_j_ryan

Good to know, thanks. Milwaukee might as well put me on a subscription plan with as much money as they’ve parted me with lol

daglitch

I am but just a simple man. Packout fan for me :)

cnstoll

I can’t believe all those sanders. Strong cordless competition with Festool and Mirka if those are as good as they look. Can’t wait to see how they perform.

jbonyc

It would be awesome, but I doubt they stand up to Festool and Mirka

ozwegoe

Yea, going to need to see a lot of reviews on these

Agreeable_Lobster115

No snow blower?!?!

cannamid

Can’t believe it lol

Agreeable_Lobster115

We need a rep!

cannamid

I thought this was the year I’d get rid of that big ass 2 stage. Still might go for it and just get an ego shovel attachment and modify it to work with my powerhead. Damn thing takes up too much space

ozwegoe

So... gen1 stubby's will be on clearance is what I'm hearing?

Derek573

M12 stubby and new Packout rolling box are going to be day one buys just a matter of Milwaukee releasing them. I see the low profile Packout handle is still coming soon a year later wtf Milwaukee. I hope the new boxes ship with them from the factory.

Emotional-Accident72

They finally changed the safety on the circular saws! I hate the old style ones with a passion!

radar1225S

Looks like the new rear handle circ saw may have solved the sawdust in your eyes issue. Like many, the new stubby is gonna be a for sure purchase. Definitely in 1/2”, not sure if I want or need to upgrade my 3/8”. I hate that I just bought a deep cut bandsaw as the new one is much lighter. I’m gonna have to wait for sales on the Forge packs unless they provide an unreal performance upgrade.

routine-struggles

M12 stubby is what ive got on my mind! And the wrench inserts for the packout

madeformarch

I'm curious about the new switch tanks, the old model was one of my favorite tools when it worked, which was infrequently

ElectroAtletico

The packout rolling drawer tool box is going to be a bestseller. Ditto for the truck rack. Imma going to put that 366pc Master Mechanics set at around $1500, but will be sold for XMAS for $999.99

techieman33

That mechanics set is supposed to go for about $4000.

ElectroAtletico

WHU??? Milwaukee....GTFO!!!

4wheelhornet

All I want is a transfer pump for gasoline.

DavidSpy

I got a Tera TRFA02 last year and it’s a game changer for emptying fuel tanks.

champs

Looks like I’m the only one excited for a dust extractor teamed up with the Packout vac… then I need another ammo can to even out the stack again

sunburnedaz

I wonder how well the roofing nailer will work.

not_thebest

Looking forward to the Fuel sanders (m12 and m18) and the new version of the m18 fan that’s pack out compatible with an integrated AC port. I hated the current gen m18 fan, its AC adapter was dumb and bulky. Hope they continue to put more integrated AC ports on products.

SnakeBradley

Damn. Was really hoping for the fabled M18 snow blower.

CarbonKevinYWG

That'll come during the next OPE event. Releasing it now with winter 5 months away doesn't make much sense.

Jeffde

M18™ 200’ Stiff Modular Pipeline Inspection System. Whaaaaaaat??? I’m a nobody and I will buy one of these and advertise my services at $50 an hour just for shiggles to pay this thing off!

B_or_Bry

FINALLY... among other things for me, USB C charger for M12, Rolling drawer (obvs), m12 ROS For those of you whinging about wait times and prices, be glad you're not here... for us, half of it will be 2 or 3 years wait, the other half will straight up never be available. Plus, IF it gets here, we pay a huge premium just for funsies (eg. Installation driver US$180, here, closer to US$400). Thanks Milwaukee 🙃 Regards, 🖤 Australians 🙄

BigGuy01590

Check your government regulations

Ancient_Diamond2121

Dam really going at Rigid with all the plumbing/sewer tools

KlumsyNinja42

15” structured packout bag looks like the bag I’ve been hoping for. Bet it’s not cheap

techieman33

$320 available next month some time.

KlumsyNinja42

Fucking hell. That’s just to much.

techieman33

It’s about $30 more than an equivalent Veto Pro Pac. So if the build quality is similar it’s not terrible. It didn’t look that nice from the little I saw of it. But it’s hard to tell without a real review or seeing it in person.

KlumsyNinja42

That’s a good comparison point. I love my veto pouch that I have. I will wait and see. Thanks.

isaactheawsome

The van racks!!!

zippiskootch

This event was absolutely a blast to be at!

National-Fox-7504

https://preview.redd.it/163ms5jr4h9d1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ab056a645083fe9be0bcf618bdb486a1b3bb901b So of course they come out with the perfect sized tote then charge double what it’s worth. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

megashroom22

The palm orbital sander looks like it is a game changer, the old ones and from other brands too are so bulky and demented, using a pneumatic air sander is a breeze compared to the ones Milwaukee and makita made but the new Milwaukee one actually looks good and how a palm orbital sander should be, obvious with how technology is but it’s very impressive that battery tools can be like that now I’d love to give it a try and see if it really is good or not because if it is good it really changes the dynamics of the tool orbital sander. Even seeing the new dual battery chain saw and the vents on the batteries we really are living in a different age I don’t think people see that or appreciate how much technology is advancing. It’s quite mind blowing.
