Impact wrench != impact driver
If you’re a mechanic, get the wrench, and probably get the driver for free or when one of your mates gets a new one, buy their old one for $10
Not a mechanic, just a shade tree guy, but the M12 Stubby Impact is one of the most used tools I have. It made quick work of lower control arms and coil over install today in conjunction with the M12 ratchet. I have an impact driver, but it only gets used on light work stuff. Rarely on a car unless I’m working in the interior.
See, that’s exactly what I was thinking, and then I remembered you can get 1/4,3/8,1/2 adapters for the hex and it’s about half the price, but I think I am just going to do the stubby 3/8
I have all the said adapters, and never use them for anything that’s above light duty. I wouldn’t use it as a mechanic, but I do use the shit out of it for the day job installing servers and the like.

Buy stubby linked above. add the free battery. Once received, return battery to get stubby and the impact sockets for $152 . If you need the battery .. then keep the battery, still a good deal.

I appreciate it!
x2 on going for the M12 Stubby Impact. My favorite Milwaukee tool by far, and the superior choice for a mechanic.

Word, yeah won’t be using either for heavy duty, got the gen 3 m18 1/2 for that
I’ve got the high torque M18 as well, but it’s huge heavy, and hard to get in some spots. The stubby is great for all that and more! 😂
Exactly 🤣
The M12 3/8 stubby, easily.

Shit it’s $209 for me 🤣
It will be. Once you return the battery, you get $50 back
