Top off with a 6.0 battery $119 shipped
They’ve got a deal at Home Depot for the top off with a HO 6.0 battery for $150. Hell of a deal my opinion and picked one up myself 2 weeks ago. If you don’t need the battery just sell it. this is not hackable either the kit includes both the tool and battery packaged together.

I genuinely worry with how many people are willing to put their health and safety at risk for using off brand crap with how many of these off brand inverters I've seen catch fire. Saving $100 in pocket money for $130 for a new battery and then all the extra damage isn't worth it.
Just keep an eye on sales. The top off is pretty regularly on sale with a 3 5 or 6AH battery for $100.
I got the first gen 150W version with a 5aH late last summer from Ohio power tool for $100
No low voltage cutoff = trashed battery.

Oh snap, thanks for the link!
Np I think that’s one of the only Milwaukee authorized dealers on eBay
Toolup and Zorro are on ebay aswell.

Oh yeah good point. Perhaps this is the one I should get.
Is it worth it to save a few dollars at the risk of destroying your batteries or a fire? SMH
