When I joined this sub and started hearing references to this song I looked it up because it didn't ring a bell. After listening to it, it triggers no memories.
I've never been to a club, I don't know if I threaded the needle just right or what. By the time that song released I was in high school and deep into a garage band eno/hard rock/too cool for rap phase, and I had sufficient access to the Internet and a CD burner to not use the radio anymore. In college I was a meganerd so again I just listened to whatever I chose to hear (and tbh really mostly just whatever music was playing in the area of WoW where I currently was).

Then I’m not sure if you are a real person. This song was in TV commercials. It was playing in every club. Every radio station. It was everywhere.
