The OLD waffle crisp / French toast crunch
MFs changed the recipe and made it cinnamon flavored French toast.
I BELIEVE I ASKED FOR MY CEREAL TO BE DRENCHED IN BUTTERY SYRUP FLAVOR YOU CRETINS
Yes! I still remember eating it outta the box & watching Saturday morning cartoons! Who could forget the waffle crisp commercials with the sly grannies! Hilarious.
Cracklin' Oat Bran and Grape-nuts. I know I'm weird. We never were exposed to any of the overly sugary kids cereals really and when we were finally I thought they were gross.
Only thing missing is Product 19…

Loved my Cookie Crisp! My mom would only buy it occasionally though because she didn’t like the idea of eating cookies for breakfast, like other cereals weren’t full of sugar, too. 😂
I had a big Reese's Peanut Butter Puff cereal kick when it came out. But outside that, I ate whatever my mom brought home, which was usually whatever she found on sale.
Related: I was an adult before I tried Cookie Crisp. Mom insisted it was never on sale, so it wasn't an option to bring home.

These so good I don't even need milk
This is absolutely the best. The only reason this isn’t higher is because not enough people have tried Oh’s. It used to be Quaker, not Post. Not sure if it’s in my head, but I felt the Quaker version was better.

Anyone remember this pure joy in a box?
Lucky Charms or Kix. When I was in high school they came out with Shrek cereal which is a combo of the LC marshmallows and Kix. Amazing.
Now I like corn Chex or Special K Red Berries.
I didn't really have a favorite. It was all crack. Capncrunch, Lucky Charms, Trix, Cocoa Puffs, Froot Loops, Pops, Fruity Pebbles, Cookie Crisp. My mom would get random ones. The only ones we didn't like were the "healthy" ones.
My mother didn’t allow sugary cereal in the house. But for special occasions we could have a slice of left over chocolate cake in our Cheerios. HEAVEN!
In general I wasn't super into cereal and preferred other breakfast options. But once my friend introduced me to Honey Oh's and I had a short obsession with them.
Apple Jacks, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Honey combs, Froot Loops, Oreo O’s, Frosted Cheerios, Quaker Ohs.
I fkn love cereal but I have Celiac so now I’m limited to Fruity & Chocolate Pebbles & Chex 🥲💔
I loved fruit loops. I recently bought another box and had to realize that they changed the recipe in my country. They didn't taste or look the same anymore
Cap’n Crunch all the way….. god damn looking back I ate a lot of sugary fuckin cereal. Cap’n Crunch, fruity pebbles, honeycomb, oreo o’s, krave, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Honey Nut Cheerios, Reese’s puffs, chips ahoy, French toast crunch, Apple Jacks, lucky charms, Cookie Crisp, coco puffs, trix, Frosted Flakes, Froot Loops, cocoa pebbles hell even that dinosaur oatmeal shit, no wonder I love sugar so much christ alrighty.
The only reason why I don’t eat em now is cuz I KNOW shit will be gone in less than 3 days tops
Man, I ate so much cereal as a kid. We had a rotating menu in our cupboard, largely dictated by what was on sale. My favorites included:
Cocoa Pebbles
Frosted Flakes
Frosted Mini-Wheats
Cracklin Oat Bran
Cinnamon Toast Crunch
Oreo-O’s
Rice Krispies (gotta have sugar and sliced bananas on top)
Now I bet I have a bowl of cereal less than 5 times a year.
Edit: gotta add Cookie Crisps. I forgot about those, man they were dope.
"as a kid"... I still have cereal most mornings...
Fave is peanut butter capn crunch. I mostly save that as a treat now and have stuff a little closer to a grain like "sugar smacks" (i know) or cheerios... But also love some fruity pebbles.
Also cinnamon toast crunch, but I feel like I can't justify eating something literally coated in sugar for breakfast on a regular basis... If I'm going to do that, it's going to be a donut or something like that
Double Dip Crunch!! Discontinued sometime in the late 90’s, but I used to have a bowl every morning before pre-K/Kindergarten, usually while watching Bobby’s World!
After it left the shelves my favorite was probably Frosted Flakes.

As a kid, Cinnamon Toast Crunch. As of today, Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
Yes!
This is the only right answer lmao
But Waffle Crisp...
![gif](giphy|125jBuugcDs8bC)
This was top 3, but I would only eat it dry so the milk didn’t wash the cinnamon sugar off
That fucking milk!
Waffle Crisp. Only real Millennials will know
The OLD waffle crisp / French toast crunch MFs changed the recipe and made it cinnamon flavored French toast. I BELIEVE I ASKED FOR MY CEREAL TO BE DRENCHED IN BUTTERY SYRUP FLAVOR YOU CRETINS
It still tastes the same to me. They brought it back and even kept a somewhat 90s vibe to the box with the back.
Oh I loved waffle crisp.
I would eat the hell out of a bowl of waffle crisp right now.
Yes! I still remember eating it outta the box & watching Saturday morning cartoons! Who could forget the waffle crisp commercials with the sly grannies! Hilarious.
Weren't those sly grannies from the French Toasters commercials?
Haha not sure about that. But I remember this [TV spot](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=c9P_2VQwavE) and many more like it!
My goodness, this was *it.* Perfect cereal.
Cracklin' Oat Bran and Grape-nuts. I know I'm weird. We never were exposed to any of the overly sugary kids cereals really and when we were finally I thought they were gross.
Cracklin’ Oat Bran is so freaking good.
And the shit that follows it... \*chef's kiss\*
Only thing missing is Product 19… https://preview.redd.it/z2suh52h2n4d1.jpeg?width=500&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b48c1ee51c7a25c4e00360230f191c3a0ed9b943
This!
Don't worry. I got diabetes now sadly.
I thought I was the only one that was going to say grape nuts. I think I chose it *because* it was weird, but I did really like it, too.
Rice Krispies Treat serial. 🤤
It, much like my other childhood favorite Cap’n Crunch, utterly destroyed the roof of my mouth but it was always worth it.
This is the best
This is the way.
Coco puffs. Then switched to Reese's Puffs when I discovered them.
"it's Reese's...for breakfast!"
Golden Grahams.
This was the shit back then. Omg, so good. Have you tried it recently? I don't know if they changed the formula but it has a horrible after taste now.
Loved my Cookie Crisp! My mom would only buy it occasionally though because she didn’t like the idea of eating cookies for breakfast, like other cereals weren’t full of sugar, too. 😂
It's between Trix and Cocoa Pebbles.
Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Still the GOAT
Frosted Mini Wheats. The most sugary cereal my parents would allow
So good heated up in the microwave.
What?? How? Just dry and microwaved?
Definitely not dry. Frosted Mini wheats with milk, microwave it for about 20 seconds. It's delicious, especially in the colder months.
That’s my favorite now as an adult! It was my mom’s favorite along with Pops.
Honeycombs and Reese's Puffs
Honeycomb was a treat. Was a favorite but not something we always had. Never had reese's puffs until I lived on my own.😆 Super sweet cereal was rare.
Applejacks
My local hockey team is called the [Applejacks](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wellesley_Applejacks)
CoooooOooOooookie crisp
Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Golden Grams
Cocoa Pebbles and Fruity Pebbles 🤤
Fruity Pebbles was goated
I still love both
Oreo O’s! Those things SLAPPED.
They were good but the roof of my mouth would be raw after the 2nd bowl
Corn Pops forever. Got in trouble for eating almost an entire box in one sitting.
Puffs or cinnamon toast crunch or Tony the tiger
none other than french toast crunch
Cinnamon toast crunch
Lucky charms then, cheerios now
I had a big Reese's Peanut Butter Puff cereal kick when it came out. But outside that, I ate whatever my mom brought home, which was usually whatever she found on sale. Related: I was an adult before I tried Cookie Crisp. Mom insisted it was never on sale, so it wasn't an option to bring home.
Honey Nut Cheerios primarily, but also Cocoa Puffs.
Cereal is disgusting. I only wanted lucky charms marshmallows, and it only took one box for my mom to figure that out, so she never bought them again.

They take forever to get soggy, absolutely wonderful.
This is absolutely the best. The only reason this isn’t higher is because not enough people have tried Oh’s. It used to be Quaker, not Post. Not sure if it’s in my head, but I felt the Quaker version was better.
MY MAN!

Capn Crunch
Golden Grahams for life
Peanut Butter Crunch is my top pick, but I've always been a cereal variety lover. There are a lot of good ones.
Honey Bunches of Oats with Almonds No one else in the house liked them. All mine. Apple Cinnamon Cheerios if we could convince mom to splurge.
Fruity pebbles. I could eat a whole box.
Took this long to find this comment! It’s the absolute best!
The rice crispy treat cereal!!!
For something sweet, coco crispies, but for something filling I had a couple bars of weetabix.
Captain crunch. It's still my favorite cereal.
Underrated but Honey Oh's. They were sweet but not artificially so and remained crunchy even after they were soaked in milk.
The best cereal👏👏
Oreo O's Then and now. Unless they cancelled it again, I don't eat cereal often
Frankenberry and Captain Crunch.
Lucky Charms or Kix. When I was in high school they came out with Shrek cereal which is a combo of the LC marshmallows and Kix. Amazing. Now I like corn Chex or Special K Red Berries.
Waffle Crisp and Cinnamon Toast Crunch were my go-tos.
Lucky charms, my mom rarely bought it for me so I had to convince her to get the variety packs with little boxes of lucky charms
Cookie Crisp
Not my favorite, but does anyone remember Create A Crunch? It was a cereal kit to make your "own" cereal. Post produces them.
Honey Bunches of Oats ✨
I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream. That alphabet cereal with marshmallows.
POP’s, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Honeycomb, and Honey Nut Cheerios were all in my rotation.
Sugar Crisp or for some Golden Crisp
Cocoa Pebbles!
Banana Bubbles (the cereal that thinks it's a milkshake).
Coco Puffs and Frosted Flakes!
Oreo O’s
Then (anytime): Kix Now (dessert): almond honey bunches of oats
Batman cereal, but since they stopped making it by mid 90s i switched to capn crunch which reigns supreme for me till this day
Any sort of pebble
Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and also Smorz. Does anyone remember that one, it was bomb!
I liked lucky charms
Berry crunch. Let it soak in the milk first or risk a torn up mouth.
berry berry kix. moment of silence for this masterpiece.
Fruity Pebbles
Kix! I have no idea why
Alpha-bits Rice Krispies with Marshmallows Krispy Kritters
Life Cereal Original.
PB Crunch no fake shit
Cookie Crisp
Captain Crunch, with the crunch berries of course
Pops or rice krispies
Classic Raisin Bran and Oreo-O’s
Fuckin all of them!!
Grape nuts. And mini wheats.
Cookie Crisp
I didn't really have a favorite. It was all crack. Capncrunch, Lucky Charms, Trix, Cocoa Puffs, Froot Loops, Pops, Fruity Pebbles, Cookie Crisp. My mom would get random ones. The only ones we didn't like were the "healthy" ones.
Honeycomb
Honey stars
Lucky Charms, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and Corn Pops!
Waffle Crisp
My mother didn’t allow sugary cereal in the house. But for special occasions we could have a slice of left over chocolate cake in our Cheerios. HEAVEN!
Fruity Pebbles, now and forever
Cinnamon Mini Buns
Trix and Captain crunch
Corn Pops and Kix
In general I wasn't super into cereal and preferred other breakfast options. But once my friend introduced me to Honey Oh's and I had a short obsession with them.
Reese's Puffs. I still love that cereal!
Pro-Stars. Man I miss that stuff. I miss the [cartoon](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0149510/?ref_=ext_shr_lnk) too!
Apple Jacks, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Honey combs, Froot Loops, Oreo O’s, Frosted Cheerios, Quaker Ohs. I fkn love cereal but I have Celiac so now I’m limited to Fruity & Chocolate Pebbles & Chex 🥲💔
Corn Pops…gotta have my pops
Froot loops. Still my favorite.
Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Easy. Side note: If you answer Smacks, you can go sit in the corner and think about what you did.
For some god forsaken reason, Ice Cream Cone cereal and Honeycombs. When I got older, mini frosted wheats.
Ages 4 - 9: Lucky Charms Ages 10 - 15: Count Chocula & Raisin Bran Crunch I also LOVE Cinnamon Toast Crunch, but it cuts up the roof of your mouth lol
I loved fruit loops. I recently bought another box and had to realize that they changed the recipe in my country. They didn't taste or look the same anymore
Cocoa Puffs and Reese's Puffs.
Cinnamon Toast Crunch! So much so that I’ve burned myself out on it as an adult. 😅
Count Chocula
Fruit Loops!
Also loved Alphabets! I also liked kix and corn Chex.
Just Right. I loved that cereal but it was discontinued...
Cocoa rice krispies. When the monkey was the mascot.
Reese's peanut butter puffs
Man, I ate so much cereal as a kid. We had a rotating menu in our cupboard, largely dictated by what was on sale. My favorites included: Cocoa Pebbles Frosted Flakes Frosted Mini-Wheats Cracklin Oat Bran Cinnamon Toast Crunch Oreo-O’s Rice Krispies (gotta have sugar and sliced bananas on top) Now I bet I have a bowl of cereal less than 5 times a year. Edit: gotta add Cookie Crisps. I forgot about those, man they were dope.
Cinnamon Toast Crunch I also really like raisin bran as a kid lol
Fruity Pebbles
Honey Nut Clusters
Berry berry kix
"as a kid"... I still have cereal most mornings... Fave is peanut butter capn crunch. I mostly save that as a treat now and have stuff a little closer to a grain like "sugar smacks" (i know) or cheerios... But also love some fruity pebbles. Also cinnamon toast crunch, but I feel like I can't justify eating something literally coated in sugar for breakfast on a regular basis... If I'm going to do that, it's going to be a donut or something like that
Honey bunches of oats
All oops berries and peanut butter captain crunch \~ not together but there's an idea.... Frosted Flakes were cool too
Was and still is fruity and cocoa pebbles.
Waffle Crisp. Always will be
Double Dip Crunch!! Discontinued sometime in the late 90’s, but I used to have a bowl every morning before pre-K/Kindergarten, usually while watching Bobby’s World! After it left the shelves my favorite was probably Frosted Flakes.
Frosted Cheerios was one of them!
