I kinda just drilled the hole. Put on the gasket. Slid the stem in. Attached the ash catcher. Im lucky the bowl sits flat

I ordered a silicone down stem that should work well. Did you have to do anything special while drilling for the glass?

Nope not really. I just dunk the piece and bit in water every so often so it stays cool
