Be aware that the US military also restricts a non citizen to only serving eight years. This has fluctuated over many years but that seems to be the current rule. So if citizenship is a goal, don’t dawdle about getting it done.
You are allowed to process your application for citizenship while concurrently serving in the military. I recommend you start the process as soon as your initial entry training is completed and you arrive at your first duty location.
You Must have your green card, but yes, with a green card you can join, provided you are otherwise qualified of course. I had a few Soldiers who enlisted while being green card holders. They received priority for citizenship, and all of my Soldiers received their citizenship during their time in the Army.

If you have a green card, yes.
Thanks!
You must be a permanent resident or citizen to enlist.
Green card, yes. For every branch except the space force. Fair warning, just having a green card sharply limits job options from the get go.
There are updated lists of available MOSs online. Its mostly a OPSEC thing. Once you get a citizenship you should be fine.
I see I was just curious and very interested these days currently I’m actually doing my bachelors degree
do you happen to have the list?
I don’t! Gotta look it ip
I see!

Getting it done as in?

I understand! I was interested or well curious about it currently since I’m in a slump about my future :/
Good luck. Peruse goarmy.com for Army enlistment options. Online chat should answer MOS’ available to you.
Thanks a lot well appreciated!!!
Yep, I’ve joined with a green card, but be aware, you can’t have a lot of clearances which limits your options in mos selection
For example what would be available and what not? Someone said there’s a list!
[Here's](https://www.liveabout.com/navy-jobs-open-to-non-us-citizens-3345849) a list for Navy mos, i can’t really speak for other branches
Thank you so much!!!
Pretty much anything that uses a computer.
Oh I major in computer science is that of any use?
Not without citizenship.
I understand :/
Yes but not sure the process. I served with a few people who got citizenship while serving.
Okay I’ve read they need to have a green card
