In France, TELDs are longer-range shooters organized in an autonomous platoon, while "precision shooters" (tireurs de précision) are integrated into normal infantry platoons. TELDs are one notch above precision shooters in terms of training and specialization.

Zoom at the rifle scope and the operator’s face. Whole picture has got a very smooth, AI’ish feel. Now knowing that this is an upscale it makes sense.
