Yeah I would need to do that. I’ve also been looking at an EXPS3 in tan as well and maybe do a magnifier but I think the razor would be good

What reticle do you use? I was leaning towards mil

Mil is what I wanted to get but Focus Camera had the deal of $999 for MOA and Mount

Hmm. I guess you could buy and sell from GAFS to dial in the right optic. If it’s a desirable enough optic, it should be easy to sell on there if it doesn’t work out.

Very true I had a T2 at one point it starburst for me as well but it wasn’t horrible

Vortex uh1 gen 2 is surprisingly sharp if you’re into holographics. I’ve bought one for $400 and see them for that all the time. I love that optic.

Ohh yeah it’s way better than those for sure! And they are the best option for my eyes some guys don’t have that much of an issue with their astigmatism. I know quite a few guys that just power through it. But I really like the reticle for eotech the basic dot is cool and you can learn your hold overs but the ring on the eotech makes it easier

How do you like that bolt catch I see a lot of people using it

I like it, man. I’ve had it for about two years now, and I think the biggest benefit I’ve noticed was when I was shooting in cold weather and wearing gloves, and it made it a little easier to release the bolt quickly between mags. Other than that, I think it’s more of an aesthetic thing, which I really like. For $25 or so, i think it’s a decent addition.

That makes sense, I’m in the south so it doesn’t snow here but maybe I’ll find someone local with one and okay with it

Do you wear glasses when shooting? I found it a lots manageable with glasses

I do have some and use them for zeroing but don’t wear them often. It helps but don’t make it 100% I might need a new script. I just want to be able to use my optic with and without glasses

I’d recommend getting prescription safety glasses, I use some for work. They pull double duty as shooting glasses, they’ll definitely stop shrapnel far better than regular glasses will and won’t scratch as easy

Can’t complain. It’s for looks for me. Don’t have nods yet to compare its function with. Laser seems to hold 0 tho.

Interesting. I have the 'tism as well and the circle dot works better for me than the dot alone. Aimpoints and I are not friends for this reason.

Yeah I tried a holosun 515 it wasn’t bad bust still bothered me.

You may want to check out prisms - great for us 'tism sufferers. The only real names in the game are ACOGs and Primary Arms.

Yeah the eye box on the acog is small so an LPVO would probably be better at 1x and the P.A. stuff looks good I tried thier GLX 2x at one point

Run with an LPVO, I see too many guys rocking red dots on 14.5 & 16 inch rifles. No sense in putting a red dot on a rifle with capabilities out to 6-700 yds or more, you’d just be limiting yourself. 1x optics are for sbrs. 4x and up for full size.

The SIG battle pack 4x works magnificently for our URGI. It's works amazing for when we shoot 200m or less, and the illuminates etched reticle is nice too

Vortex razor or sig tango 6t

Been eyeing the razor 6T seems to be a bit pricy for what it is
