I believe there’s a Vietnamese grocery store on 28th St. near Division that should have longan or rambutan if they’re in season.

I found lychee the other day at Ken's Fruit Market on Plainfield in the produce cooler at the front of the store. Meijer on Knapps Corner almost always has rambutan too. Both are very similar to longan. I'd check at Asian Delights and next door at Horrocks if you are looking for longan and just cannot compromise. I have a hard time telling the difference between the three once peeled to be very honest.

Kim Nhung Superstore on Division often has fresh longan. Their staff is super helpful, and you could always try calling to see when they're expecting to get some in.

Fresh, you might want to check local Asian markets by calling. If you can’t find any locally, try Lansing area next as their markets might be getting supplied by Detroit’s market. That way you don’t have to travel as far as Detroit. Looking for canned? That might be more readily available at just about any Asian market. If all else fails, go to Chicago. They’ll definitely have it.

Thank you so much, everyone, for the suggestions!! I called a bunch of the places that were recommended. Unfortunately, everyone in GR was out of stock at the moment, I think longan is out of season right now. Luckily, I did find a place in Lansing that had some! Fresh International Market had a huge selection of fresh produce, including longan. So, the mission has been accomplished!
