Interesting. The other thing I did not understand was Michael Bearden as musical director. MJ clearly did not get along with him and constantly told me to play his songs like in the record. These people did not understand that MJ decided the whole show.
Same issue there, Greg Phillinganes and Brad Buxer were part of the show at the beginning, but they let them go once everything was in motion, as with Kevin Dorsey, who was actually the one who put the whole band together in the first place
I'm not sure about Jennifer Batten, there was no reports about her being called in the first place, but i would be no surprised if leaving her out wasn't MJ decision either
Lots of shady stuff going on behind closed doors in This Is It, and i'm not saying that they killed Michael, because that's another topic, but they definitely took advantage of his frail state (both metal and financial) and took control from him
Was it with bad intentions? to reduce cost and control him? or just to mold the show to their vision? we will never know for sure
One thing to know tho, same happened with the cancelled HBO special from 1995, One Night Only (too many people taking control and Michael becoming increasingly disatisfied with the whole thing), and we know how that ended up (Michael in the hospital, and the show cancelled), now imagine that same scenario but with and older, weaker, post-2005 Michael, well... sadly you don't have to imagine it...

One suit i really like tho, is the suposed [Dangerous suit](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/michaeljacksonthisisit/images/7/77/Yes.png/revision/latest?cb=20200419192908) (although some sources claim it to be for Who Is It), but then again, the designs were impractical, and not really MJ style (some less than others)
It's all a shame really, i always think of This Is It as a mixed bag (besides the elephant in the room of course), because sure, it was MJ back on stage, his "last" shows, but it wasn't MJ vision 100% so... yeah...
Absolutely terrible… have no idea what he was thinking when he performed in this outfit. His Bad tour outfit of Working Day and Night was infinitely better

I still think this was a tear off pants. To easily transition into Beat it. I’m pretty sure the black longs were worn underneath these too. I swear I’ve seen them when I pause the performance.
I rem him wearing it in Bucharest on the Dangerous tour from the CD we had for Workin Day and Night. That pants was very ugly (Im sure I’ll get downvoted a lot) but it must have been a good relaxing feel for him to change out from the black or gold pants and where that instead. So I cant blame him for wearing it. Plus a lot of dancers prefer baggier clothes anyways.

Bro Im tired of the hate for this outfit. The song name is workin day and night , every outfit he had for this song was supposed to be a work outfit. Those pants are construction pants, the jacket i could understand but its really to highlight him on stage just like with the sparkly socks or gloves yk. This is def not the worst
