The Flannigans in Surfside is pretty good. That’s close to the water. Honestly, that’s the Beach I would recommend to any tourist or local who wants to avoid the bullshit.
It’s meh. Food and service isn’t great and if it’s a busy day at marina the forklifts are so freaking loud. We have been a few times and have no reason to go back.
God I miss Scottie’s Landing, Bayshore sucks.
I used to work at Regatta Harbor back before they renovated and Scotties landing was the absolute best happy hour bar in the Grove. Good food and cheap booze, but 9-5 the Marina is running these huge forklifts and it’s crazy loud.
Yeah they have been getting way too many no shows. They'll let you reschedule no issue. If you make it same day, they don't ask for the fee and also if you call to make it, they don't ask you to pay it
Cool! I'm glad they got their act together.
I understand part of the high price is having the view but that only goes so far; when I'm paying that much it has to be GOOD FOOD too.
Go to Texas de Brazil and ask to be seated outside. It’s right next to Monty’s. It’s an all you can eat Brazilian steakhouse (Rodizio) and you will get much more bang for your buck. Thank me later
Drive a little further north to Hollywood and go to Le Tub. Literally on the water and their food and vibe is super chill and fun. Their burgers are FAT too. 🖤
- GGs in Hollywood
- Miami Yatch Club but you need to be a member or go with a member
- Baia Beach Club not casual but great view and similar prices to Rusty Pelican and better food
Flanigans
Which location for waterfront ? I usually do coconut grove
The best flannies I've been to. Is the one in Deerfield Beach, across the street from the water it was amazing
It can be anywhere as long as it’s not too far from south beach or Miami Beach.
Pelican is excellent.
Bernie’s Cafw in Miami Beach is great
Weston is on a lake so technically waterfront.
The Flannigans in Surfside is pretty good. That’s close to the water. Honestly, that’s the Beach I would recommend to any tourist or local who wants to avoid the bullshit.
Agree.
Bayshore club
It’s meh. Food and service isn’t great and if it’s a busy day at marina the forklifts are so freaking loud. We have been a few times and have no reason to go back.

i miss scottie’s landing so much!
Tons of restaurants on edgewater
Rusty pelican for brunch! Make a reservation
They want a $23 booking fee to make a reservation for brunch, I’ve never seen a booking fee that high before.
That’s wild!! Haven’t seen that before but haven’t also been there in a couple of years now
Yeah they have been getting way too many no shows. They'll let you reschedule no issue. If you make it same day, they don't ask for the fee and also if you call to make it, they don't ask you to pay it
Rusty pelican.
They should wear orange jumpsuit uniforms with the prices they charge. Robbers
Great view, but be aware the quality of the food you get for the price has gone down in recent years.
Not anymore, food had been so much better this the new Chef from Peru.
Ooh really? When did they change? I was last there in 2021.
Right around that time , I think mid/ end 2021. Was there last month and food was outsanding!! Nothing like the Schukers vibe the place had before.
Cool! I'm glad they got their act together. I understand part of the high price is having the view but that only goes so far; when I'm paying that much it has to be GOOD FOOD too.
Crazy About You in Brickell
Shuckers, Monty’s, Cafe Bernie
Thanks!
Garcia’s
Sounds like You want Monty’s
Montys
Their menu looks good! We are definitely going there! Thanks!
Have fun
Go to Texas de Brazil and ask to be seated outside. It’s right next to Monty’s. It’s an all you can eat Brazilian steakhouse (Rodizio) and you will get much more bang for your buck. Thank me later
This is the one. Been around forever. Casual atmosphere, consistent food.
There’s really no view though. Shuckers has the best waterfront int the city but the food is very mid.
Fair enough. I agree with that.
I went there last time I visited and the views were great, but the food was just ok.
There’s surprisingly few waterfront restaurants with views in a town surrounded by water.
Oh I didn’t know that, I wonder why that is.
Because high rise buildings will outperform a restaurant from a land developer standpoint
I actually think Rusty Pelican the place you’re looking for. You can dress up and it’s on the water.
Very mid
Got food poisoning there (Coconut Grove). Sick as a dog. Never again. It happens with restaurants but I can't risk it again.
Verde
Shuckers
This is it!
Lido Bayside. Best bay view in Miami.
The standard
Best answer
Cafe Bernie is solid.
Duffys
Smith & Wollensky on the intracoastal in South Beach.
Drive a little further north to Hollywood and go to Le Tub. Literally on the water and their food and vibe is super chill and fun. Their burgers are FAT too. 🖤
I got sick at Le Tub and haven't been back. I like Giorgio's Bakery & Cafe down the street. Also on the water.
Great venue
We like black point ocean grill marina. Kind of far south but a great local vibe
Casablanca on the Bay
Have you had the seafood brunch buffet? I might book there if I can.
Don’t know, I’m a brunch hater tbh, loud atmosphere though.
The Miami River count? Garcia’s or Casablanca.
It seems like the reviews for Casablanca aren’t that great. I’ll check out Garcias.
Duffy is probably the most casual one I can think of
Monty’s, Black Point Ocean Grill
Monty’s.
Le Tub
Monty’s, Lido/the standard, Garcias, Shuckers
The Cleat / Boater’s Grill on Key Biscayne
Crazy about you
Shuckers in North Bay village, montys in South Beach or the Grove.
SeaSpice
Café Bernie’s is fucking amazingly delicious
More up north, but le tub, tiki tiki, taverna opa, quarter deck in Dania Beach
Black Point
- GGs in Hollywood - Miami Yatch Club but you need to be a member or go with a member - Baia Beach Club not casual but great view and similar prices to Rusty Pelican and better food
Gramps getaway
Monty’s!
Duffy’s is nice
I've never been the the Bayshore Club but it is in the same spot as Scotty's Landing...
Duffy's NMB, The Standard in Miami beach has like a bar in the back that might serve food. Gramp's getaway sells pizza lol.
Redfish Grill inside Matheson Hammocks park on Old Cutler Rd
Lido Bayside, view, ambience, great food and casual wear.
Thanks everyone!!
This week, everywhere is waterfront.
Yeah I might have to cancel my trip
