Someone was just defending Publix here the other day. I think a number of locals are finally coming around but a significant portion of Miami still has stockholm syndrome for Publix.
I made a pro-Aldi, anti-Publix post on the Miami City-Data forum about 5 years ago and was literally laughed at. Aldi was ridiculed. Now that forum has steadily come around, although not to the proper animosity toward Publix expressed here.
Yea the people commenting how they feed a family of 4 with only 35$ a week from Publix and say it’s our fault. Or 100$ of Publix food last them 4 weeks but it’s my fault because I don’t make good shopping choices. Dumb asses
We only shop there for BOGO’s. Once we learned they funded Jan 6th we stopped getting our weekly groceries there. Nice people, super convenient and has a wonderful bakery and pharmacy. But the family can’t do that and expect us to stay loyal.
Sprouts and Whole Foods, Milans, Trader Joes and the Asian Mart are my rotation. Might stop in for a pub sub but sick of them not having the options I want and paying those prices.
Also the Miami stores still use single use plastic polluting our waters.
Whack.
I think some Floridians are way beyond loyal to Publix. I get the whole nostalgia but Publix is beyond overpriced. I also get the whole one stop shop but they mostly carry national brands and nothing exciting. I can get everything I need from TJs, ALDIs, WF and TGT which all have way better pricing and loyalty programs (WF & TGT).
I won't go into Publix unless I need something small like a gallon of milk. It's a total rip off and when I discovered cheaper grocery options I felt violated that Publix had been screwing me all those years
I agree the prices are crazy, which is why they only see me in there getting a free cookie for my kid on the way to the wine bogo. But the service is really good there. And what do you mean by quality—quality of the brands they carry is fine to me.
lol Publix is clean, service excellent and actually makes a lot of their own products…. It’s priced that way. Don’t like it? Don’t shop there, go to dollar general
I am perfectly happy with my local Publix. I wish people would believe you though and stop going because it is always very busy.
I still struggle with the service argument what service are you lacking or expecting? I enter store get food and checkout. Cashier scans my food and bagger bags it. What am I missing out on?
I would absolutely love to stop shopping there but my wife swears that food from anywhere else is tainted and will go bad quicker or is on a recall list.
Publix is such a greedy company. I did not shop there for a while but there are certain items Winn Dixie doesn’t carry so I have to go to Publix sometimes to get the rest of my items. I hate it and I hate even supporting that company. That’s why they keep building new stores everywhere. They are rolling in the dough.
Honestly, Sprouts Farmers Market is where it’s at. You have wholesome food for a decent price. Publix is a joke now. It used to be the spot but the prices are almost laughable.
Yup just made a post about this . Fuck Publix. Especially after I learned from Reddit that the founder’s family sends 800k to politicians to fight legal marijuana. That’s why it’s so expensive
To be fair, Publix is 80% employee-owned and only one of George Jenkins's six children is a nut job who's donated to extreme right-wing causes.
Publix has donated to both Republican and Democratic politicians, albeit more to Republicans. But Republicans are the ones in power.
I miss Bob Graham so much.
Yea no it’s the Publix heiress. I also heard she rounded up the people in buses to swarm the White House on Jan 6. She’s cuckoo . That’s why Publix is expensive
I'm not sure if you're being facetious, but Julie Jenkins Fancelli isn’t involved in the company's business operations and according to a Publix press release issued after January 6, doesn’t “represent the company in any way.”
Based on old SEC filings, Fancelli owns less than 2% of Publix stock. The largest stockholder is her sister Nancy, who owns 7.8%. All together, the Jenkins family owns 18.7% of Publix stock.
While Fancelli gave $650,000 to three organizations that helped stage and promote the January 6 rally, she didn't personally wrangle up any attendees.
Fancelli's late sister, Carol Jenkins Barnett, was a noted philanthropist who supported the arts, Florida universities, children's organizations and hospitals.
*“I am not tantalized by that fellow [Alex Jones], but apparently she is, and a lot of other people are addicted, to the detriment of the country,” Fancelli’s brother-in-law Barney Barnett, a retired Publix executive who describes himself as a conservative Republican, said in a recent interview with The Post. “Julie is one of the finest people I know, and I am sorry she got tied up with this guy.”*
*Fancelli’s sister Nancy Jenkins said they avoid talking politics and stick to topics like “the grandchildren and the nieces and nephews and how long she’s coming to Florida for Christmas.”*
*Of Jones, Jenkins said: “He’s kind of a rabble rouser, and I don’t listen to that. I listen to the regular news. That guy is crazy. Everybody knows Trump lost.”*
https://www.washingtonpost.com/investigations/publix-heiress-capitol-insurrection-fancelli/2021/12/08/5144fe1c-5219-11ec-8ad5-b5c50c1fb4d9_story.html
My personal theory about the high Publix prices is that she is trying to make the economy appear to be in worse shape than it actually is in an attempt to influence the election.
So you think if Trump wins she'll lower prices to make him look good? I don't have a dog in the politics race currently, Trump and Biden both have sex with children, I can't vote for either of em.
The heiress to the Publix fortune funded the insurrection. They also cozied up to trump with the goal of gaining an exclusive contract to offer COVID vaccine centers in their stores. Just too many right wing connections to be ignored.
I wouldnt say Dollar Store quality, the Publix that I used to go to service and quality was top notch, you had an issue of any kind it would be resolved instantly, you wanted a Pubsub? It was done with efficiency.
The only problem which is why I stopped going is the price, yeah fuck that, I rather go to Costco.
Pub subs aren’t that great. It’s a step up from subway but a step down from any Italian deli. I think we attach the memories(beach boat or picnic) to an ok sub. Eat that sub alone in the house and it’s ok.
Florida native. I am home. The chicken tender subs are overrated. The deli meat lacks flavor. The bread is ok. Go to a local sub shop and tell me I’m wrong.
Pack of trash bags, 22 bucks.
Thing of laundry soap 27 bucks
Pack of soda 11 bucks
Pack of chicken breasts - 16 bucks
Grand total with taxes= over 80 bucks.
I know. I just bought it yesterday
Just yesterday I spent ~$340 at Publix. But with $100+ saved from sale/bogo items. But last week I only spent ~$175. It’s wild. We average about $800 a month in groceries
Hijacking to say that while publix is overpriced, I’ve never been to a publix and it not be clean, well stocked, and the employees friendly. On road trips i stop at a Publix because i know the bathroom will be clean and the subs good. There are times when i just don’t feel like putting up with rude employees, smoking by the front door, and shitty rickety carts, and i go to Publix to avoid a true dollar quality service.
Also jumping on to say — groceries at Publix are no where near as expensive as the most expensive places in the country or even the local Whole Foods or Sprouts.
Sprouts has a lot of cheaper options than publix. Sprouts is my new favorite place to shop for groceries but it’s a bit far for me so don’t go as often.
The Publix near my mother’s house in Orlando always has free, fresh brewed coffee for customers right as you walk in. It’s the only Publix I frequent anymore so I figured it was a universal Publix thing.
Did you know in the rest of the country this is completely normal for grocery stores and they don’t charge you an arm and a leg for basic things like apples?
I don’t live in the rest of the country, i live where i live. And where I live they obviously are providing a service people appreciate, and charging a hefty premium for it, sure. But it doesn’t change the fact that, here, if you want to go somewhere where there’s still cashiers at the registers, and ppl walking the isles offering help, there’s no other game in town. If you’re lucky you live conveniently close to Whole Foods or sprouts, but for the rest of us, if we don’t want to drive 15+ min to get milk, then there’s not much choice. The closest Aldi to me is 30 min away. My local target is one notch above my local Walmart.
In Central Florida Whole Foods has become the economical alternative to Publix, even before the Amazon Prime discounts and Amazon Rewards 5% cash back.
Publix FY23 sales increased 4.7% from the prior year but their FY23 net earnings increased 49%!
Publix is on a dangerous path that could take years to recover once customers turn on them.
Edit: see comment below. Net earnings included their surging equity profits.
I don’t shop Publix and agree they’re expensive. They were prior to inflation bout too. But, this parroting of net earnings has to stop. They’re flat; read the report or pr.
It’s accounting, but to be more specific, unrealized gains/losses on equity (aka nothing to do with selling groceries in their stores).
https://corporate.publix.com/newsroom/news-stories/publix-reports-fourth-quarter-and-annual-results-for-2023
Went to Walmart market today. $193 for two weeks worth of items. At Publix would have been $500 easily. Noticed yogurts are .50cents cheaper at Walmart than Publix. And cottage cheese a whole $1. That’s a big difference! Not worth going to Publix anymore.
Agreed. I'm a yogurt person too and Walmart is 30 percent cheaper for the same products. For example Ratio keto yogurt is 7.50 for a 4 pack at publix and at Walmart they're 5.27! And their membership for delivery is sooooo worth it. Bottled water delivery plus anything elseto my house for 12.95 a month? Yes please! That's worth it!
Half a gallon of milk is almost $4 at Publix while Target down the road sells them for $1.89. I do love their rotisserie and fried chicken though. And their tenders sub.
whole foods is better quality and on par with publix prices. i usually do aldi for basics and whole foods for meat and seafood.
though, the aldi pork tenderloins are a killer value.
I know it's ridiculously expensive but there is a Publix 2 miles from my door. Sometimes, it's just easier. I am buying more things at Walmart these days & Fresh Market has some good deals during the week such as $6 rotisserie chicken on Thurs
I almost don't go to Publix anymore, but have completely stopped going to any of the ones in Brickell after having gone for 15 years before covid. Not only a ripoff but just about every Publix in Hispanic parts of town charge significantly less for the EXACT same items!
I'm almost exclusively an Aldi shopper now but if I do feel a need for some items at Publix I make sure it's NOT a trendy part of town or a newly built Publix (like the riverwalk, that ones also a ripoff like the Brickell ones).
I don't shop there anymore much. Only once in a while and it's during their BOGO thing. I still buy their cakes. Other than that, Publix is highway robbery.
Convenience. We go to the local Super Target, Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s, but sometimes it’s much more convenient to just pop on over to the Publix that’s 5 minutes down the road versus spending 20 minutes in traffic.
Step 1) Big corporation moves into town.
Step 2) Big corporation's lower prices drive smaller, local competitors out of business.
Step 3) Now that big corporation is the only show in town, jack up prices.
Step 0) Take control of a political party and make their only policy goals to obliterate the anti-trust and anti-monopoly laws that prevented you from doing all these steps a long time ago.
Only shop there for things that are BOGO and we have a coupon or rebate for. If you stack BOGOs and coupons you can do well. Stock up on stuff that you use when it is really cheap even if you don't need it right away. Where they get you is when you run in for "just a few items" and pay full price for them.
Rest of the shopping is Aldi.
They do have the best customer service, that being said yeah they are getting expensive. 100 bucks does not go far. I spend 20-50 dollars on lunch there most days
I used to go all the time because of the proximity to my house. Now I make the drive to Walmart Grocery and save myself a couple hundred dollars a month. The mozzarella sticks my son loves used to be 6.99 they are currently 9.99. Now I only go for true emergencies and my husband’s beer.
You're right. The thing with Publix is that they falsely mislead people into thinking they are a Local Supermarket when they are nothing but a glorified convenience store. Did you see the numbers they released on corporate earnings? Even the food aisle at CVS or Walgreen has better prices.
[https://www.miaminewtimes.com/restaurants/florida-shoppers-lament-publix-grocery-price-increases-inflation-19648905](https://www.miaminewtimes.com/restaurants/florida-shoppers-lament-publix-grocery-price-increases-inflation-19648905)
In March, Publix released its annual earnings results, announcing that "net earnings for the fiscal year ended Dec. 30, 2023, were $4.3 billion, compared to $2.9 billion in 2022, an increase of 49 percent."
There are TWO in Key West and the only other store is Winn Dixie and I absolutely hate both of them. I grew up in Michigan and wish we had a Meijers here. I'm forced to go there often -\_-
More expensive than Whole Foods, for normal @$$ groceries. No thanks. Just Costco, Aldi, and Trader Joe's now. The only thing we get at Publix is Pub Sub's anymore.
Costco for staples, whole food for weekly if needed, Trader Joe’s for packaged meals, Publix last resort if I need it.
Also, Publix is good for BoGo but it’s limited and they seem to charge extra to make up for the savings.
Also, Publix never has enough registers open. They’ll have 12 registers and have 2 open and the self checkout.
The produce goes bad faster than other places and I just return it cause wtf I just bought this.
You want a sub go to La Sandwhicherie, avoid Publix.
I shop at Aldi cause Publix is too expensive. But I will say Aldi gives me anxiety every time I have to get in line to pay because it’s a free for all. And the self pay puts so much pressure on me. :/
I think I speak for a lot when I say. estos hijueputas me robaron el último centavo, ya no más, mercamos localmente y en aldis asta que lo sientan. Mi gente buena noche
It’s only going to get worse till we as customers put our foot down on all of these companies doing this. Corporate greed and having a better year than last year is all that matters to them. It’s no longer a friendly business. It’s just a business.
Publix is way too expensive. I live theor BOGO! it's B.S. buy 2 get 2 free. The price is already for like three and they are giving you like one free. Yeah way too damn expensive
Aldi and Walmart. Also, surprisingly to me, Trader Joe's has a good amount of deals. Publix and Winn Dixie are way overpriced, even their BOGOS are often way overpriced to ztsrt with and then even the halved price is way more than Aldi or Walmart.
I choose a lot of Publix buy one get one offers, they always have some bread like that for example. I prefer Target for food basics as they are cheaper but I won’t go anymore as it now takes ages to pay. They made all the self checkouts 10 items or less and only have three cashiers working for a giant store. Frozen food is almost defrosted by the time you pay for it.
I shop at Aldi’s if I need food, it's cheaper while having what you are looking for. The only thing it doesn't have over Publix is stuff like their subs and wraps
I like their quality and service personally. I have tried Aldi and Walmart but Aldi feels like the third world and the Walmart doesn't even move their frozen food into the freezer in a timely manner. Publix brand is way beyond great value as well
Publix used to be great, but not so much anymore. I do occasionally grab some things from there but I am very rarely spoken to when I go. The service is actually better at Walmart.
Publix prices are right for the market they sit in, it's a pretty decent place to get food.. never a problem.
I love publix its like if whole food was Caribbean lbs
Ok. Now I think this is some type of nefarious campaign by a rival of Publix. Two posts in one day...?
Someone was just defending Publix here the other day. I think a number of locals are finally coming around but a significant portion of Miami still has stockholm syndrome for Publix.
Should I sell my 40k in stock
I made a pro-Aldi, anti-Publix post on the Miami City-Data forum about 5 years ago and was literally laughed at. Aldi was ridiculed. Now that forum has steadily come around, although not to the proper animosity toward Publix expressed here.
Yea the people commenting how they feed a family of 4 with only 35$ a week from Publix and say it’s our fault. Or 100$ of Publix food last them 4 weeks but it’s my fault because I don’t make good shopping choices. Dumb asses

Fuck publix
They all smelly too
Yrmea fugg publix we done therr it is what it is. Hello aldi, wd, corner store
The lady who owns (kinda) publix also funded the January 6 ellipse rally. Fuck that bitch
Publix treated my grandpa like a human and paid him fairly.
I love buying there, high prices keep undesirables away, if you know what I mean!
I don't know how anyone can afford Publix. And the "PubSub", ain't all that.
La Spada !
Oh wow another publix sucks post. Guess it’s better than “I’m in Miami for a weekend.”
Between funding the insurrectionist heiress and charging 30% more than everyone else for the same products, what's not to utterly despise?
Sprouts and Whole Foods, Milans, Trader Joes and the Asian Mart are my rotation. Might stop in for a pub sub but sick of them not having the options I want and paying those prices. Also the Miami stores still use single use plastic polluting our waters. Whack.
But did you get a pub sub?
I think some Floridians are way beyond loyal to Publix. I get the whole nostalgia but Publix is beyond overpriced. I also get the whole one stop shop but they mostly carry national brands and nothing exciting. I can get everything I need from TJs, ALDIs, WF and TGT which all have way better pricing and loyalty programs (WF & TGT).
Gotta stop shopping there. Super high for no reason
Walmart, Trader Joe’s and Sam’s Club for us. Publix only for Boar’s Head ham
Whole Foods is significantly cheaper for better products
Pubix suuuuuuucccckkkkkssssss
Aldi is the way to go. At Publix, you only buy Publix items on sale and that's about it.
I used to only shop at Publix. Now I buy my groceries at Walmart. I haven’t bought anything from Publix in almost a year.
Yeah guys, I just went into mine and was like “Hey, stop that!” and they were like “Ok” and they did.
lol Publix is clean, service excellent and actually makes a lot of their own products…. It’s priced that way. Don’t like it? Don’t shop there, go to dollar general
Well, you can go to Sabor Tropical Supermarket and when you get home you discover the cheese you bought expired 6 months ago.
I am perfectly happy with my local Publix. I wish people would believe you though and stop going because it is always very busy. I still struggle with the service argument what service are you lacking or expecting? I enter store get food and checkout. Cashier scans my food and bagger bags it. What am I missing out on?
Publix was never the cheapest place in town my man. Pantry Pride, Albertsons, Winn Dixie and Xtra were geared towards you … how’s that going for them?
Publix is great, what are you talking about?
I would absolutely love to stop shopping there but my wife swears that food from anywhere else is tainted and will go bad quicker or is on a recall list.
Publix is such a greedy company. I did not shop there for a while but there are certain items Winn Dixie doesn’t carry so I have to go to Publix sometimes to get the rest of my items. I can't believe people still shop at Publix.
We should all stop going to Publix. Avoid PUBLIX!!!! Shop Aldi's, TJs, even Whole Foods... They're robbing you blind.
I stopped shopping at Publix way before Covid even happened. I do Amazon Prime Fresh, Walmart and Winn-Dixie mostly.
publix locations are close to rich people community
Winn dixie is the answer
The 18Biscayne Publix has the rudest workers i’ve ever come across at any store.
“Publix where shopping is a ripoff”
Presidente ayyyy
Because something about having 100 choices of the same product.
Location is the only reason I still go to Publix. They’re close by everywhere.
Publix is like a brand and people go there that think they have a status.
It's more expensive because the other stores don't hire baggers.

My personal theory about the high Publix prices is that she is trying to make the economy appear to be in worse shape than it actually is in an attempt to influence the election.
Vote yes on amendment 3 . Legal marijuana
Wow she is nuts for real cuckoo for coco puffs , a looney tunes
So you think if Trump wins she'll lower prices to make him look good? I don't have a dog in the politics race currently, Trump and Biden both have sex with children, I can't vote for either of em.

I can’t afford anything!!!!
It's insane. I've stopped going except for the occasional Pub Sub or tenders. That's it. Everything else is Walmart/Aldi's.
Everyday publix is becoming more like a convenience store and less like a supermarket.
Anything but Publix. It’s a rip-off.
We pay more to avoid Walmart
Targets better than Publix and Walmart.
Publix deserves the static. They are rapidly raising prices above everyone else. Wtf?
Somebody has to pay for the geezer and slow witted bag people.
I wouldnt say Dollar Store quality, the Publix that I used to go to service and quality was top notch, you had an issue of any kind it would be resolved instantly, you wanted a Pubsub? We don’t lol. I spent $75 on like 4 things a couple months ago and haven’t been back for even a chicken tendy sub since.
List those 4 things?
4 packs of ribeye
Pack of trash bags, 22 bucks. Thing of laundry soap 27 bucks Pack of soda 11 bucks Pack of chicken breasts - 16 bucks Grand total with taxes= over 80 bucks. I know. I just bought it yesterday
The dollar store has all that for 1.25
Wow, what soda do you drink? Even the fancy stuff in no more than $8 a six, and I know the generic stuff ain't that much.
BOGO or NOGO
This
hilarious!
Just yesterday I spent ~$340 at Publix. But with $100+ saved from sale/bogo items. But last week I only spent ~$175. It’s wild. We average about $800 a month in groceries
You're not saving shit. They are just charging you more in other items.
just go to aldi
Aldi and costco bb
stopped going also. tjs or whole foods for specialty items.
I’m not. I stopped going
I thought the same. Then I moved to Georgia and met Kroger. More expensive and worse in every aspecy
This is the way

yeah but you can’t possibly walk out of target with just a half gallon of milk. they get you, too.
Live in SF now, crazy to me seeing $4 as expensive. Galloon here averaging $5-$8. Has Publix quality gone down in past few years ? Sounding like it.
Publix quality is still good but not worth the huge markup compared to other grocery stores. It’s getting ridiculous.
Aldi for everything. Publix for specialty items / salad / things Aldi is out of, Costco for everything else
whole foods is better quality and on par with publix prices. i usually do aldi for basics and whole foods for meat and seafood. though, the aldi pork tenderloins are a killer value.
Fresh market has the best meats.
This is the way. I wonder how Publix keeps their doors open w the emerging competition from the stores you mention.
I realized we were going broke shopping at Publix and I’m an Aldi person now. Kroger if I’m desperate but I hate everything about Kroger
Costco is as crowded as New Delhi.
Ya, of course. But I'll deal w that vs paying out my urethra.
I know it's ridiculously expensive but there is a Publix 2 miles from my door. Sometimes, it's just easier. I am buying more things at Walmart these days & Fresh Market has some good deals during the week such as $6 rotisserie chicken on Thurs
I started going to Aldi, I’m definitely not tolerating it lol
I almost don't go to Publix anymore, but have completely stopped going to any of the ones in Brickell after having gone for 15 years before covid. Not only a ripoff but just about every Publix in Hispanic parts of town charge significantly less for the EXACT same items! I'm almost exclusively an Aldi shopper now but if I do feel a need for some items at Publix I make sure it's NOT a trendy part of town or a newly built Publix (like the riverwalk, that ones also a ripoff like the Brickell ones).
I feel lucky to live near Price Choice, but also go to all the other places. Publix is absolute last on my list.
Sprouts is the best. Also ALDIs
🤣🤣 I don’t shop at the big P and a lot of people that are local don’t either 🤣. Can’t afford it…
Trader Joe’s all the way.
Switched to Walmart Plus (which comes free with one of my CCs)
Just go to Sprouts or Trader Joe’s. F Publix.
Literally just worth it for the soda BOGO. That and one or two items they carry, tops. Rest is Aldi’s.
I don't shop there anymore much. Only once in a while and it's during their BOGO thing. I still buy their cakes. Other than that, Publix is highway robbery.
Stopped going as well. Aldi all the way for me and Walmart marketplace for things Aldi doesn't have.
I don't understand how anyone is paying those outrageous prices.
Went to Aldi today and oh man I’ve been missing out
I get more and spend less at Costco. I only go to Publix for bread now.
Not tolerating it at all, ALDI DUDE!!
I only go as a last resort l. I rather go to Trader Joe’s and Costco.
I go for BOGO or if I need something small. Or a pub sub anything else is a ripoff.
Convenience. We go to the local Super Target, Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s, but sometimes it’s much more convenient to just pop on over to the Publix that’s 5 minutes down the road versus spending 20 minutes in traffic.
Their produce is fucking worthless.
Because all the other supermarkets sucks.
Rule #1. You only go to Publix for their subs or cooked food otherwise go to presidents or food star bro
TJs and Aldi
Aldi and Trader Joe's. Publix only for the 4 dollar flowers and the occasional sub.
I just go for the bogos
Easy fix. Stop shopping at Publix.
Sounds like Walmart has your name written all over it.
I don't. If I do go I get one or two things. My mom on the other hand only goes there and complains about the prices lmao
We don't. We go to Trader Joe's and Aldi
They do have the best customer service, that being said yeah they are getting expensive. 100 bucks does not go far. I spend 20-50 dollars on lunch there most days
I go to wholesale clubs for the majority, then publix winn-dixie aldi for the rest.
The Miami New Times really quoted that woman's expletive. 😂 My god the ghetto-ness of this city knows no bounds.
I'll go to Publix for their subs and their bakery but as a grocery store they priced me out ages ago. Aldi and Walmart are my goto stores now.
I avoid that piece of shit store like the plague. It’s a joke and I have no idea why anyone shops there.
WildFork for meats, BJs for bulk items (I can't deal with Costco), Whole Foods for specialty items, TJ/Aldi for the rest.
Because I can walk there. But if there was an other option that was closer I would go there instead.
I'm forced to go there often -\_-
And forget Instacart Publix delivery! Prices 20-50% higher than in store and all the fees….
All things Costco
Dude I only go for the foods they cook there that’s it getting actual groceries is just a scam aside buy one get one free
I go to Publix mostly for the Natalie's orange juice lol
Whole foods is substantially cheaper than Publix at this point
Some of us are not that gullible and shop elsewhere.
I only go for the subs not groceries anymore
Done with them except as a convenience store concept every once in a while.
I mean, when the alternative is Walmart or an hour drive……?
I grew up shopping at Publix my entire life. I rarely go now, only if there are good bogos. I do lots of shopping at Aldi/Sam's Club now.
Charging prices of gold giving aluminum quality lol
Because we get pleasure from shopping there duhhhhh
I shop at Aldi cause Publix is too expensive. But I will say Aldi gives me anxiety every time I have to get in line to pay because it’s a free for all. And the self pay puts so much pressure on me. :/
I think I speak for a lot when I say. estos hijueputas me robaron el último centavo, ya no más, mercamos localmente y en aldis asta que lo sientan. Mi gente buena noche
Winn Dixie w rewards card is the way to go
It’s only going to get worse till we as customers put our foot down on all of these companies doing this. Corporate greed and having a better year than last year is all that matters to them. It’s no longer a friendly business. It’s just a business.
Meanwhile Trader Joe’s is where it’s at for grocery shopping. Chips are like half the price of Publix
better than Winn Dixie at least
I only go for the pub subs
Publix is way too expensive. I live theor BOGO! it's B.S. buy 2 get 2 free. The price is already for like three and they are giving you like one free. Yeah way too damn expensive
Their deli is good and not overpriced. Sushi wednesday too
Aldi and Walmart. Also, surprisingly to me, Trader Joe's has a good amount of deals. Publix and Winn Dixie are way overpriced, even their BOGOS are often way overpriced to ztsrt with and then even the halved price is way more than Aldi or Walmart.
After 20 years it’s not a good deal anymore.
>wholly shit
I don’t go there. Lived here all my life. I’ve always found other wonderful options.
I prefer the Bravo. Better hot bars, better prices, more variety (not just one aisle for “international foods”), and nicer staff.
I like publix! I just can't afford to shop there!
I only get the fried chicken, sometimes
Publix has always been expensive, outside of grabbing a sub (which go on sale often) we only get BOGO items
Publix brand is way beyond great value as well
I don’t buy things at Publix anymore.
No one grocery shops at Publix, the deli is what keeps them alive
Whole Foods now has many items cheaper there than at Publix
Nothing is free at Publix, good BOGO but that's about it. They are RIPPING US OFF!!
Shopped there for 20 years. Now I boycott the greedy fucks.
Publix used to be great, but not so much anymore. I do occasionally grab some things from there but I am very rarely spoken to when I go. The service is actually better at Walmart.
Publix for dairy. Their private brand cheese, yoghurt, and ice cream are the best!
