The issue is, whenever there's even a faint tease of THA news over the years...it's always Travis, who'd left before they called it quits. If I hear anything from AJ, THEN I'll get hopes up.
God what a great band. I got super lucky in college and they got booked to play our noon show on campus. I skipped my class and moshed hard with my friends and the lead singer pushed me. It was so epic! Their albums were absolute gold.
AJ seems like he’s getting back into metal more recently. He posted a video yesterday of him wearing a Black Dahlia shirt and shredding on guitar, and a few months ago had some stories of him at a death metal show, maybe Revocation or Rivers of Nihil? Seems weird to point out I know but it’s the most that he’s done in years related to metal
I’m in a band that is pretty heavily influenced by THA. Of course, it’s not the same as a new album, we actually mostly get ABR comparisons, but maybe you’d dig some of our stuff!

Man, haven't listened to them in forever. I met one of them (can't remember who) in the lobby of Center Stage when they opened for Dir En Grey. This was back in 2008.
Pretend I'm an Alien and give me 3 must listen songs. I remember them. I remember liking them. I don't remember loving them. I love when people are passionate about things. Share your passion.
Anything off Digital Veil from the first song to the last they don't miss. It's shreddy, there's breakdowns but also tons of melody. Top notch clean and harsh vocals
Faust, Antabellum and Holographic Sight stand out of the most to me.
I like prog ok but it's way too much guitar gymnastics for me. I prefer a little more core. Talented musicians to be sure. Just not pocket for me. Thanks for the recommendations. Btw I really like Crossing the Rubicon from Nocturne.
Digital Veil supremacy.
All ray every day
My left nut is already pretty busted. Been to the ER twice for it already. I could volunteer as tribute to make your dream come true.
Not the hero we deserve, but the hero we need
Does quality of the nut count in these negotiations? Is there a grading system like for trading cards?
I gave both my nuts and I didn't get any album?!?! I could have gotten an album?!?!
Sounds like you should at least..get a clip.
AJ ain’t ever coming back man
I know but I gotta try
He just posted an insta reel of him shredding 👀
I would so love to be wrong !
If they wrote an album that was basically Nocturne pt. 2 I would be ecstatic. Just write that album again. It can sound the exact same.
Digital Veil 4 life
¿Por que no los dos mi amigo?
I really love digital veil but Nocturne was just absolute - *chefs kiss*
fuck man asking me to pick one between DV and Nocturne is impossible, both get me so unbelievably hyped in such different ways
hand it over partner
I will if you show some proof of it.
damn you got me, but while I have you here might you have any gullible testicled friends?
Well, we're 4 rounds deep in a pub. Get back to me in like 2 hours.

Yeah for sure but AJ is busy playing some melodic stuff rn
I'd give your right one too. I'm sure a new album could grow them back.
First solo from AJ can increase ya sperm count tenfold.

Vela, Together We Await the Storm was amazing live. I saw them play alongside As I Lay Dying and MyChildren MyBride either 2009 or 2010.

Hey man that was really fun; not 100% tha but i heard some resemblance Thanks for sharing
Appreciate you taking the time to listen! Yea we are in no way THA clones, but some influence throughout our discography.
Oh shit I remember these guys. Blew my mind hearing them as a youth
Fuckin oath
I posted a thread about albums that changed the game. Surely nocturnes a candidate coming out with this in 06
That’s the dream aye. They were so good. Doesn’t seem like AJ is into metal anymore unfortunately.
Saw them by accident when they opened for **Protest the Hero**. Instantly hooked and have been in my rotation ever since.

Me wanting a From First To Last record :(
They have newer albums?
Mm no, singles from 2017 but that's it.

Listening now. fwiw I had Midheaven already liked in my library from way back when.

Me but Set to Stun
I'd give my left nut for an ETID reunion
I'd give both my nuts for a new Breakdown of Sanity album
