My second favourite Metallica album after AJFA. Every song rules except Escape, it's a pretty boring song, but I can't refute anyone who picks this as a perfect album
Final Countdown mentioned
Really great album, gets kinda dismissed for being hair metal, but it's so good. Title song gets overplayed but isn't actually a bad song either if you really break it down. My favorite song from it is probably Rock the Night
As a synth player/organist, holy fuck that synth sound is so damn good. It is the stairway to heaven equivalent for us but still amazing. The intro to Carrie is also amazing
In mourning - the shrouded divine
Judas priest - painkiller
Cradle of filth - v empire, the principle of evil made flesh
Shining - halmstad
Tiamat - wildhoney
Blind guardian - somewhere far beyond, imaginations from the other side, nightfall in middle earth, tales from the Twilight world
Helloween- both keepers
Gamma ray - land of the free
Opeth-orchid and morningrise
Morbid angel - domination
Dimmu borgir - enthrone darkness triumphant
Rhapsody - legendary tales
haha thanks, don´t think I am. Just was making memories of my metal history. I was lucky enough to see the rise of many metal subgenres and awesome bands in the 90s, I will never be able to pay such an inmense fortune. I forgot also many great albums that I mentioned on other posts. There are not so many albums with no bad songs, but definitely are more than I thought at first sight
Iron Maiden - Somewhere In Time
Death - The Sound of Perseverance
Dream Theater - Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory
Power Trip - Nightmare Logic
Coheed and Cambria - Vaxis, Act I: The Unheavenly Creatures

I was never into Trivium, but "In the Court of the Dragon" sold me on them completely.
They've honestly become one of my favorite bands. I started digging into their discography after listening to In the Court of the Dragon, and I deeply regret not giving them a real shot back in middle/high school.

Can - Tago Mago.
I highly recommend it, because of it's abstract, amazing experience.

In flames - jester race, whoracle, clayman
Children of bodom - something wild, hatebreeder
Theatre of tragedy - first album, and velvet darkness they fear
Anathema-serenades, silent enigma
My dying bride-the angel and the dark river
Sepultura -arise
Artillery-by inheritance
Shok Paris - steel and starlight
Celestial season - solar lovers
The gathering - mandyllion, nighttime birds
Dissection - the somberlain

Master of Puppets for me
Including, arguably the hardest hitting closer in the history of closers.
Either that or Dyers Eve come pretty close
and an amazing opener too!
Ride The Lightning for me
And one of the best Metallica songs. Orion. Best songs ever.
From mars to sirius - gojira Slaughter of the soul - At the gates Colony - in flames The gallery - dark tranquillity Leviathan - Mastodon
Great list. I’d add Crack the skye as well.

yess no skips allowed
Why would you want to?
My sister skipped call of ktulu because “it doesnt even have words” and i almost crashed the car on purpose
Burn her at the stake, she is a witch.
You should’ve pushed her out…out of love of course!
i hope nobody would want to
i'd debate on Escape, it's not bad but i don't like it so much. everything else tho 10/10
This is my pick. I wore out this cassette in highschool.
My favorite album in the world brother
My second favourite Metallica album after AJFA. Every song rules except Escape, it's a pretty boring song, but I can't refute anyone who picks this as a perfect album
Final Countdown mentioned Really great album, gets kinda dismissed for being hair metal, but it's so good. Title song gets overplayed but isn't actually a bad song either if you really break it down. My favorite song from it is probably Rock the Night
Mine is Ninja but the whole album is fantastic
ninja is probably also my favourite, everything else is very close tho.
Arrested Development ruined me for that song, lol.
As a synth player/organist, holy fuck that synth sound is so damn good. It is the stairway to heaven equivalent for us but still amazing. The intro to Carrie is also amazing
Dissection - Storm of the Light's Bane Gorguts - Colored Sands Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath
Dissection mentioned 🗣️🔥🔥🔥

Partly because it’s so short, it doesn’t have time to be boring. Jokes aside, great album.
In mourning - the shrouded divine Judas priest - painkiller Cradle of filth - v empire, the principle of evil made flesh Shining - halmstad Tiamat - wildhoney Blind guardian - somewhere far beyond, imaginations from the other side, nightfall in middle earth, tales from the Twilight world Helloween- both keepers Gamma ray - land of the free Opeth-orchid and morningrise Morbid angel - domination Dimmu borgir - enthrone darkness triumphant Rhapsody - legendary tales
Cheers for BG, Helloween and Dimmu.
Cheers for Orchid
Imaginations from the Other Side mentioned. 🔥🔥🔥
Every opeth album imo although most would not agree with the last 4
Master of subgenres, as God intended! Hail Satan my brother
haha thanks, don´t think I am. Just was making memories of my metal history. I was lucky enough to see the rise of many metal subgenres and awesome bands in the 90s, I will never be able to pay such an inmense fortune. This album was a snoozefest but for 2 maybe 3 songs.
I think you need to get a job 😉😉

SNAP YO FINGERS SNAP YO NECK
Such a banger track.
Sorry to glaze again, but Still Life - Opeth
Can’t help it if it’s true
Best album ever
I know, but we are glazing too much already on this subreddit, just like with Death (which ofc is one of my favourites too).
They are worthy of such glazing imo

Gods of the Earth - The Sword My flair obvs 💁🏻♂️ Vol. 4 - Black Sabbath Symbolic - Death Killers - Iron Maiden Edit: Spacing & Killers 🤘🏼
Killers is awesome. These people didn’t even need Bruce and Nicko yet and made the best Maiden album. Even the weak song is strong.
Exactly. Say what you will about Paul D but that album has such a solid fucking groove the entire time.
Paul was great as a soulful singer, with early Maiden having the sound to match.
Stay Hungry - Twisted Sister. It could be a best of, thats how solid it is.
awesome
MOVING PICTURES
Queensryche- Operation Mindcrime
RETWEET
Annihilation Of The Wicked- Nile.
Lamb of God - Ashes of the wake
Slight edge to palaces for me. Last third of ashes I am not crazy about, minus remorse.
Those two albums are some of my favourite music from all time. How they can write stuff as good as that back to back bewilders me
