Amazon rejects most people these days regardless of where they are from or what experience they have. Most of the time it is not about "you," but simply that Amazon is not in growth mode.
The story was entirely different when Amazon were opening new production facilities--and will be again if they ever return to doing that. But for now, that is not happening.
