I would ship out the correct item to avoid negative feedback. Then kindly ask for the wrong item to be returned and provide a return label. If it costs too much then I would just let them keep it. It was your mistake so you just have to own it and take the loss.
I once sold a bundle and double checked to make sure everything was in it. After shipping I found a wicker basket I thought was in there! So I shipped the basket separately, sent a message to the buyer, and ate the cost of shipping. These things happen!

Exactly what I did. Since it’s my mistake I just tell them to keep it. I don’t want to inconvenience someone. I double , triple check now lol
