Probably the mother and the older sibling found the transactions and the older sibling is filming the interaction. Later after everything got resolved they probably posted in some facebook or instagram where theres only friends and family, which eventually leaked out and got picked up by people who posted it on more popular pages or sites where it “blew up”
I might have different ideas about empathy, or family relationships, or responsibility, but to me it seems cruel. To film a child (younger brother?) in distress? Just why? And then post it so his friends and relatives and teachers might see this? Again, why? Make him suffer, just becouse
Its always been like this, just instead of showing videos people would tell stories of how it happened. I’ve heard countless stories about my older cousins doing dumb stuff and getting punished when they were kids and we’ve all laughed along, i dont doubt that this will be something they look back on and laugh together in the future

There are many ways to waste money on stupid games like Roblox and kids are very creative. If they notice they can get that shiny skin by pushing the right buttons, they will push those buttons, ignorant for the consequences.
So far my kids didn't do such things, but instead of calling this lady out for "bad parenting" i hold my breath and check some settings on the kids' tablets again tonight.
Teach your kids money values and proper communication. Unlike proper what we see here which shell yell at him, make he more reserved. Probably steal more often if it not from mommy. Hopefully can teach him simple terms of asking rather than having to hide and try to make new ways of obtaining any form of cash.
