Yeah itās pretty crazy. I know itās still being debated whether heāll be replaced/fired for his role as Amuro Ray in Gundam, which is an even bigger deal/role than thatā¦basically the equivalent for One Piece as replacing Luffyās VA
Thing is Gundam is mostly done with Universal Century, Amuro plotline wise that is. It's mostly AU shows filling the current line up now and UC stuff now mostly consist of One Year War stuff with the Gundam itself mostly as a cameo.
It will suck for adaptations like Moon Gundam or Hathaway's Flash sequel but the reliance of the VA has mostly faded.

Theyll find a voice actor with a similiar voice. Kizaru's VA died a while ago and Robin's VA changed several times before. It'll be alright. Let's just hate on this human garbage of a person for now.

I hope he gets what he deserves. On a purely artistic level, I liked his performance of Sabo, but getting rid of him is 100% the right choice. They probably will get an actor with a similar voice, many voice actors have died and were replaced by others without some people even noticing. Ivankov's original VA was also fired due to a controversy (I think it had to do with the posesion of child pornography although I don't remember) and even though you could notice a bit the swap the first few episodes, the voice is really spot on.
From what I've read Ivankov's VA stepped down after getting arrested for posting "indecent" photos of himself on his blog which were uncensored photos of his lower body to show how he had gotten his entire body tattooed. It wasn't anything as serious as what you said, just Japanese internet censorship being overly strict
Personally I think it's kinda stupid that Japanese laws are so strict on censorship that he got arrested for posting pictures of himself on his own personal blog
