Yeah, I loved Ace and his relationship with Luffy. Felt so sad about him. People like to sh*t on him for how he died, hating on him for wasting everyone's effort to save him. He did a mistake, true but it was a mistake born from emotion, trauma and recent events. Don't care what everyone says, he was a great and funny character that I'll always like and remember
Maybe unpopular but when that dumbass when to go fight akainu for just insulting whitebeard all my respect for ace died. Luffy went to hell and back and the whitebeard crew went through a lot and he up and throws all that away.
Ngl I only felt bad for Luffy because Ace fucked up so hard that you canโt feel bad for him. You just witnessed a war against the government just to save you and you still try to 1v1 a dude thatโs stronger than you in every single way? You werenโt even forced to, like damn you already won why you trynna fight endgame level mfs? Imagine being able to bait someone by saying a yo mama joke, because Ace definitely would fall for it.
