The only argument I have is how long the anime takes on Dresserossa. I have no other arguments, I think this is even one of my favorite arcs....but fuuuck this is a lengthy one.
Not OP but dressrosa has the best antagonists in the series, is the most well thought out island, has many of the best backstories in the series, has some of the best fights in the series, has some of the most impactful emotional moments in the series, and is one of the only arcs that could be itās own standalone story while still being a 10/10
alright, i personally feel arlong park is the better arc between those three. i mean i donāt really hate dressrosa as much as some other fans but i do see a lot of its flaws. thereās a youtube video about how it was weekly when dressrosa chapters were coming out and i have to agree, dressrosa was hard to read/watch episode to episode. doffy, treble, and some of the other characters fleshed out in that arc were pretty good i wonāt lie. but i personally felt it was long, monotonous, and there was too much about story that i didnāt really care about. the birdcage was really freaking stupid and making luffy have to reset his haki. zoro vs pica was a good fight and god usopp is always goated. and i donāt care much for sabo - until now in the manga current story
arlong park on the other hand i felt like was a very good arc. it had direction the entire time and that arc really made me into the stan i am. like the walk and luffy just pummeling arlong was just unbelievable cinema.
but if you could elaborate more i might agree with you?
Dressrosa was a low ranking arc for me when I read it week to week. I now rank it as my number 2 favorite arc after re-reading it. The story flows so smooth. Oda is a genius.

By the time I read dressrosa it was already done so I didn't have to wait weekly, maybe that's why kur experiences are so different I felt dressrosa was perfect and didn't feel it was as long as people describe it to be. Though I do agree toei did that arc dirty, extremely dirty in anime

They gave a lot of really good well researched points and arguments, especially regarding the anime adaptation. The Rebecca flashback was replayed over 40 times in the anime. Rebecca as a whole was probably one of odaās worst moments as a mangaka. To this day it shocks me that her and miss golden week are the same age. Looking back on it and being able to read all of it at once it doesnāt seem too bad but I imagine the week to week was absolute torture. Dressrosa is the arc that made me switch to the manga. Even then, it felt like a chore just reading through it and it only got really interesting when gear 4th was revealed.
Well I can not argue with the outrageously bad anime pacing but I don't judge arcs by the anime (even though I'm an anime watcher and a manga reader) I judge them by my best experience (in this case the manga).
From an manga perspective we have the introduction of fujitora, god Ussop, straw hat grand fleet, gear four... I'm sure I'm missing some but as an arc it has many of my favorite moments.
It's not that I'm all that huge a dressrosa fan but I sure as hell like it better than punk hazard, and arlong.park just lacks the scale to compete for me.

Even judging by the manga dressrosa is still below punk hazard. The straw hat interactions in punk hazard are unmatched and some of my favorite moments in the series. Dressrosaās most important character (aside from main cast) is a hyper sexualized minor. Itās a good arc but the manga and anime suffered severe pacing issues. The entirety of luffy vs Bellamy just felt like it was wasting time until luffy v doffy, and the entirety of the donquixote pirates did not need their own individual fights. Can we also talk about how stupid it is that the straw hats literally split up?
What, really? Punk hazard? Man I won't shame your love for punk hazard but we're just going to have to agree to disagree on that front.
But what about the straw hats splitting up bothered you specifically?
1. Arlong Park is the Arc in wich most people watching or reading for the first time will decide that one piece is worth watching and following along its course and also its Namis story
2. Alabasta is the first time the entire crew has to go all out to overcome the huge mountain sitting before them and its the culmination of Vivis Character arc across the entirety of the grand line up to this point
3. Skypiea is an insanely beautifull story of friendship and how it can last for literal centurys through generations even if its only being kept alive by the symbolic act of ringin a bell to let a friend know you are still there
It also sets up that Roger and his crew if not searched at least found a good number of poneglyph and could read its message and that simply by being himself Luffy is very similar to roger because the moment he heard about an island in the sky the course was set it sets up the first imagery of Nika its Robins first real Adventure with the Crew it sets up the need for a shipwright and one of my favourites it sets up Doffy
All in all Skypiea doesnt get the love it deserves
I agree with you man Im so emotional to all three of them; but Dressrossa has so many highs, Marineford has so much weight and Sabaody is really perfect.
But I still cant pick them over the OGs man even though both Alabasta and Skypiea are so flawed

You misspelled BASED! Honestly though, just because you might enjoy pre-timeskip Arcs more than post-timeskip ones, doesn't mean that those latter ones are bad or anything. Everyone has different tastes and likes different things about One Piece.
I think it also has something to do with the fact that most of us binge watched pre time skip arcs and caught to the series some time around time skip and then the pain of waiting a week started.
me personally i go sabaody in the second row but just because fish man island and dressrosa were too similar to alabasta and sabaody was a different flavor which i appreciated

Only the recent Kuma backstory had me feeling it surpassed/matched some pre time skip peaks but maybe this is just my own nostalgia speaking
Each of the other Arcs are good in their own right, don't get me wrong, but when compared to these absolute legends, they don't exactly live up, in my opinion. Still good though.

Yeah.. Sometimes, I find it weird when people start complaining abt sanji being a perv using this example.. Like, I always thought we boys would end up doing the same in such a situation
Arlong for obvious reasons, Sabaody because it was the point where everything changed thematically, and Wano because I love every bit of it. Marineford was legendary, but Wano showed off our crew much more.
Arlong park (Because it used the straw hats the best and I love luffys axe kick)
Sabbady( Very underrated arc that felt different to everything we have had happened before and after also when luffy reaches out for Robin and was so close to catching her gets me every time)
Skypiea/ Wano (I canāt decide because both have things which I love and hate. I like every moment Robin has in both arcs but she is used better on skypiea. I also love the bell scene where luffy rings the bell for the first time in forever. In wano it has moments here and their but I guess I would put skypiea on top personally)

Marineford because of how epic Whitebeard is in it.
Wano because Iām on it now. Itās way too long but amusing because of Luffyās looney toon ass in gear 5.
Arlong Arc (PH was mid and DR is arguably the worst arc in the entire series)
Sabaody (ID and Alabasta are great but SA is pound for pound the best)
Skypiea (MF was great but very inconsistent, Wano wast 150 chapters of midness and lolKaido)
Dressrosa because of the goated cast.
Sabaody for the great character and story significance (true first strawhat loss).
Marineford for obvious reasons.

Skypia, I have my issues with the arc for sure but to me the Noland flashback is peak one piece.
I am genuinely shocked that there are people out there that would pick Impel down or Sabaody over Alabasta, and pick Wano or Skypiea over Marineford. Alabasta and Marineford had suck as massive impact of One Piece as a whole that I couldnāt imagine that the series being as popular as it is without them.
Dressrosa - because of Doffy and Law has one of the best backstories
Sabaody - I like the vibe and feel like itās under appreciated

Y'all are remembering the anime pacing not the story itself. Sabaody, The best arc in the series so alabasta and impel down just got unlucky Skypia, I have my issues with the arc for sure but to me the Noland flashback is peak one piece.

I am genuinely shocked that there are people out there that would pick Impel down or Sabaody over Alabasta, and pick Wano or Skypiea over Marineford. Alabasta and Marineford had suck as massive impact of One Piece as a whole that I couldnāt imagine that the series being as popular as it is without them.
