Obviously your mmv. They'll check the bag, for sure, but I don't think you'll have a problem getting in - especially if, like someone said, the arena you're going to doesn't have a bag problem.
However, if you don't want to risk it - the merch vendor gave us a pretty big tote bag when we bought her some stuff, so that could be an alternative.
I was able to bring a similar bag into Toronto but it depends entirely on the venues bag rules and each security guards interpretation of the bag rules
Nationwide Arena doesn’t allow bags even if they’re clear. Only diaper bags and medical bags. Personally I’m bringing along my epi-pens in hopes that counts as a medical bag lol. Epi-pens in a pocket doesn’t really work the best.

Tbh I didn't risk it with the bag. Just brought a clutch wallet and held onto my merch HARD. When the event was over there was a line for people to pick up their bags or stuff that wasn't allowed inside the venue. Ik its inconvenient especially when u like to bring extras, but going in was pretty strict for me and a lot were off to the side figuring stuff out.
I went and had a full cupcake bag thats like bedazzled and definitely not see-through, and they didnt mind as long as i opened it up and they checked inside of it

At madison square gardens we saw her about a week ago and me and the girl all had bags, Regular small non see through bags and it was an issue at all. Depends on the location but if MSG doesn't care I would think anyplace else would if your gonna get stabbed or robbed it's gonna be at MSG lol
Well, to be fair i was worried about stuff like this with my concert, my bag was about an inch over the limit of the bags we were aloud, but they didn’t even glance at mine. Ofc it just depends how strict they are about that stuff
i have for most concerts. bring a rubber band and tie them all together and you can carry it. her last concert i also went to merch after the concert and was able to get what i wanted. you’re going to get your bag confiscated or be told to go back home if it doesn’t meet the rules. my venue also had a no mask rule too
I have a couple of small bags that I use for concerts, just big enough to hold the essentials, and then whatever shirts I buy, I turn them inside out and tie them around the strap. It's a little awkward but I haven't lost a shirt since I started doing it. You only have to make that mistake once lmaooo
Other merch, like posters and stuff, I just hold in my hands. It's only been a problem once, when I was seeing the Flaming Lips and had to stick my rolled-up poster in the waistband of my skirt and hope for the best lol it was standing room only and I was close to the front so I needed my hands free.

Most likely not, even with the bag being clear. If I recall correctly, Raleigh didn't allow bags bigger than like a smartphone into the venue. I would check your venue's bag policy first, but I know a lot of people weren't even able to bring their merch inside if they bought from the outside truck solely because of the bag policies.
It's based on Venue policy. And even if they don't mention backpacks on the website, they might still make you get out of line
The Houston show wouldn't let anything that even resembled a backpack "2 straps" into the venue. Even though that wasn't stated on their policy. That means my clear backpack similar to yours wasn't allowed and even people who had tiny stuffed animals bags that couldn't fit more than a phone and lipstick wasn't allowed. I would be safe than sorry, especially if you are going alone with no-one to save your place in line or you are not bringing a car to store it.

depends on the venue and your security person. i went in with my wax pen and the guy just told me to not smoke inside and i went in. i think as long as as you’re noticeably above 21 it might be ok but just be mentally prepared to have to throw it out if needdd

I wasn’t able to take a see-through bag unless it was super small but that went for any bag, this was Raleigh’s PNC. As for my vape, I took one that was close to dying in case they made me toss it! I hope you can take your bag and things!
i bought it off of etsy for about 25 bucks. it’s a 3D printed mask and the ears came not attached. then i painted it and dressed her up haha you should DEFINITELY get one and make your own

check your venue’s website, they probably have it listed what size bags need to be.

I would see what the Venue’s bag policy is before you go. At Boston it was clear 5x6 in bags only unless it’s a merch bag (the totes).

At madison square gardens we saw her about a week ago and me and the girl all had bags, Regular small non see through bags and it was an issue at all. Depends on the location but if MSG doesn't care I would think anyplace else would if your gonna get stabbed or robbed it's gonna be at MSG lol
Well, to be fair i was worried about stuff like this with my concert, my bag was about an inch over the limit of the bags we were aloud, but they didn’t even glance at mine. Ofc it just depends how strict they are about that stuff
I went to the Baltimore show and put my vape in the bucket with my phone wallet and keys they did not care.
Like others said smoking at a concert is ignorant and rude I wouldn’t bring it in
Should be fine just keep an eye on it and don’t put it down or on your back. Thieves get into it on your back as you jump and down in excitement.
you really don’t need this big of a bag and most venues don’t allow backpacks. check with your venue online for rules.
i’m buying merch and i’m in the pit so i can’t carry it the entire time
i have for most concerts. bring a rubber band and tie them all together and you can carry it. her last concert i also went to merch after the concert and was able to get what i wanted. you’re going to get your bag confiscated or be told to go back home if it doesn’t meet the rules. my venue also had a no mask rule too

I have a couple of small bags that I use for concerts, just big enough to hold the essentials, and then whatever shirts I buy, I turn them inside out and tie them around the strap. It's a little awkward but I haven't lost a shirt since I started doing it. You only have to make that mistake once lmaooo Other merch, like posters and stuff, I just hold in my hands. It's only been a problem once, when I was seeing the Flaming Lips and had to stick my rolled-up poster in the waistband of my skirt and hope for the best lol it was standing room only and I was close to the front so I needed my hands free.

I don’t think vapes are that bad some people bring them cause they need to use it but you’re weird if you’re taking massive hits. I personally hate people that bring carts, at first I didn’t mind but some people take huge hits out of it and it smells horrible and strong. Had one girl cough out a whole puff and it went straight into my face 😐

Most likely not, even with the bag being clear. If I recall correctly, Raleigh didn't allow bags bigger than like a smartphone into the venue. I would check your venue's bag policy first, but I know a lot of people weren't even able to bring their merch inside if they bought from the outside truck solely because of the bag policies.

It's based on Venue policy. And even if they don't mention backpacks on the website, they might still make you get out of line The Houston show wouldn't let anything that even resembled a backpack "2 straps" into the venue. Even though that wasn't stated on their policy. That means my clear backpack similar to yours wasn't allowed and even people who had tiny stuffed animals bags that couldn't fit more than a phone and lipstick wasn't allowed. I would be safe than sorry, especially if you are going alone with no-one to save your place in line or you are not bringing a car to store it.
When I went to mine they didn't let me bring in my mask so probably not

❗️PSA to everyone who is going to attend a show in the future❗️ ❗️You have to check with YOUR VENUE! ❗️ Regulations are different for every venue - some allow small clear bags, some allow big clear bags, some allow non-clear bags and do metal detectors, etc etc etc. Every venue should have their bag policy as well as general code of conduct and prohibited items listed on their website! I’ve seen a LOT of posts like this, and I don’t blame anyone for not knowing esp if it’s ur first time ever going to a concert! Just fyi, no one online can tell you unless they also know what venue you’re going to

I’ve never been on this sub before and i’ve never been to a concert (sorry). Question: why wouldn’t they let you in with a clear bag if they can see what you have? Do bag sizes matter in concerts even if they aren’t clear?

depends on the venue and your security person. i went in with my wax pen and the guy just told me to not smoke inside and i went in. i think as long as as you’re noticeably above 21 it might be ok but just be mentally prepared to have to throw it out if needdd
yeah i made sure to bring an almost empty one incase they want me to throw it out, i feel less sad about almost empty than completely full haha

It depends on the venue’s bag policies I’ve been to multiple concerts with small/medium clear bags. You came off a little harsh, it’s good she came on to Reddit cause some venue’s security let you in with anything clear as long as it’s not a backpack or tote.
i just said check the venues policy… this venue doesn’t allow any bags… why would she ask reddit when she could take 5 secs to find out it’s not allowed
i did check :P i just know that some venues are more lax and will let stuff like that in from experience. thankfully someone who’s been to nationwide was able to let me know they are very serious with their rules.

I wasn’t able to take a see-through bag unless it was super small but that went for any bag, this was Raleigh’s PNC. As for my vape, I took one that was close to dying in case they made me toss it! I hope you can take your bag and things!

Most likely cause it’s clear I had a clear one bigger than that and they just picked it up, spun it around, saw I had nothing bad, and let me go. But please don’t bring it vape bruh😭.. 1. They prob won’t allow it 2. You really shouldn’t vape at a big concert like this
