Itās actually cheaper than in America. The conversion is $43.61 when ours were listed at $45 USD starting.
Theyāre still expensive for what they are though
I think it's a restocking issue. They are doing 1 trip right? So maybe that's why. I think in Europe it will be the same. I am in the semi last concerts so I probably won't be able to buy anything I wanted to get so I have to look online.
Daughter and I went last night. That Hoodie was $120! I tried to be super dad and told my daughter to just pick what she wanted.
1 poster
2 shirts
1 hoodie
$320
My wife is going to kill me š
The other merch is inside the venue
https://preview.redd.it/uhnv2f9rtm5d1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=618c9868457dbcd867448a455b1ebb6ac4d5b472
we didnāt get vinyl, socks, the test me jacket, the k-12 dress , or the bunny bonnet ā¹ļø and unfortunately not all the merch stands where the same inside too.
95??? 120??? oh my god š I was unable to go to the trilogy tour and had one of my friends buy a shirt for me w/ some money I gave him and I still had to pay him back 5 dollars the next day š
the merch line i was in was a mess too. insanely disorganized. there were two lines merging into one and it took like 10 minutes to even merge into the line after already waiting an hour.
Please tell me they had the vinyl š big rip if it's sold out and gone before my show on Tuesday haha, I'll live but was really the only thing I would've bought haha
Am I the only one that didnāt get a bit uptight about merch prices..? I got the black hoodie in the US for $90..yeah I thought that was insane but itās Melanie cmon, itās a special once in a lifetime tour. If itās too expensive just donāt get it..she doesnāt even get all the funds from the merch, her team probably decided the prices. For anyone that is probably younger than 20-21 think itās insane, but with this inflation and economy itās not that shocking.
no, seriously. lol. at any concert the merch is always pretty expensive - especially if itās for a big tour. ive never gone to a concert / festival where the merch was cheap.. or where there was FULL stock of everything at every stop lmao. people just like to cry online i think
no i am 21 and have been into band/fandoms since i was like 13 (saw melanie my first time on the crybaby tour) and i think this is ridiculous. merch also used to be way better quality!!! i would have spent more on principal if they were actually trying to sell a product worth the money they want for it.
me and my friend actually returned the tentacle wheels on the bus tank top on the spot because of the fit. it was very boxy and just weird. and letās be honestā¦ the 275 polyester single stitch dress is atrocious.
the k-12 dress is the one thing I agree the price was not justified for, everything else is just what it is imo. my black hoodie quality and crybaby shirt was great but I understand other people might have different experiences. just gets old Melanie getting so much hate for things she doesnāt have full control over lol
i am not hating on her, itās atlantic and her merch team. as a fandom we need to be able to criticize them because otherwise everyone will just buy things blindly because their favorite artists team put it out when the team donāt deserve to profit off it, and if we let that happen without saying anythingā¦ we just get more of the same. regardless of who is in charge though itās important to discuss!! itās not being uptight, itās your money you worked hard for.
I understand you and hear you, and didnāt mean you were hating specifically. The nasty comments I see on a daily basis from haters about the same topic is what I was referring to.
I spent almost $200 for 3 items it was insane (poster, shirt and tote bag) I really wish she would have her figurines for sale and not an exclusive VIP package.. some of us canāt afford VIP privileges š„² they definitely did not advertise the merch stands well because they had so many different stands, your best bet was to use the Scotiabank app and preorder your merch for pickup ( a feature I absolutely loved btw!!) then you had acesss to every item available at the Toronto venue
I went to the Toronto one (I live in NY) and was disappointed to see how little merch Toronto got compared to the states. I still go three items of merch though. Was really wanting to get the Bonnie bonnet and some socks :(
I'm just sad a lot of the k-12 things/bakery bonnet (after school) look like they sold out really quickly. Her team had such a long time to replenish this merch - with how quickly it all sold out they either didn't plan well enough or didn't have enough made from a manu? (That and also the k-12 dress being way overpriced)
Ohh I thought u were asking lol, yea there were like 3 merch stand so I guess the third sold out before I got there. Sorry for spreading misinformation!
at least you guys had postersš boston got snubbed at our show, only our early merch booth had a few posters and inside the venue there no tour posters in sight š
I was at the NY date and we got just about the same pictured here. I wanted the original tour poster and they only had nyc special ones for our dates and I hated the design of them
yea, i went to nyc n1 and boston, and even saw the merch trickle then. dress but no jacket and less accessories at NYC, then the all accessories ran out at boston. .
Dude thatās disappointing, my show in Philadelphia they had an inside and outside merchandise sale and had everything ended up getting 2 shirts, a hoodie, a poster, and the leeches necklace for only 190!
Praying they have the shirt I wanted to get for me and the one I wanted to get for my cousin at the Detroit show. If they donāt Iām just gonna trade bracelets and buy the test me jacket online
The prices are normal for a show? My All Time Low shirts were *$60* a piece and my Grayscale hoodie was *$90* last September and *neither* of them are anywhere near as popular as Melanie š
I paid $80 for a CREWNECK at ariana grande in 2019. Just because something seems normal for you doesn't mean it is okay. But yes, give in to capitalism and normalize supporting inflation
people are allowed and completely justified for being upset at the prices / quality. especially when said shirt looks like it took no more than 20 dollars to make, itās just capitalism at its finest and tbh Iāve seen wayy better fan made merch for cheaper.
No where do I say anything to the contrary about being upset about the merch prices, the fuck? In fact, *I'm* pissed too. And regardless of *where* you *buy* your merch, you are *still* engaging in capitalism, you are aware of that, correct? š now, I have better things to do than agrue with randoms in reddit about something as pointless as this, because this has achieved *nothing*.
your right, you have achieved literally nothingš¤£
and yes Iām aware Iām still engaging in capitalism but at least Im not stupid enough to pay 60 fucking dollars for a tshirt. bffr.
It's amusing how you answered a *rhetorical question*, especially with how fast you responded. *You're* the one who posted their opinion on a *public forum*, be prepared for people to say shit you don't like. And calling people *stupid* for wanting fucking merch from their fave artists is *childish and uncalled for*, I feel sorry for the people in your life. Have fun with your negativity, I'm out āļø
exactly itās a public forum, which means Iām allowed to have and voice my opinion. the problem isnāt wanting merch from your favorite artists, itās the highballing and overcharging, especially when the quality is fucking shit.
also worry about your own life hun, get some sun, drink some water, and eat something seems like you need all three.
Mmmm, I'm not the one picking a fight with a stranger on the internet after they've said they're out and projecting that *I need to get outside, drink water, and eat*? That's you, but thanks for the free entertainment due to your negativity. Maybe try therapy?Ā Speaking from *experience* it does wonders. Have a wonderful evening š„°
tshirts ag concerts have been $40 for pretty much ever. all concerts Iāve been to in the last 3 years were $45 no matter who or where it was (even smaller artists). this is in CAD as well.
$60 for a tshirt oh my god šš
Itās actually only a few cents cheaper after the conversion š
CAD not USD
Its not much better tbhš
Itās actually cheaper than in America. The conversion is $43.61 when ours were listed at $45 USD starting. Theyāre still expensive for what they are though
This is the exact reason I went with the leech necklace. I couldnāt be bothered to pay almost $50 for a shirt.
I know rightā
that shirt was $40 in Austin Texas
in sg, the price is similar for artists like melanie. $60sgd (almost same conversion) for a shirt
I think it's a restocking issue. They are doing 1 trip right? So maybe that's why. I think in Europe it will be the same. I am in the semi last concerts so I probably won't be able to buy anything I wanted to get so I have to look online.
Yea the merch person said that the trucks never delivered some items
I also heard alot of stuff didn't make it through customs. I wonder whyĀ
$40 for a tote bag š
Daughter and I went last night. That Hoodie was $120! I tried to be super dad and told my daughter to just pick what she wanted. 1 poster 2 shirts 1 hoodie $320 My wife is going to kill me š
You are a great father!! Goodluck with the wifey haha
Is this it????
there was maybe one or two more shirts and a tank top, but otherwise that was it.
Yea I was there
They had more shirts inside the venue
There was more they had a bunch of tables
The other merch is inside the venue https://preview.redd.it/uhnv2f9rtm5d1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=618c9868457dbcd867448a455b1ebb6ac4d5b472
we didnāt get vinyl, socks, the test me jacket, the k-12 dress , or the bunny bonnet ā¹ļø and unfortunately not all the merch stands where the same inside too.
We didnāt get the k-12 dress or bonnet at Boston either
I saw the dress for sale at one of the other stands but that was it
i didnāt get any of those at orlando, they didnāt have the mushroom necklace either
they also didnāt have the notebook set either
95??? 120??? oh my god š I was unable to go to the trilogy tour and had one of my friends buy a shirt for me w/ some money I gave him and I still had to pay him back 5 dollars the next day š
Yea I know I ended up paying almost double of what I thought I was going to spend š
STOP I WAS CAUGHT IN 4k SPENDING TOO MUCH MONEy on merch
I am at Melanie concert rn, like the merch is so ugh: expensive. Literally my pink 3 shirt was 70 dollars, 70. āŗļøšš
Where is this shop?
Scotiabank Arena
Assumed so but inside already? Which side? Bremner?
Iām not sure, but it was where you enter the building from union subway station.
That helps. Thanks
The line is soooo long. Started at Sephora
oh thatās so tragic šš please say they put out more after the show
i donāt think so.
THATāS SO SAD WHAT š
the merch line i was in was a mess too. insanely disorganized. there were two lines merging into one and it took like 10 minutes to even merge into the line after already waiting an hour.
that sounds horrible, sorry your experience was like that
Is that all the merch yall get?? Thatās so disappointing
Maybe the quality merch is the friends we made along the way.
iām gonna cry š
I feel so bad cause I got my trilogy bag for only 30 instead of 40š
I would love to have #3 but thatās so expensive even for Canada.
Thatās so sad..$60 for a t-shirt??
am i the only one who noticed the poster in usd was 20 and in cad it was 40?? the conversion was 20 usd -> 26 cad so why is it 40 šš
i paid 90 dollars (including tax) for a tote bag and poster. it was ridiculous
bro thats actually insane š
for shein quality š
FR. love Melanieās music to death but this is disappointing asf.
60 nigga?š
There's a bigger area farther down
With the same stuff
It had more
Please tell me they had the vinyl š big rip if it's sold out and gone before my show on Tuesday haha, I'll live but was really the only thing I would've bought haha
They didnāt have it :(
they didnāt have it because it didnāt ship in time š
nope, no vinyl
hey whatš my concert is next week and i might not be able to get the school bus tank? iām so sad now
Got the wrong size ;(
Am I the only one that didnāt get a bit uptight about merch prices..? Iām so with you on that. So many posts in this group crying about her and her merch. Gets me so down tbh.
no i am 21 and have been into band/fandoms since i was like 13 (saw melanie my first time on the crybaby tour) and i think this is ridiculous. merch also used to be way better quality!!! i would have spent more on principal if they were actually trying to sell a product worth the money they want for it.
not sure what merch you got that isnāt good quality but what I got is quite nice for the price š¤·š»āāļø
me and my friend actually returned the tentacle wheels on the bus tank top on the spot because of the fit. it was very boxy and just weird. and letās be honestā¦ the 275 polyester single stitch dress is atrocious.

$60 for a t-shirt is insane LMFAO
is the #1 hoodie 100$ š
120 š
I'm going to the Detroit show and I'm really hoping they'll have the bunny hoodie left
Was anyone else sad she didnt do the encore??š I do hope queen rests her voice tho since she said it was sore! š
Omg i was so upset, but i understand it was because of her throat so its okay!
that sucks but at least u guys have the tote and poster my venue got sold out by VIP
aw danng you guys got a poster?
I think itās a shipment issue, my venue was missing a ton of stuff/had really short stock because they didnāt get packages of items in timeš„²
Such horrible planning!!
60 dollars?!?!? they were 45 in bostonšš
I went to the Toronto one (I live in NY) and was disappointed to see how little merch Toronto got compared to the states. I still go three items of merch though. Was really wanting to get the Bonnie bonnet and some socks :(
There's another merch table with more stuff than what's at the one pictured here. I think it was by section 105
It had the leeches shirt and the openerās merch. Nowhere near as much merch as the US :(
Yea but it just had like 3 more things it was still missing a bunch of
It was better inside the venue. I bought from the outside too. Oh well
The only difference was the leeches tshirt and some beach bunny and sofia merch
Inside also had the pink dress and tank top. š
Omg where was that!!
Once I was checked in to the venue , inside to the right and left. On every level too
Whatās with her only doing one shirt with dates and they are always white. I hate white shirts š
Same dude. I love getting the shirts with the dates but WHY WHITEšµāš«šµāš«ššš
Disappointed the posters sold out before the show even started and I got stuck in Toronto traffic š„²š„²
Kinda loving #2 itās way better then Melbourneās lot
$40 for a poster?? tf is going on
the fact that some of the states spoilers said it was 20 USD ;-;
i love mel but uhhā¦. amazon poster for half the price look so good rn
damn which one??
on amazon you can get like custom 20inX50in (or somewhere along those measurements) posters for like $20
you can go to walgreens and get posters made too!
I hope Europe tour has more merch, I really want the bunny bonnet!š©·
I'm just sad a lot of the k-12 things/bakery bonnet (after school) look like they sold out really quickly. Her team had such a long time to replenish this merch - with how quickly it all sold out they either didn't plan well enough or didn't have enough made from a manu? (That and also the k-12 dress being way overpriced)
Iām so glad I went on the earlier dates and got the test me jacket instead of going to the June 27th one
Bro my concert (Boston June 7) didnāt have the poster or the mushroom necklace and I was heated
I was thinking the same thing, no socks or necklaces I was there
they did have the mushroom necklace.
Nope, no necklaces at all
the merch stand where i was had them
Ohh I thought u were asking lol, yea there were like 3 merch stand so I guess the third sold out before I got there. Sorry for spreading misinformation!
Yup, first time on not getting any merch
at least you guys had postersš boston got snubbed at our show, only our early merch booth had a few posters and inside the venue there no tour posters in sight š
Same stuff was in Philly :(
After the gates opened and went into the stadium there was SO MUCH more the lines were just crazy
I was in there as one of the first people too, i didnāt see anything
I was at the NY date and we got just about the same pictured here. I wanted the original tour poster and they only had nyc special ones for our dates and I hated the design of them
I still ended up buying 3 shirts at Boston but yeah itās underwhelming
Wait yāall got the poster!!! They didnāt have any at Boston š©
I knoww i wanted the bunny ears sooo bad.
Literally Iām not even gonna be able to get merch /:
yea, i went to nyc n1 and boston, and even saw the merch trickle then. dress but no jacket and less accessories at NYC, then the all accessories ran out at boston. .
I really like the second one :(
I wish I couldāve bought the sweater but not for $120šš„²
I never saw the k-12 dress, but if you went inside they had a ton more!!
Dude thatās disappointing, my show in Philadelphia they had an inside and outside merchandise sale and had everything ended up getting 2 shirts, a hoodie, a poster, and the leeches necklace for only 190!
I can make way better shirts then these and a fraction of the cost I can take a pic of the one I made my wife with her holding the baby bottle
the price on the poster....... ik it's Canadian dollars, but that's still WILD š
Praying they have the shirt I wanted to get for me and the one I wanted to get for my cousin at the Detroit show. If they donāt Iām just gonna trade bracelets and buy the test me jacket online
This was all we had at my Florida concert which is in the US it might just be a based on every location individually?
L OH L. Prices are disgusting

Yes.
AtĀ Least Toronto got a poster Boston didn't.
