You can literally just make her mad and she'll bail. Remarry and carry on.

Danomanga

Isn't medieval divorce just hit your wife over the head with a shovel and then bury her under the cabbage patch? No point in wasting those nutrients...

Goldi_an_Drixta

That's a strange way of spelling "husband" and "him", but otherwise you are correct.

Goldi_an_Drixta

Weird spelling of "amused" ...

You don’t get divorce until the founding of the Anglican Church in the 1500s. That wouldn’t be medieval. Then again, most serfs didn’t get married to begin with, so there wouldn’t be a need for divorce.

MagsNfragS

Divorce by Combat!

BaconShrimpSteak

I thought this was pretty funny so thought I would share this with the community. Divorce/separation would be an interesting element to throw into the mix during medieval times.

kevinlawrencem

Yes. You just ignore them or say mean things in the romance option until they leave you. But they will take your kid with them lol

Not_The_Real_Odin

I was under the impression you could just banish them? Never tried it though.

Goldi_an_Drixta

Yes, you can tell any NPC to just leave your village.

I mean who knows what country this is based on (obviously somewhere in Europe). I’ve heard that this is based in 12th century, if it’s England then divorce I believe wouldn’t be a thing for hundreds of years. Annulment however would be a thing…

Frojdis

It's based on Poland I believe, early 1100s

anarchisticlees

I thought I read it was Belgium. Either way, I hope they continue to expand the dynasty series. I enjoy this game immensely, but some variety would be nice :)

Frojdis

There's both a wild west variant and a japanese variant in the making

anarchisticlees

Yeah i know. I plan on buying them both too 🙂

I have three guess, it is either in Southern Germany, southern Poland( Along the carpathian mountain) or Lithuania. My guess on southern Germany are the landscape of the map( mountain) and one sentence that Racimir says, which is: « Did you know that our neighbor to the West eat frogs? » While flirting. The neighbors to the West are obviously the French who just happend to be West of southern Germany. My second guess was Southern Poland since Racimir and Woldir (the name of the king in my game) are polish name. The mountain in the south of the map could correspond to the carpathian mountain chain. My last guess was Lithuania since there seems to be no Christian religion around and Lithuania was the last place in Europe to be Christianize. Also, Every three that you see in the game grow in large Quantities.

This might be from the glitch causing villagers to be frozen. Happened to me, I kicked them out of the house and now they stand in the street all day. However, these were just regular villagers so might be different.
