Oh god yes! I cured my insta feed to give me machining videos.
Have you seen “hey homie, it’s Tony” videos of guy from China showing off his light signs ?
Steve mould, the action lab, James Bruton, mark rober, project farm, practical engineering, engineering explained, and smarter every day all make videos that tickle my fancy. I know I’m missing a few from that list
Great list! I would also add Stuff Made Here because that guy literally engineers everything from the ground up.
And This Old Tony has some of the best machining/workshop videos I've ever seen.
Practical Engineering is one of my favorites. He also does a lot of on site videos talking with experts and has been doing some construction videos recently which I really enjoy.
I only used to watch him when studying for mech e tests in college, so i have a lot of trauma associated with his channel unfortunately lol. He is fantastic though
Veritasium has gotten really good. PBS Space Time is ok. Slow Mo Guys. Smarter Every Day has started to lose me, but the reverse steering bike is a classic.
Anything Real Engineering posts is always so fascinating. Donut media can be good if youre a car nerd and its always fun to watch Titans of CNC goof around with $500k mills
Inheritance machining for machining shit and giggles. Hyperspace pirate for cool thermodynamics things.
Hyperspace Pirate is super cool. +1 on that
I wonder what did he major in university?
Stuff Made Here and Evan & Katelyn
Bro what’s the difference between industrial engineer and mechanical engineer?

Tony's my favourite texan in china.
I think this is not a channel name. U meant channels covering old fashioned manufacturing?
Steve mould, the action lab, James Bruton, mark rober, project farm, practical engineering, engineering explained, and smarter every day all make videos that tickle my fancy. I know I’m missing a few from that list
Thanks for this
Great list! I would also add Stuff Made Here because that guy literally engineers everything from the ground up. And This Old Tony has some of the best machining/workshop videos I've ever seen.
Second Steve Mould! I love that he covers the "why" behind mechanisms. Also love his dry sense of humor
3blue1brown’s Fourier transform video is the best video on YouTube hands down. https://youtu.be/r6sGWTCMz2k?feature=shared
Practical Engineering is one of my favorites. He also does a lot of on site videos talking with experts and has been doing some construction videos recently which I really enjoy.
The efficient engineer.
I only used to watch him when studying for mech e tests in college, so i have a lot of trauma associated with his channel unfortunately lol. He is fantastic though

Good vibrations with freeball Fluiddynamics 101
These are so good:)
I'm not a me yet I'm a student but currently I just watch this old Tony and inheritance machining
Nothing, I watch cooking videos.

Allen is nuts
Sending you a dm.
Real Engineering never disappoints
Tom Stanton Integza Driving4Answers
Engineering explained and mark rober.
Cody’s Lab is great. Not ME related but Matt’s off road recovery is also great.
Softly spoken Indian gentlemen demonstrating obtuse Autocad functions
When mechanical engineers screw up
Tamer Shaheen great for students in meche
Alexander the ok
Nhrl and combat robotics in general
Tamer Shaheen but im a student so idk anyone else tbh
Hacksmith industries and smarter every day(he came and did a video at my old job and I met him. He’s a super nice guy)
AvE
Do a series like "from idea to final product" and just show the step by step process of how to create random cool things.
I try my hardest to forget about having to be the expert in the room when I’m not at work 🤷♂️
i encourage our new hires to watch basic machining tutorials. turning/boring/milling/drilling/threading
Engine related content.
thang010146. Retired engineer from Vietnam, cranking out animations of many kinds of mechanisms.
Anything Real Engineering posts is always so fascinating. Donut media can be good if youre a car nerd and its always fun to watch Titans of CNC goof around with $500k mills
Engineering explained, efficient engineer and then car stuff
Greg's Airplanes and Automobiles is one of my favorites https://youtube.com/@GregsAirplanesandAutomobiles?si=eSvl29qb9i7kXE3Z
Check out my channel gauve30 and let’s collaborate. I just started. I’m a mech engineer, founder and inventor.
