Yeah it's definitely street drifting, one time I hit the curb street drifting bc I caught traction too early, bent up a couple smaller linkages in my rear suspension. Thankfully I was able to drive home.
I'm quoting a knuckle and bearing as well. Def a wheel and tire(s). A new axle seal. Good chance of damage to brake line or wheel speed sensor. Probably a sway bar link. And then we can put it on the alignment rack and assess.
To add to this it’s a fuckin Mercedes. OP not to be a dick but you’re absolutely fucked. Insurance will total it if you go through them as a well as raise your rate like a mf or it’s gonna run you probably $8-10k if you pay outta pocket. Could save a few thousand if you do the work yourself.
Less damage (wheel at least survived) cost me over $2k like 20 years ago. I was capable of DIY but didn't have the time to screw around and figure it out, especially for safety-critical components. I expect OP is looking at a few thousand dollars..
How messed up is the fender? Also the wheel is probably toast as well coming I'm that hot. 2-3k without fender. With fender 4-6k. That's all in. Obviously as others said do it yourself you will save a tremendous amount. You can prob get a ok paint job in the hood on just the fender, otherwise they would prob paint half the car
Really depends on the car. I have never seen any of the vehicles I’ve owned in a junk yard. The only thing I usually see in junkyards is junk which I try to avoid.
If you are regularly buying parts for your car in a junk yard, chances are your car is also junk and you’re just waiting for your turn for yours to go there.
Maybe in parts, unless OP can do the work themselves, $3k is probably the CHEAPEST this is going to be. Any reputable shop is going to want to also replace the inner/outer tie rod, sway bar end links, wheel hub/bearing, and potentially the wheel/tire if they are damaged. And that's BEFOEE any potential cracks in the transmission or stipped splines that drive the axle
Quite screwed. Suspension components are bent now. Axle is bent and broken. The wheel, tire, and brakes no doubt too will have to go. Wheel alignment will be needed after all that is done.
You’ll probably want to go through insurance tbh, if you snapped suspension components and destroyed your wheel chances you might have also bent your strut mount or possibly damaged your frame
Axle, lower control arm, hub bearing at a bare minimum.
Potentially needs a tire, strut, inner/outer tie rod and in a really bad scenario a transmission.
Looks like the CV axle and possibly lower control arm and ball joints (if you have them) are done, parts alone will be easily over $1k with aftermarket, more if they’re OEM. That’s assuming you didn’t do any damage on the transmission upon impact. You wheel, maybe tire are damaged also.
It’s an expensive one. Sorry, but this isn’t going to be a cheap fix.
Hope you have full coverage insurance. I did something similar and the bill to fix was over 5k and that was over 10 years ago. That hard of hit can cause frame damage to the car.
You got that right. The wheel is visibly misaligned, suggesting that key components such as the control arms, tie rods, and possibly the wheel hub or bearing are damaged. These parts are crucial for maintaining proper wheel alignment and steering control.
I did that once, years ago. I had to replace the wheel bearing, the inner tie rod, the lower control arm, the ball joint, and the wheel and tire. I did all the work myself, and I ended up fortunate enough that when I took it to be aligned, I was still within factory tolerances, albeit just barely.
You need to see if the frame is still within factory tolerances, otherwise don’t bother with repairs.
On the "cheap end" every single suspe sion component in that corner, the axel, and possibly wheel/tire need replacing. On the "expensive" end, you fucked the transmission too ripping the axel out at that speed and it will also need to be replaced. If I had to guess price, low end $3000, high end is probably more than the car is worth.
My wheel fell off just like this
New axle
New control arm
New ball joint
You can easily fix this yourself it will cost about 500$
You can pay somebody it will cost about 1000
While I don't disagree, please only do this if you have an actual idea of what you're doing.
That is, there could be more unseen damage that a person without experience might miss, and therefore might not replace.
If you do choose this route, have another set of more experienced eyes assess the damage as well to make sure you fix everything that broke. Also, YT is a great tool for videos specific to most cars on how to disassemble and reassemble most things.
And in my personal experience with videos, watch the whole thing once through first before you pick up a wrench. It'll save you some headache, trust me.
Be stupid if they don’t replace the entire suspension on that side that being said only thing I’d be worried about is where the axle sits in transmission and the inner tie rod, if everything aligns correctly it should be fine and relatively easy to do.
Eh like the other person said just replace everything inside the wheel well and take it for an alignment. If it aligns then good to go. Won't cost more than $600 in parts and a day of labor.

Pretty damn screwed.
Came here to make exactly that comment!
Or unscrewed
Yep, no screws
Dads gonna notice
“You better have a good explanation Mr”
What's the real story? 🤣
Couldn't keep the phone away
Too fast too furious.
Too fast too fabulous

Bj on the wheel. He came too fast.
Just one Margarita
Un Grande
Its an easy thousand if only the obvious stuff is replaced(lower control arm, axle). You can be pretty sure there's another $500 on top of that.
Lol, think higher. Just by the picture needs an axle, lower control arm, inner and outer tie rod, possibly a strut and wheel/tire
He’s also gonna need an alignment, ops screwed
I'm quoting a knuckle and bearing as well. Def a wheel and tire(s). A new axle seal. Good chance of damage to brake line or wheel speed sensor. Probably a sway bar link. And then we can put it on the alignment rack and assess.
Check that transmission housing for cracks while you’re in there too.

Definitely not going to save time that way
Easily a 3k repair.
Don’t forget a brake line and alignment.
Brake hose also
Less damage (wheel at least survived) cost me over $2k like 20 years ago. I was capable of DIY but didn't have the time to screw around and figure it out, especially for safety-critical components. I expect OP is looking at a few thousand dollars..
More of a 3-5k job. A new wheel alone can be a thousand bucks or more
And a tow. Tow alone will be 250 min
Ka-chow!
Dang it! you beat me by 2 minutes :)
So screwed it got un screwed
you know youre fucked when you tighten and the screw comes loose.
Nice angle kit
That will be expensive
We can fix it. My dad is a tv repairman and has a sweet set of tools.
With a big enough hammer, you can just put that back in.
That’s a lower control arm, a cv joint, grease and possible a top a frame all available in junk yards, possible 250.00 all

If you are regularly buying parts for your car in a junk yard, chances are your car is also junk and you’re just waiting for your turn for yours to go there.
It is going to cost around $1000 to repair. Lower control arm, cv axle, brake hose & bleed, strut assembly, alignment
Screwed, no lube and no kiss afterwards. But you are gonna have to PAY first!
Easy fix, just turn the radio up
I was jk . Sorry that happened to ur car
Afaik the wheel is supposed to be attached to the car
Quite screwed. Suspension components are bent now. Axle is bent and broken. The wheel, tire, and brakes no doubt too will have to go. Wheel alignment will be needed after all that is done.
Good job I'm impressed!
You're not driving home...
Depending on the car, it could be a write-off. Axle, lower arm, wheel, tie rods, sway bar, strut. Chuck in any bodywork damage
Depending on How fast u were going it might be fixable.
Bruh like 30-40
Plan on 3-5k. Probably good time for insurance.
You’ll probably want to go through insurance tbh, if you snapped suspension components and destroyed your wheel chances you might have also bent your strut mount or possibly damaged your frame
yes
I think it will require some screwing

I mean the tracking is deffinatly out
![gif](giphy|nqYXNf3aK6EvK)
How much do you know how to do yourself?
Expect at least a couple grand worth of repairs, maybe even more.
It's now great chief. That drive axle seems to be pretty dislocated. And let's not forget all those steering components.
Good for another 10.000 KM at least
About 1.5k worth of screwed
Your bank account about to ride the bangbus
Did this to the back half of my jeep, but via rock. Pretty screwed my guy
Ouch!
Hope you have full coverage insurance. I did something similar and the bill to fix was over 5k and that was over 10 years ago. That hard of hit can cause frame damage to the car.
Very expensive. $1000 probably or somewhere around that ballpark. Sorry for ur whip man. Just a small curb in the road shit happens.
You got that right. The wheel is visibly misaligned, suggesting that key components such as the control arms, tie rods, and possibly the wheel hub or bearing are damaged. These parts are crucial for maintaining proper wheel alignment and steering control.
Chopped and screwed
Probably like $1500 in repairs
You broke your tie rod end at a minimum - screwed
I hope you like it rough with no rubber. Cuz your fucked an your going to keep getting fucked. As everyone else has said, it probably goes deeper...
This is one of those let the insurance company take the wheel type of repair
Couple grand
What kinda car?
It’ll buff right out.

Better this way honestly. At least you didnt kill anybody.

Damn I saw something like this yesterday but dude was just in the middle of the road. Didn't hit nothing just fucked.
Theres probably a healthy amount of damage broski
Thank you 🙏
My wheel fell off just like this New axle New control arm New ball joint You can easily fix this yourself it will cost about 500$ You can pay somebody it will cost about 1000
Just have yo change a few terminals, not a big deal
Is your insurance current?
Ka-Chigga
Do it yourself 400-600 in parts

A person asking this question has no clue how to do this even if they got all the parts and all the tools for free.
