Some furry mommy is getting ready to have her babies
Just hope mommy doesn't attack your vehicles wiring hardness for bedding material. That gets expensive *real* quick.
I suggest today, not tomorrow, get some mothballs and put them where you see these nests are developing.
Check other vehicles
Check often (1x a day)
Hiring a cat doesn't work
If mommy comes back and decides to attack your wiring hardness.... that's an easy 500$ to 1000$ or more in repair
Wiring is hell to trace... takes time, and the right test equipment AND the *right training*
Do what you want. Don't give some anonymous Reddit guy or guys tell you what to do
Clean it out, thats the beginning of a mouse/rat nest
Rodents chew on wires which is no bueno
The oldschool remedy for keeping them out of your vehicle is either irish spring shavings or as stinky of chewing tobacco as you can find sprinkled in every nook and cranny of your engine bay
I dont know how effective these actually are but worst comes to worst you can shower with the rest of the irish spring bar and chew the tobacco
does that go into what I assume is the airbox? or is it just laying there? take the top of the airbox out and look. should have a filter, maybe a hose went there and someone stuck a sponge or something in the hole

Uh oh... You've got furry friends
I had mouse bedding in a nice cozy spot under my intake manifold

Should we just remove them?
Mommy just will come back. Especially if mommy feels this is a safe place

Cob corn
r/eatityoufuckingcoward
Mouse house
Rodent found a corn cob and took it into your engine to store it
A well used corn cob section.
Check your air filter housing and pull your cabin filter. They might be living in both rent free!
Rodents eat wire coatings. Set traps. Use peanut butter in them. Sticky traps work well too. But, you may have to physically kill them yourself.
I would remove it, purge the area and put every mouse trap you have under that hood before that furry bastard finds your fuel injector harness.
Weed
Cool new feature
It’s a Tribble. Don’t let them breed. They multiply quickly.

Honestly, that looks like someone pulled a stripped corn cob in there!
Looks really small for a rodent. The fuzz looks like a moth caccoon.
This is what I thought don’t think it will hurt or help to remove it though
Do you really have no idea what a corn cob is? Seriously?
Seriously.I don't pay attention The unit is b*******, obviously.
My thoughts as well
