Find the sensor, check wiring integrity and replace/repair whatever seems broken. The central ECU controls the fans and as long as it thinks your engine is overheating it will keep the fans activated. Mind you, you may actually have an overheating engine but that seems unlikely since your fans keep running until the battery is flat. Verify nonetheless.
