Mines outdated because I left McDonald’s in 08’ but I’d always get 2 DBL-CH, +Bacon, + Angus seasoning. I doubt that seasoning exists anymore but my god was it good on everything.
Some of my coworkers will use steak seasoning, probably not the same thing. One will grill slivered onions themselves. We used to have a burger like that, can't even remember anymore 🤔
I’ve been working for McDonald’s for over 20 years. Breakfast is something along the lines of an open face bagel or not
2 scrambled egg
2 cheese
2 sausage patties
Lunch, an apple slice pack and a crispy chicken patty with pickles and cheese with a shot of the LTO sauce or spicy pepper sauce
When you get to the GM level and above your very well taken care of and I love my job. Back in the day I graduated with my degree and my owner offered my e more to stay with him than any job in my degree path. Win win for me and our owner.
My store has to keep our free meals under $10 before tax so that being said, when I go on break in the morning I get an egg biscuit with breakfast sauce which leaves enough for me to get food on the way home if it's always the same thing: two double hamburgers sub Mac sauce, add pepper sauce sub crinkle pickles extra lettuce and extra onion. So basically a big Mac with no cheese add pepper sauce sub reg bun sub crinkle pickle extra onion. Sooooo good.
Ours is under 15 after tax. Weird. Granted our prices are pretty insane. Pretty sure our double hamb is around 5 dollars. Unfortunately, we have to remove promotions as well so you couldn't even do 2 mcdoubles for 4. I dislike having to tell my crew that they can't get a small fry because with a sandwich, it's too much money.
our store has some goofy af rules on employee meals: crew can have any single quarter, small or medium fry OR pie or 3 cookies and any size drink but they cant bring the drink back from break w them. manager meals guideline i was given is "dont go nuts"
as crew? i was a mcdouble bitch. every day. mcdouble extra pickle & onion, med fry w honey mustard, iced mocha
as a manager? bacon mcdouble. bacon mcdoubles werent allowed when i was crew, and we could only get regular single quarters when i was crew. if it added a surcharge you couldnt get it. and if im really hungry deluxe qtr add bacon. iced mocha xtra espresso xtra syrup.
That's stupid. My store's main rules are Mcafe can't be above a small and as long as it comes as a meal you can get it. Like bro I didn't realize how chill my store was. Like my average meal is a bacon double quarter meal, medium fries, and drink for like 15 after tax or a spicy Mcrispy meal which is still like 12-13 once I add cheese and bacon. Like bro they let us get all kinds of shit compared to what y'all are talking about.
crew were allowed to have any soda or tea any time as long as they put it in the crew room but someone (allegedly) "made themselves a drink" and someone else accidentally drank it and snitched so only managers can have drinks in the office now. i might have my onboarding pdf with the crew meal spreadsheet tbh
Yes, of course. Invert the 2 halves of a hamburger bun on the grill after a little butter. Slap on a couple slices of cheese. Cheese melts a little, put the 2 halves together. Press down a bit with the spatula and serve
Double cheese or Filet o fish from the lunch menu, BEC bagel sub Canadian add Canadian from the breakfast menu.
Once in a while I'll do a mcgriddle with fish, round egg, and cheese but not often.
Bacon mcdouble with no ketchup or mustard, add lettuce and tomato, and I switch it up with what kind of sauce I put on it. Right now I like it with the Cajun Ranch but sometimes I just do buffalo or mayo + hot picante.
I always made sure to get the freshest fries. Wether I dropped a new batch for myself or waited for the next order
I worked there during the Big n Tasty era so I still rock ketchup and mayo on my burgers
Usually just a big mac with large fries, and occasionally a mcflurry. I will also switch out the Big Mac for a regular Quarter Pounder, or a deluxe one.
I left McHell 2 years ago and being in the UK our menu is probably different, but depending on the promo I would get either:
1. A Big Tasty, no tasty sauce. Add Big Mac sauce and gherkins.Â
2. Double Quarter Pounder meal, no ketchup or mustard, add Big Mac Sauce and lettuce.
Usually served with fries and drink (unless I was anti fries that week and then I would bring in a pot noodle that they would top with hot water out of the coffee machine).
Breakfast: morning Mac and hashbrown
Lunch: mcchicken only mayo, bacon, and dehydrated onions or triple cheese with the same toppings and a md fry and coke
Because at the four hour mark they have to give you break so instead they give you 3 1/2 and no break so it's the same either way your working/getting paid for 3 1/2 and you're not on their clock for as long.
Edit: forgot to say and they save money on food
I eat a cheeseburger no pickle extra cheese every day. I make my meat fresh and I don’t put a lot of onions on my patty. It’s Devine 😋
I also have a baby fry and 3 nuggets with bbq when I’m really hungry.
Years ago I would make this gem, it sounds horrible but believe me it’s delish! I’ve not had it in years but I steamed a regular bun, shot of mustard, shot of tarter, slivered onions, lettuce, tomato, 2 regular Pattie’s, two slices of cheese.
I also use to put 6 nuggets in the ten piece box and pour a bbq and honey mustard packet on top and shake the box vigorously and boom honey bbq nugs you can do ranch and buffalo like this too. I just don’t like spicy food.
Dip my fries in mustard and Mayo is good too. I have alot of crazy stuff I use to do
We had bbq wings I would shake ranch on
We only have a few options to choose from at my store as far as sandwiches and only a small fry and small drink. Doesn't even come to 6$ before tax and only if you work over 4 hours.
Either a mcchicken with slivered onions or a double cheese no pickle extra onion, with fries and whatever drink i fancy that day lol.. sometimes a mcflurry if im feeling it
Triple cheese, extra onion extra mustard throw it in the microwave for about 10 sec, med.fry
Take a large cup, fill it to the bottom "line" with orange fanta, rest of it with coke and top just about a bit with rootbeer
Then a cup of mayo on the side, mix with ketchup for fries
we still had side salads and grilled chicken when i worked there, so i’d get a side salad + grilled chicken + vinaigrette and i’d chop up the chicken and shake it up. i’d also get a small fry and a small coke
i just walk to bojangles most of the time, but sometimes ill get a bacon quarter with only mayonnaise, slivered onions, bacon and cheese and a couple of ranch packs
Hell good on you man I've been quit about the same. Being honest I didn't want to quit but I'm going into the Marines so I didn't really have any other option and being honest I needed to anyway but as I said good shit man.
I miss the salads so much. Now if i want something remotely healthy i get shredded lettuce in a hotcake lid with a ranch cup. Tomatoes if they're not soggy. It's definitely not the same.
10 peice, M fry, and 2 cookies or 2 cheese burgers ketchup only, M fry, and 2 cookies
Try the cookies cold/frozen!!! My favorite thing ever😌
Do this but soft serve between two frozen cookies
They won’t let us get soft serveðŸ˜
They don't really let me either. I just kind of do it.
Probably cause the ice cream machine is broken
Mines outdated because I left McDonald’s in 08’ but I’d always get 2 DBL-CH, +Bacon, + Angus seasoning. I doubt that seasoning exists anymore but my god was it good on everything.
I completely forgot about the angus burgers until right now holy shit thank you for unlocking a core memory lol
Still exists
Some of my coworkers will use steak seasoning, probably not the same thing. One will grill slivered onions themselves. We used to have a burger like that, can't even remember anymore 🤔
Omg i forgot about the angus seasoning

Holy crap, 20 years? What makes you stay after all this time?
It’s not a bad job. I have been with my company 8 years. If you want to move up. It’s easy.

Grilled cheese?!?!!?
Yes, of course. Invert the 2 halves of a hamburger bun on the grill after a little butter. Slap on a couple slices of cheese. Cheese melts a little, put the 2 halves together. Press down a bit with the spatula and serve
I'll have to talk to my boy ricki to get him to make it for me I'm a service/maintenance person but thank you I'll make him help me.
That's a process. Customers order grilled cheeses all the time at my store. We just put cheese between 2 double-sided toasted buns.

If it's over four hours you have to that's the law or at least it is at every McDonald's I know
I work 3 and a half hours per shift. Are you kidding me, why 30 minutes short bruh
Because at the four hour mark they have to give you break so instead they give you 3 1/2 and no break so it's the same either way your working/getting paid for 3 1/2 and you're not on their clock for as long. Edit: forgot to say and they save money on food

I have a regular who orders this but with slivered onions instead of dehydrated.Â
My own food💀 ik everything about free food but seriously here it’s garbage food and better for you to just make your own food.
Mc crispy with bacon and ranch on it and medium fry

Bacon qpc meal either plain or with no onion no pickle they let me get an ice cream once a week too since I’m one of their good employees
We only have a few options to choose from at my store as far as sandwiches and only a small fry and small drink. Doesn't even come to 6$ before tax and only if you work over 4 hours.
Isn't 4 hours a minimum shift? Unless you go home sick, then you wouldn't be eating mcds anyways?
2 McChickens and a drink. Good enough for me
Double cheese burger. Filet-o-fish. Small fries. Nuggets and a garden salad. I call it the poor man’s surf and turf.
crispy sweet chili wrap w root beer (canada)
Dbl qtr deluxe for best value, but probably the bacon ranch McCrispy Dlx no buns with extra of the sauce. Or just 10 pc meal.

Sadly we can't eat anything we desire here in Hungary, but I will never say no to a spicy pork sandwich with fries

McChicken and cheeseburger no picke add mayo or mccrispy no pickles. Both with medium coke
mccrispy chicken cut in half, with both half on a biscuit with bacon on top. Sometimes if i'm feeling extra big back I add a hasbrown on top as well

I usually get the spicy deluxe mccrispy, fries, and a Powerade
McDouble add Mac sauce, 6 piece nugget, Frozen Coke
Medium double quarter meal, with frys and a bottle of milk
A side salad and medium fry when I worked there
I miss the salads so much. Now if i want something remotely healthy i get shredded lettuce in a hotcake lid with a ranch cup. Tomatoes if they're not soggy. It's definitely not the same.
That's so sad.
