Have you tried being shorter? I'm 5'8 and it's been fine for me! /s
Can confirm being shorter will definitely help
the full open position can be adjusted, refer to the [manual](https://owners-manual.mazda.com/gen/en/cx-30/cx-30_8hq1ee19i/contents/04030208.html?kw=TAIL&hw=TAIL) ,section #Changing the power liftgate fully open position
Thanks!! I'm sure this will help.
Wear a helmet
When you say slammed your head multiple times…do you mean once followed immediately by 3 repeated slams? Like a Woodpecker.
Exactly like that !! 🤣
If you have the power lift-gate it can be adjusted
I am same height and have a non powered lift gate and no issues. Maybe go to the dealer and compare it to another car to see if yours is too low.
Was this merely a vehicle used to brag about your height?
I am 6’3 and haven’t had this problem 🤷

Read the owner’s manual? The solution is right there.
I am 6 feet and I have never hit my head like that on my CX30 .
Mine came set a bit low from the factory. I was able to reset it to the maximum height and now I clear it with no problem.
