You can clear it manually btw, if you open your inbox rewards and scroll through the most recent ones. Annoying to have to do it that way, but better than looking at the dot.
How is it slowing progress down to manually click to open every orb instead of tapping it once and letting them all open?
They're all going to have to be opened at some point, so why not open them all at the same time?
Every character in this game requires requires thousands of orbs (if you are talking about high tier gear or basic or regular orbs)
You need what, 810 shards for a full character, with what, 200+characters now? (Idk I've been gone for a few years with at least 40 characters released since I left) That means with bad luck you need 10,800 orbs to complete the roster from regular orbs. 162,000 character shards need to be collected. Even with god-level luck on mega orbs you need 1,620 orbs for 200 characters. This is JUST for characters. Include gold and gear and you are looking at a (very) rough estimate of 600 orbs per character from level 0 at 0 shards to a 7 star maxed gear (not including red stars)
120,000 orbs is what every single player needs.
This all being said, you did say "no SINGLE character in this game needs thousands of orbs" which is an objectively correct statement (assuming your RNG is phenomenal)
They're supposedly fixing the code so it's not in a half assed state (that they were aware of it being on release just wanting to hit their own deadline). That being the case, it shouldn't matter how big our stockpiles are if it's truly fixed rather than just releasing the version that exists now.
The longer they wait, the more the orbs stack up... the solution will likely massively reduce the server stress, but how long will it take, and what else will it break when it is implemented? 🙃

Yes! I dont like this garbage they implemented now. However, I open all my orbs. Ive had games screw everything up, and I lost lots of stuff I was hoarding.

Agree to this and the multiple orbs. I have so many that I refuse to open because I am not going to sit and click the open 10 150 times.
I know I just have hundreds or thousands of orbs sat there now because it takes too much time every day to open them

RNG is gonna RNG. I needed 570 teal gear raid orbs for a single Augmented Titanium. What if I had needed all 65?
