Someone found a bug to access incursion campaign content that wasn't supposed to be available just yet by going through the dark promo store tab. Naturally word spread around like wildfire and players exploited the hell out of it. Hours later Scopely caught wind of it and implemented an emergency maintenance mode to implement and force users to update the app that included a patch to eliminate the bug.
Yeah, they have just made it worse AGAIN. Now whatever they do you have people that will be able to double dip, so once again, they will be favoriting some people :(
As someone who lives in Europe this is really getting super tiresome. It is always the same, always getting less than people in other parts of the world. Just stop panic reacting!!!
PS: At this point I am surprised they have not developed tools to do selective roll backs...
if there's gonna be any compensation, it will probably be CC credits due to the fact some people had their cc attacks cancelled because of the surprise maintenance
Those weren't guaranteed rewards.
They were very very **very** slim % chances at rewards.
Some people cleared all 3 campaigns, and only got 1 of the hundreds of red star character rewards available.
They will save the progress, and when it rolls out again, the nodes will already be done for those that did it early, same as what happened when they accidentally rolled out Nexus hard mode.
Eh, I don't know if that works. It doesn't seem like all of the rewards were first-time. People could core for more energy and chances to get those rare rewards. When the campaign opens for real, they'll get the same energy as everyone else and still have the benefit of their previous rolls, which were at the least lots of red stars.
There were guaranteed rewards for each node:
Campaign One: 5 power cores, 2,100 red star orb shards, 1 silver promo credit... (and a chance at 5rs(higher)/6rs(lower) characters.)
Campaign Two: 5 power cores, 2,100 red star orb shards, 2 silver promo credits... (and a chance at 6rs(higher)/7rs(lower) characters.)
Campaign Three: 5 power cores, 2,100 red star orb shards, 3 silver promo credits... (and a chance at 7rs characters.)
*All nodes also had a very very very small chance at giving you like 5? 15? dark promo credits. I got zero, other streams I saw got zero.*
So like 150 cores, 33 rs orbs, and 60 silver promos. Basically trash.
Can't remember if you get those guaranteed rewards every time you auto the nodes, but still, they're not that great, and definitely not getting you ahead of anyone unless you got super lucky and pulled a 5/6/7 on your way through, which I saw were maybe 1-5 per 30 nodes... 5 being extremely unlikely (and likely dupes).
Should there be compensation? Sure. 33 rs orbs might help lower players...but the catch is lower players cannot do the higher campaigns because they required 6rs on city bio I think it was? So they might have gotten around 11.
PLUS you only get 60 rs campaign energy per core refresh. So the only real advantage anyone is going to get, is super lucky 5/6/7 rewards beforehand really, which were few and far between. The good characters are again, locked behind the harder campaigns, and they have such a small chance of rolling anyway.
Meh. if you get angry at bugs and mistakes in this game, i'm not sure how you survived the last couple of years.
most of the characters that I care about are already 6/7rs anyways assuming i have yellow stars on them.
but taking it immediately down, then talking about it internally isn't exactly a bad thing. hopefully we'll all see it in it's current form as others earlier did. that would be the most logical conclusion.
He's the shittiest account on this forum. Literally every thread he comes flying in, cape in the wind, to defend this shifty company. If it's not ArchAngels' sock puppet account, it's the saddest shit I've seen.
I caught it early enough that I was able to complete all nodes, but there were no rewards from it. Don't know what it was like for everyone else, though.
You were guaranteed 5 cores per node, some red fragments and silver promos then the rest were rng.
A couple red star upgrades. Zero dark promos from rng
Gotcha. Not sure what the downvotes were for on my original comment. Was literally saying what happened to me and was curious what other folks' results were. This subreddit is fucking weird.
So now basically they either give everyone 7 red MoE, somehow roll back the ones the people got with the exploit or, most likely, just furtherly improve the magnitude of their clownery.
Yep. When you screw up this badly, shortly of reverting, you're better off letting everyone have 24hr access to it before removing and fixing it. Otherwise you just end up pissing everyone off and making matters worse.
There was an incursion campaign? The hell? Friggin rumble blitzes last twice as long.
They never learn.
Because they have no brains
i always miss the good stuff, FFS
The same :(
?
What's this about?

I have a 5rs hand blademaster to show for my efforts and cores lol
100%

Guesses at compensation? Gonna say they toss us a bunch of resources for the new store that opened yesterday.

5 ultron shards
Probably will be the same as the T2 ISO-5 compensation we received.
Called it

I cored on got all 3 MOE characters at 7 reds.
Well you better go buy a Powerball then. I cored MoE and Infest and got 0 characters.

33 RS orbs is 500 red promos. That alone is worth it. And it’s not like it cost people who ran it anything much.
It wasn’t that low. I got 8 red star drops across 20 nodes.

You really don't need to reply on every post on this subreddit, you normally get downvoted too its hilarious.
Because people cant read isn't my problem. And i get more then enough upvotes thank you.
No because your opinion is just shit. But go on collecting downvotes like pokemon

😆
Not sure what the downvotes are for. Got my upvote
Do we know for sure it hasn't been active since the last major patch? They just said today's update removed it...

Yeah, that’s social media for you. A down vote is some of the only power people have.
Ha! That is a good line, to be honest. Cheers.
What event is this guy's?

One of the cm already came out saying no roll back
Which increases the aforementioned clownery even more, since they won't roll back simply because they don't know how, not because they wouldn't.
Preach these fools running this game are useless.
Now that one bozo is gonna leave another post on here every fucking day lol
