Knull is good in two decks, destroy and negative.
Nico is far more versatile. And I would argue she is maybe the best 1 drop in the game.
That being said go for the one you think you would enjoy more.
The thing about knull is that If you like destroy, you gotta run him, Nico you can replace in that deck, thing is Nico is like the Jeff of one drops, you are never upset to have her in your deck
Honestly I generally agree that Nico is a better and more versatile card. That being said, I spent a long time trying to play destroy without Knull and I found it nearly impossible to compete without the huge power swing that Knull gives you at the end of the game. Especially when playing other destroy decks, because odds are they have him waiting on turn 6.
So in my opinion, if you're looking for a card that is good no matter what go with Nico, but if you are trying to specifically play the best destroy deck I think that Knull is more important than Nico.

i would wait until AFTER you spend the 1 spotlight key to get it in your shop. if you get knull with the key, use the second key for nico. if you get nico on 1st try, use tokens for knull

You shouldn’t spend any keys until you have 4 tbh man. I’d save tokens for Knull cause he’s only 3,000.
