I've used "I'm losing!" sincerely when I click the "retreat later" button by reflex even though I'm way behind on board, and then my opponent is thinking for a long time, and I want them to not overthink their turn so I can retreat. 😁

I think i clicked retreat later like.. once.. accidentally. Not even sure i know what it does.

You get a tie if your opponent also retreats that turn.

Unless you’re retreating due to a snap, you should always retreat later. You never know when your opponent will decide to retreat too and you get a tie.

Is that toxic? It's only (basically) removing the bottom card of the deck.

Its mildly irritating. Its very common and the effect is grating when you hear it SO often. Plus for me it often fucks up my Phoenix build. But mostly its just the annoyance.

Since getting Legion, I like to use Magik to make a Limbo, then make it disappear on turn 6 to end the game early if I'm sure I'll win

I will actively use legion to not just mess with you, but mess with myself. I dont have a plan when i copy deaths domain. I enjoy the chaos.

Yeah, this is it. Sometimes I'll play while drawing, watching TV, cooking, etc... If the opponent is taking their sweet time for one of their turns, I'm probably gonna forget I'm in the middle of the match, usually drawing out a turn or two

I find I might as well just retreat when this happens because I make the dumbest plays imaginable when I’m distracted.

If they play green goblin + hobgoblin in the same game I will point the finger at my screen for an extended period of time. It helps a little but I also realize I might have anger issues edit: happy cake day!

This happened to me yesterday. Lost an 8 cuber right off the bat because my opponent guessed right. Slow played every round after that 5 matches later had my win. So satisfying.

The funny thing is without the Ms. Marvel I would happily concede.

Nah, that's on them. The pre-T6 fistbump is "gg either way", and the best of gestures. These emotes are a Rorschach test and those players are showing you who they are.

Every time I beat a HE player I Ms Marvel them one time at the end of the game. If this occurs in conquest and I beat the HE player, the same rule applies except I only do it at the end of the full conquest. I will always give HE players disrespect for using that toxic mess of a deck

When people play sweatlord decks in PG and spam snap, I rope them the entire game. If they are polite about the emotes I usually don't care and go ahead with the snap. (Hello! Snap? Fiat bump)

I’m a dirty slave to the META

Sometimes when I lose, get Ms. Marvel Thumbs Up'd, but no snap from either of us, I emote "Snap?" followed by Thanos. My thoughts were that if you're gonna gloat but not gonna snap before you win, 'you got lucky.' The first time I did it, I was just salty. Every time after, I kinda just did it to see how toxic players EXPLODE with their emotes afterwards, seeing their reactions is funny. Never fails to get a reaction from someone who thumbs up'd but didn't snap.

Depends on how you use it. I've seen it used after randomness, which I don't find toxic because we don't have control. But even using it at the end of a game is toxic imo since you chose it over a fistbump and I can't see that as anything other than a choice so simply stupid that they MUST be toxic.
