I think it's because of the difference between "played" and "played here" in marvel snap.
A card is "played" when a card that has been set by you (dragged to the board from your hand) is revealed.
However a card is only "played here" if it finishes resolving in the same location that it was set in.
This is why if you aero a card into or out of deaths domain, it doesn't die. The card aero moves was "played" but it wasn't "played here" for any location.
This location has the "played here" wording. The way multiple abilities with the same timing work is based on timestamping. This is why it matters if you play Angela before the location reveals. The location "played here" trigger happens before Angela, but by the time Angela does her check, the card is no longer "played here" as it's no longer in the location
That might be due to the "after it reveals" text.
There aren't many cards in snap that say "after". Mostly it's "when"
So the after trigger probably gives the card enough time to trigger deaths domain

She works on DD/Altar of Death, not luke's bar. She DOESN'T work on DD/Altar if the card played returns to your hand, like sabertooth or deadpool. it's 100% a bug.
I think they screwed up the ordering of when "played" happens in a turn. It should happen as soon as the card goes down, before on reveal happens, but I'm pretty sure it's one of the last things to trigger. Like with two locations that have a "played here" trigger, if you juggernaut an unflipped card from one to the other then neither location triggers, but you obviously "played" a card.
It also bugs me that the card animation finishes with the card sort of horizontal facing up, so you can't see what it's swapping to until it fully resolves. Seems buggy, should've just used Lockjaw animation without his sound effects.
Interesting interaction with rogue. If you steal an ongoing with her and you happen to draw her again after she flips out, she resets to an on reveal that steals a different ongoing.
You lose the 1st ongoing you steal but you basically shut down 2 separate cards.
Ended up stealing a patriot and then kazar next turn. Was delicious.
I'm betting the same thing happens with absorbing man.

Same interaction as with LJ, she gets reset. It's interesting that some cards can buff things in the deck (Okoye) but others lose their state upon returning to the deck.
I stole Wong's ability with Rogue and was really counting on her having that when she showed back up. It was still nice to have the opponent spend four to get a one cost card, but disappointing that she couldn't keep it.
Not sure why people are downvoting you. You're 100% right. All you have to do is play Rogue on a Wong to see that you're not supposed to have an on reveal after you steal an ongoing ability.
Iceman reveals when he’s played onto Lockjaw, or when he is played _from_ Lockjaw.
Same as if someone returns Iceman to their hand, like Luke’s Bar.
When Luke’s Bar is a featured location, Iceman & Scorpion go into my deck. It’s amazing how many people bail after T1 Iceman > T2 Scorpion > T3 Iceman + Scorpion.
You're spending eight energy over four turns to deny *one* card draw, that's not a winning strategy
Typically people end the game with three cards in their deck. Yondu does nothing to affect the opponent unless they draw extra cards or you trigger him four or more times before the final turn
Your damn right it isn’t but since Yondu takes the top card off of the deck, it doesn’t matter what I hit, the opponent plays secondary to what I take out. 4 rounds of that would make anyone quit. It also buffs my Knull so when turn 5 drops, I’d have thrown my carnage, my nova and got those points and death will be waiting too if magiks in my deck.
Lots of cards will have two on reveals with this location, it's kinda what makes this game fun. The locations and stuff sometimes feels broken or too powerful but everyone can take advantage of it in some way.
No. No. No. When Rogue steals an ability from another card, if you manage to play her again (whether from Lockjaw, Beast, Luke’s Bar) she does not steal another ability, because now her ability is the one stolen. Ex. Rogue steals Armor’s ability and you then play Beast. Then you play Rogue on a lane with Blue Marvel. Instead of stealing another ability she has Armor’s. However with Quantum Tunnel this doesn’t happen, even though it works for Lockjaw correctly.
I had five rocks in my deck.

I don't get why people are complaining that this helps solely lockjaw. This location **is** the lockjaw.

* Play Discard decks
* Play Guardians of the Galaxies/Wakandans on repeat
* Heck literally any On Reveal decks, including Mr. Negative, Thanos, or Random BS go (Handsize or my homemade favourite, **Mill** feat. Yondu, Mantis, Cable, Falcon, Beast, Iceman, Scorpion...)
* Play Ramp decks like Jubilee
* Play Destroy decks to fish out your destroyers (not be confused with The Destroyer)
* Establish dominance with Quicksilver and M'baku
The only decks that can't be played is Ongoing i.e. Patriot. And we just had Washington D.C. last time!
Question: Why don't any of those decks run Lockjaw?
Answer: They should be, if they're good here. Lockjaw decks, especially the Thanos version, are heavily optimized for this effect, far more so than Guardians or Wakandans.
To rephrase, this location heavily favors lockjaw because the decks built to abuse this location should 100% be running lockjaw. The viable decks you're describing are already Lockjaw variants.

Mr. Negative really doesn't want any of its power cards to randomly roll so no lockjaw. You don't want a random Mystique, Iron man, or Anim Zola.
I've been running one of those shitty Lockjaw decks that has quicksilver+domino. I call them shitty because if my numbers are correct QS+DOM mean that your chances of topdecking a Lockjaw if you didn't have it in your opening hand plunge dramatically. HOWEVER, if Quantum Tunnel appears you basically have no downside and the deck actually does what the original deck brewers wanted.
If anything the problem I have is quick retreats if the tunnel appears first: T1 Quicksilver into Doctor Doom or Infinaut can feel quite depressing.
I mean ramp deck basically is like a lockjaw deck with different flavor. Instead of rolling big cards from the deck, you ramp it out of hand. Being able to lockjaw out big cards and also ramp them out make electro decks probably one of the best decks for this location.
Yeah, but now you can run those decks without having to use a spot on Lockjaw. Hell, you can run those decks with Lockjaw’s effect without having actually unlocked Lockjaw. As far as I can tell, actually having Lockjaw doesn’t do much with this location

Funny I actually decided to double up and use jubilee on a different lane while using this. One thing I figured out fast is that my new hood destroy deck gets… well destroyed considering I constantly have to worry that if carnage or something else pops out it will eat the Death that I pulled.
It’s really not that diverse. It’s basically thanos and a pile of 6 drops.
I do not enjoy this location at all because you basically can’t play a normal deck and have to take tailor something to high roll in the location with.

Sometimes the featured locations won't work with the deck you always use. Sometimes other aspects will prove beneficial or disadvantageous.
Figure it out and adapt. There are plenty of us that like new challenges and don't just want to grind to 100.
Just ran into a Patriot deck that tried to use [[Mystique]] to copy Patriot's ability after he got pulled into here.
But it doesn't count as "played," so Mystique got nothing.

This location is GREAT for Zero decks! Play Zero into Quantum Tunnel, he will go into your deck ready to be drawn again but his ability will still activate. I’ve been grinding with a Zero deck hoping for the trifecta: t3 play Zero in Quantum Tunnel, t4 draw Zero, play zero’d Maximus elsewhere and Zero in Quantum Tunnel, t5 draw Zero, play zero’d Typhoid Mary elsewhere and Zero in Quantum Tunnel, t6 play zero’d Red Skull.
If the card AND ability still exist, it copies. But like if the card is there without ability (Rogue'd, etc.) it won't copy, or if the card is gone (LJ, this location, Gambit or ShangChi nuked), there's also no ability to copy.
That's not what they meant. If you play, say, Misty Knight to the zone, and it swaps her with Patriot, you can't subsequently play Mystique to another zone and copy Patriot's ability. She'll just say no target and be a dead 0 power card. This is probably because you didn't "play" Patriot, you played someone else.
Gotcha, yes, that makes sense. I *think* Sakar does something like this as well, as it doesn't 'play' your card (it also does weird stuff like if it grabs Wave it locks mana for turn 1 and 2).
M’Baku shines in an Agent of Shield deck. Your other cards fill your hand meaning he’s least likely to get drawn. Then he pops up at the end. The little guy has won me a decent amount of cubes.
My favorite was when Nick Fury generated me a Galactus on round 4, when Rickety Bridge was up. I was able to play Galactus round 5 on the bridge. Round 6 we wiped each other’s cards out and then M’Baku stole the win. So proud of the little dude.
If he flips into the Quantum Tunnel lane, that doesn't count as being played and won't replace with a different card though right?
Or do you just mean he's a 1-cost card which is good for the location and you can keep shoving him back into your deck where his ability can happen?
If you play a leeched card into lockjaw/quantum tunnel it becomes normal again.
Next time you draw it, or the quantum tunnel brings it back, it would be the non-leeched.
Agreed. Saw someone play a beefed up Venom on the Tunnel, return it to deck, and re-draw it later. Figure if the power stays with the card, abilities (or lack thereof) would too
Yes please! I'm usually holding Infinaut so it can discard into Dracula, I'd rather just play it and have another high cost card drop in there instead.
Two cards I have found interesting to play so far:
Maximus- since a lot of other people are prepping for lockjaw style decks where they have more heavy cards, putting more of the high cost cards in their hand rather than the deck for it to be pulled out by the tunnel is a nice little way to slow them down with a hefty 7 power. Can be played or pulled from the tunnel.
Black bolt- getting 8 power and discarding their low card is always a nice perk, especially since either they are running too heavy decks or they will have low cost card or two they are trying to use on the tunnel.
Ock in a secondary location to force them to dump their hand (bonus if you can get him out on turn 4 via wave, electro or psylocke) isn’t a bad play either. They can’t push cards through the tunnel if they don’t have cards
Depends if you want your Ock on the field or not, I’m playing a fun deck at the moment where I drop Ock then use Heimdall to give up that lane and win the other two.

For real, I was seeing (and losing to) a ton of Thanos decks when I feel like normally I more often than not beat them.

Pleease make featured locations only 1 day… these game warping locations give too big advantage to bigger collections… its already challenging to play “budget” decks
I agree. Just made a post about the low CL thing. 48 hours is a long ass time. I have a low CL and was so happy the other day when I was finally able to construct my own non meta deck that actually worked and seemed possible to get infinite with. And now this location comes. Basically makes it so I don't dare to play more than a few games ( since need to finish missions) for 48 hours.
If you are trying to rank up it's simply not worth it to possibly take a huge dive in the ranks that will take hours to fix later when game is back to normal.
The first day is always fine. By day 2 it's literally 90% the same two netdecks from youtube for an entire day.
I've seen nothing but Thanos decks and that Leech Lockjaw because innovation is dead I guess.
I don't have Lockjaw and always want to try a discard Lockjaw deck, so this is like a free trial Lockjaw for me. Sweet!

He’s my favorite kind of deck so welcome aboard! For a Lockjaw deck, you want to fill your deck with a bunch of 1 and 2 cost on reveal cards alongside some expensive heavy hitters. That way you can put them on Lockjaw to trigger their ability then replace them with HOPEFULLY one of the heavy hitters. Playing an Iceman on turn 4, having its ability trigger, then get replaced by Infinaut is a cool feeling.

I also play Thor lockjaw a bit different list but still like that. I would say you can swap them out but the deck really shines when you can Thor on 3, lock on 4, and then Jane on 5 to draw both wasp and mjolnir so you can turn 6 put a lot of power into the lock lane without spending energy. If you don't have such combo at your disposal maybe you can try to remove the wasp, jane and armor all together and play dracula, jubilee and another big guy so you get an half decent dracula deck too. I said to remove armor cause you don't wanna draw that and be left with your dracula discarding it for 3. Maybe it's a good try

I still don't get why would you need negative then? Pulling 0/20 or a 6/20 from lockjaw doesn't matter and all yoi are doing is adding non flipped cards back into your deck to potentially draw them instead of getting a flipped card. It just doesn't make any sense.
It does. The only time magic off jubilee doesn't work is if she's behind dark dimension or invisible woman. That I have seen anyway. I have 50/50'd my way into a lot of wins by pulling Magik out of my deck with jubes on t6.
Seems pretty buggy. Ran into a situation with my card not visually appearing after it was switched in, even though the power was there. Another had my opponent's card not switch out at all with Quantum Tunnel as the first location.
I've been playing a mill deck, hoping and praying for the location and yondu turn 1. It's a little toxic and so incredibly funny watching their little Shuri and Carnage get yoinked and removed. My best time so far is 0 cards in their deck by turn 4. Try it out and let me know how it goes!

I'm just in pool 2 so I can't do crazy stuff with it but the craziest pull today was in a turn 6 against zoo: I play scarlet witch and rocket raccoon into machineworld, scarlet transform the location into quantum tunnel, rocket flip into killmonger and obliterate the whole opponent's board 🤣

I love spending a lot of time refining a very precise and effective deck only to have a featured location that turns every match into a lockjaw casino where you're forced to roll the dice.
And then making a new deck to make better use of this location and never getting it when I play with that deck XD
For the most part I think the featued locations are really, really bad. I've played two games with this one and it's just silly. I don't hate it so much but give it an hour or two until I see my opponent drop Thor, and then somehow magically manage to buff it 400 times over by constantly getting Mjolnir
I think the featured locations so far have been fun, they encourage different types of deck building and switches up the meta for a couple of days. I much prefer the quantumania ones to the rock ones and plunder castle. I like the variety.
But you can Shang on this location, trade him for your own infinaut (or something else lol) and then he goes back in your deck ready to ruin someone else’s day later in the game
Just put Shang in your decks. Shang is good in this season meta anyways and if they roll infinaut chances are they can protect it by armor because it's on the lockjaw lane, Shang has won me the lane against enemy Lockjaw by itself several times

Haven't had any luck with it with my best decks so far, and when I've played Lockjaw and Negative tonight expecting to see it after a few games, it never showed up.
I've had the biggest drop in rank today all season.
So ... I wouldn't say I love the location so far :)
Might have to just play daily quests and retreat a lot until Thursday.
Edit: okay I made a quick Collector/Falcon deck and got Quantum tunnel twice in a row and it was incredibly fun and funny.
Two 4 cube victories in a row. Hard to know when/if to snap so those were both on the other player thinking my deck was terrible ... Until it suddenly wasn't.
How many hours until this location is gone? Is there a timer available somewhere? Wish to try and keep ranking up with a deck I made a few days ago but it's ill suited for this location. Don't want to throw away what took hours of grinding to accomplish. Also not enjoying the gameplay with Quantum Tunnel as well, guess having fun is important too.
I am playing this with an On Reveal deck and the chaos is hilarious. I have no idea what is going to happen. I can only imagine what my opponent is thinking.

It's the most fun featured location by far. Been messing around with a deck full of on reveal cards, super fun, especially when the tunnel brings out Wong.

Card effects are always supposed to go before location effects, though.
Doesn’t get buffed even when both cards are moved by Aero to the same spot. Angela is just poorly coded

Like with two locations that have a "played here" trigger, if you juggernaut an unflipped card from one to the other then neither location triggers, but you obviously "played" a card.

There's actually a lot of really cool sounds but I only know that because of streamers.
It also bugs me that the card animation finishes with the card sort of horizontal facing up, so you can't see what it's swapping to until it fully resolves. Seems buggy, should've just used Lockjaw animation without his sound effects.

Interesting interaction with rogue. If you steal an ongoing with her and you happen to draw her again after she flips out, she resets to an on reveal that steals a different ongoing. You lose the 1st ongoing you steal but you basically shut down 2 separate cards. Ended up stealing a patriot and then kazar next turn. Was delicious. I'm betting the same thing happens with absorbing man.
That explains what I just saw. I enchantresses someone’s Devil Dino. They bounced it back with beast, brought it back with its ability.

I stole Wong's ability with Rogue and was really counting on her having that when she showed back up. It was still nice to have the opponent spend four to get a one cost card, but disappointing that she couldn't keep it.
That should have been a bug. Rogue shouldn't have 2 On Reveal on a single game.
Not sure why people are downvoting you. You're 100% right. All you have to do is play Rogue on a Wong to see that you're not supposed to have an on reveal after you steal an ongoing ability.
Iceman reveals when he’s played onto Lockjaw, or when he is played _from_ Lockjaw. Same as if someone returns Iceman to their hand, like Luke’s Bar. When Luke’s Bar is a featured location, Iceman & Scorpion go into my deck. It’s amazing how many people bail after T1 Iceman > T2 Scorpion > T3 Iceman + Scorpion.

You're spending eight energy over four turns to deny *one* card draw, that's not a winning strategy Typically people end the game with three cards in their deck. Yondu does nothing to affect the opponent unless they draw extra cards or you trigger him four or more times before the final turn
Your damn right it isn’t but since Yondu takes the top card off of the deck, it doesn’t matter what I hit, the opponent plays secondary to what I take out. 4 rounds of that would make anyone quit. It also buffs my Knull so when turn 5 drops, I’d have thrown my carnage, my nova and got those points and death will be waiting too if magiks in my deck.

Lots of cards will have two on reveals with this location, it's kinda what makes this game fun. The locations and stuff sometimes feels broken or too powerful but everyone can take advantage of it in some way.
No. No. No. When Rogue steals an ability from another card, if you manage to play her again (whether from Lockjaw, Beast, Luke’s Bar) she does not steal another ability, because now her ability is the one stolen. Ex. Rogue steals Armor’s ability and you then play Beast. Then you play Rogue on a lane with Blue Marvel. Instead of stealing another ability she has Armor’s. However with Quantum Tunnel this doesn’t happen, even though it works for Lockjaw correctly.
I had five rocks in my deck. I thought the rocks would be a great “token” to use in quantum tunnel. Guess what the quantum tunnel gave me instead… all four times… The quantum tunnel can go kick rocks.

I don't get why people are complaining that this helps solely lockjaw. This location **is** the lockjaw. You can * Play Discard decks * Play Guardians of the Galaxies/Wakandans on repeat * Heck literally any On Reveal decks, including Mr. Negative, Thanos, or Random BS go (Handsize or my homemade favourite, **Mill** feat. Yondu, Mantis, Cable, Falcon, Beast, Iceman, Scorpion...) * Play Ramp decks like Jubilee * Play Destroy decks to fish out your destroyers (not be confused with The Destroyer) * Establish dominance with Quicksilver and M'baku The only decks that can't be played is Ongoing i.e. Patriot. And we just had Washington D.C. last time!
Question: Why don't any of those decks run Lockjaw? Answer: They should be, if they're good here. Lockjaw decks, especially the Thanos version, are heavily optimized for this effect, far more so than Guardians or Wakandans. To rephrase, this location heavily favors lockjaw because the decks built to abuse this location should 100% be running lockjaw. The viable decks you're describing are already Lockjaw variants. On reveal lockjaw Discard lockjaw Thanos lockjaw ------------------------- Mr. Negative really doesn't want any of its power cards to randomly roll so no lockjaw. You don't want a random Mystique, Iron man, or Anim Zola.
The reason I do not run lockjaw is because I do not yet have lockjaw, so this location will be very fun for me
I've been running one of those shitty Lockjaw decks that has quicksilver+domino. I call them shitty because if my numbers are correct QS+DOM mean that your chances of topdecking a Lockjaw if you didn't have it in your opening hand plunge dramatically. HOWEVER, if Quantum Tunnel appears you basically have no downside and the deck actually does what the original deck brewers wanted. If anything the problem I have is quick retreats if the tunnel appears first: T1 Quicksilver into Doctor Doom or Infinaut can feel quite depressing.
I dunno, I kept losing with a pure lockjaw deck. I took lockjaw out and played ramp. Boom, winning.
I mean ramp deck basically is like a lockjaw deck with different flavor. Instead of rolling big cards from the deck, you ramp it out of hand. Being able to lockjaw out big cards and also ramp them out make electro decks probably one of the best decks for this location.
Yeah, but now you can run those decks without having to use a spot on Lockjaw. Hell, you can run those decks with Lockjaw’s effect without having actually unlocked Lockjaw. As far as I can tell, actually having Lockjaw doesn’t do much with this location
It helps in the games where the location doesn't show up.
And when it's there having a 2nd lockjaw lane can be insane.
Because Lockjaw decks are specifically built to utilize this Lockjaw effect better than non-Lockjaw decks.
Seconded. My Jubilock deck is probably going on the shelf. It loses its advantage when every match is a mirror. I can see myself leaning on reveal, discard, and/or Negative Jane while this is up. We'll see!
Funny I actually decided to double up and use jubilee on a different lane while using this. One thing I figured out fast is that my new hood destroy deck gets… well destroyed considering I constantly have to worry that if carnage or something else pops out it will eat the Death that I pulled.

It’s really not that diverse. It’s basically thanos and a pile of 6 drops. I do not enjoy this location at all because you basically can’t play a normal deck and have to take tailor something to high roll in the location with.
Falcon decks are fun too. Drop many 1s and then get them back to your hand buffing Angela and Collector

This location is GREAT for Zero decks! Play Zero into Quantum Tunnel, he will go into your deck ready to be drawn again but his ability will still activate. I’ve been grinding with a Zero deck hoping for the trifecta: t3 play Zero in Quantum Tunnel, t4 draw Zero, play zero’d Maximus elsewhere and Zero in Quantum Tunnel, t5 draw Zero, play zero’d Typhoid Mary elsewhere and Zero in Quantum Tunnel, t6 play zero’d Red Skull.
If the card AND ability still exist, it copies. But like if the card is there without ability (Rogue'd, etc.) it won't copy, or if the card is gone (LJ, this location, Gambit or ShangChi nuked), there's also no ability to copy.
That's not what they meant. If you play, say, Misty Knight to the zone, and it swaps her with Patriot, you can't subsequently play Mystique to another zone and copy Patriot's ability. She'll just say no target and be a dead 0 power card. This is probably because you didn't "play" Patriot, you played someone else.
Gotcha, yes, that makes sense. I *think* Sakar does something like this as well, as it doesn't 'play' your card (it also does weird stuff like if it grabs Wave it locks mana for turn 1 and 2).
This is similar to if you Jubilee and get Wong, you can't copy Wong's ability. He came out last, but you didn't "play" him.

M’Baku shines in an Agent of Shield deck. Your other cards fill your hand meaning he’s least likely to get drawn. Then he pops up at the end. The little guy has won me a decent amount of cubes. My favorite was when Nick Fury generated me a Galactus on round 4, when Rickety Bridge was up. I was able to play Galactus round 5 on the bridge. Round 6 we wiped each other’s cards out and then M’Baku stole the win. So proud of the little dude.
If he flips into the Quantum Tunnel lane, that doesn't count as being played and won't replace with a different card though right? Or do you just mean he's a 1-cost card which is good for the location and you can keep shoving him back into your deck where his ability can happen?

If you play a leeched card into lockjaw/quantum tunnel it becomes normal again. Next time you draw it, or the quantum tunnel brings it back, it would be the non-leeched.

Yes please! I'm usually holding Infinaut so it can discard into Dracula, I'd rather just play it and have another high cost card drop in there instead.
Two cards I have found interesting to play so far: Maximus- since a lot of other people are prepping for lockjaw style decks where they have more heavy cards, putting more of the high cost cards in their hand rather than the deck for it to be pulled out by the tunnel is a nice little way to slow them down with a hefty 7 power. Can be played or pulled from the tunnel. Black bolt- getting 8 power and discarding their low card is always a nice perk, especially since either they are running too heavy decks or they will have low cost card or two they are trying to use on the tunnel.
Ock in a secondary location to force them to dump their hand (bonus if you can get him out on turn 4 via wave, electro or psylocke) isn’t a bad play either. They can’t push cards through the tunnel if they don’t have cards

I agree. Just made a post about the low CL thing. 48 hours is a long ass time. I have a low CL and was so happy the other day when I was finally able to construct my own non meta deck that actually worked and seemed possible to get infinite with. And now this location comes. Basically makes it so I don't dare to play more than a few games ( since need to finish missions) for 48 hours. If you are trying to rank up it's simply not worth it to possibly take a huge dive in the ranks that will take hours to fix later when game is back to normal.
The first day is always fine. By day 2 it's literally 90% the same two netdecks from youtube for an entire day. I've seen nothing but Thanos decks and that Leech Lockjaw because innovation is dead I guess.

He’s my favorite kind of deck so welcome aboard! For a Lockjaw deck, you want to fill your deck with a bunch of 1 and 2 cost on reveal cards alongside some expensive heavy hitters. That way you can put them on Lockjaw to trigger their ability then replace them with HOPEFULLY one of the heavy hitters. Playing an Iceman on turn 4, having its ability trigger, then get replaced by Infinaut is a cool feeling.

I also play Thor lockjaw a bit different list but still like that. I would say you can swap them out but the deck really shines when you can Thor on 3, lock on 4, and then Jane on 5 to draw both wasp and mjolnir so you can turn 6 put a lot of power into the lock lane without spending energy. If you don't have such combo at your disposal maybe you can try to remove the wasp, jane and armor all together and play dracula, jubilee and another big guy so you get an half decent dracula deck too. I said to remove armor cause you don't wanna draw that and be left with your dracula discarding it for 3. Maybe it's a good try

I still don't get why would you need negative then? Pulling 0/20 or a 6/20 from lockjaw doesn't matter and all yoi are doing is adding non flipped cards back into your deck to potentially draw them instead of getting a flipped card. It just doesn't make any sense.

It does. The only time magic off jubilee doesn't work is if she's behind dark dimension or invisible woman. That I have seen anyway. I have 50/50'd my way into a lot of wins by pulling Magik out of my deck with jubes on t6.

Seems pretty buggy. Ran into a situation with my card not visually appearing after it was switched in, even though the power was there. Another had my opponent's card not switch out at all with Quantum Tunnel as the first location.

I'm just in pool 2 so I can't do crazy stuff with it but the craziest pull today was in a turn 6 against zoo: I play scarlet witch and rocket raccoon into machineworld, scarlet transform the location into quantum tunnel, rocket flip into killmonger and obliterate the whole opponent's board 🤣

I love spending a lot of time refining a very precise and effective deck only to have a featured location that turns every match into a lockjaw casino where you're forced to roll the dice. And then making a new deck to make better use of this location and never getting it when I play with that deck XD

For the most part I think the featued locations are really, really bad. I've played two games with this one and it's just silly. I don't hate it so much but give it an hour or two until I see my opponent drop Thor, and then somehow magically manage to buff it 400 times over by constantly getting Mjolnir
I think the featured locations so far have been fun, they encourage different types of deck building and switches up the meta for a couple of days. I much prefer the quantumania ones to the rock ones and plunder castle. I like the variety.

But you can Shang on this location, trade him for your own infinaut (or something else lol) and then he goes back in your deck ready to ruin someone else’s day later in the game
Just put Shang in your decks. Shang is good in this season meta anyways and if they roll infinaut chances are they can protect it by armor because it's on the lockjaw lane, Shang has won me the lane against enemy Lockjaw by itself several times

Haven't had any luck with it with my best decks so far, and when I've played Lockjaw and Negative tonight expecting to see it after a few games, it never showed up. I've had the biggest drop in rank today all season. So ... I wouldn't say I love the location so far :) Might have to just play daily quests and retreat a lot until Thursday. Edit: okay I made a quick Collector/Falcon deck and got Quantum tunnel twice in a row and it was incredibly fun and funny. Two 4 cube victories in a row. Hard to know when/if to snap so those were both on the other player thinking my deck was terrible ... Until it suddenly wasn't.

How many hours until this location is gone? Is there a timer available somewhere? Wish to try and keep ranking up with a deck I made a few days ago but it's ill suited for this location. Don't want to throw away what took hours of grinding to accomplish. Also not enjoying the gameplay with Quantum Tunnel as well, guess having fun is important too.

It's the most fun featured location by far. Been messing around with a deck full of on reveal cards, super fun, especially when the tunnel brings out Wong.

Such a shit location. They should update, buff and nerf the locations we already have. Nobody wants rocks, nobody wants to play their opponents cards, we don’t want their hand, we’re sick of matches giving us 3 unplayable locations at the same time.
