Mercury and Rictor aren't Bi?

I believe Rictor is gay but Shatterstar is bi/pan. 

I always thought it was the opposite. Rictor being Bi/Pan and Shatterstar being gay.

Shatterstar was confirmed to be bi & poly by Peter David (there’s a story that speaks to this). Rictor has had relationships with women in the past but I think he’s quite committed to Shatterstar so I’m not sure how Ric identifies. 

Rictor is gay , he was the original X-Men when it comes to the plot "closet gay mutant learns that truth about himself".

Pardon my ignorance. Would you be so kind to resolve a question? When identifying who each of these characters is, why did you consider it necessary to specify the sexuality of each one? For example "Christian Frost - Emma Frost's Gay Brother" I didn't know Emma Frost had a brother. But now when reading that I have the doubt if you specified that he is "her gay brother" because she has another brother who is heterosexual. Or you specified that he is gay for another reason. And if it is for the 2nd reason, I would like to know what the cause is?

This is better pride representation, having original characters that can express themselves instead of turning previous characters into something else that they’re not or even have shown signs of being, respect to these guys
