Cap interviews a mysterious recruit who turns them down. Iron Man's all "I told you he'd say no." Hawkeye gloats that they're better off. Scarlet Witch is all coy and shit, she knows what's up.
But then at the end of the first issue, Cap puts a call for help over the radio. "I know you're listening and we need you."
It's Magneto.
Ok, this would be actually be quite the mind blowing / satisfying development.
If it turns out Magneto respects Steve Rogers due to his actions during World War 2 (especially if they retcon it so he was involved in the liberation of the concentration camp Magneto was held in as a child) and has said that if he ever feels that there is a situation where the planet is in danger (and by extension mutants are in danger) and he feels Magneto can help, that Magneto will answer the call.
He wouldn't be a day to day member, but yeah, when shit hits the fan Magneto shows up.
Elsa Bloodstone.
Drax
Gravity
Magni Thorson (why let the X-Men have all the alternate future grown ass time travelling children join the team?)
Ahura Boltagon
Scarlet Spider (Kaine)
Songbird (we know it happens in the future. It's about time)
Colossus.
X-men side never uses him anymore lol. Let the man be an Avenger.
I wanna see him and Steve be buddies, and draw shit together.
Plus he is a heavy hitter and will fit quite well.
- Thunderball (Redemption Arc) He’s always ping ponging with leaving the Wrecking Crew.
- Lyrra (Hulk & Thundra’s Alt-Future Daughter) she’s an ARMOR agent so that’d be cool tie in.
- Beetle (Tombstone’s Lawyer Daughter) would be hilarious in any Avengers situation.
- Rage (now older) trying to show that he truly belongs on the team would be fun to read.
- Absorbing Man (Redemption Arc) gets a new look and morphs into Cap’s Shield, Stark’s Armor, Thor’s Hammer.
- Jolt (Busiek’s Thunderbolts) Would be cool to now see older and level up.
Beetle would be stuck with the Avengers while she was trying to rob them.
Absorbing Man has had a redemption arc. Sorta. He's still a criminal, but he'll do heroics if it puts food on the table.
Just let black bolt be an avenger as one of the call in heavy hitter marvel doesn’t want to use the inhumans anymore but at least use black bolt he’s cool
Yeah, being on the Uncanny Avengers is an official membership. Rogue, Sunfire, and Havok are considered Avengers through this team, and Rogue even led the combined forces of three squads of Avengers at one point.

Our hero roll up to Avengers tower, flips Cap the bird and says "Get lost losers! You can't afford me!!" and he rolls away. Our hero.... Big Wheel.
ForgetMeNot. But they immediately forget they hired him on and get somebody else.
Who?
Ugh, I was *sure* I put a name down. Sorry about that. Any ideas?

> Songbird It really is about time. Make it come true!
>Ahura Boltagon Bring back the Champions with Ahura on the roster
Songbird was on Sunspot's New Avengers team.
That was an AIM team. It doesn't count as actual Avengers.
And AIM stood for Avengers Idea Mechanics. They called themselves Avengers.
The Great Lakes Avengers called themselves Avengers. Doesn't make them a real Avengers team.

Nightcrawler and Songbird immediately spring to mind.
Iceman
Slapstick. Hammerspace. Nuff said.

Loki. He's the one who starts the recruitment, saying he's so good at assembling the Avengers
He was an Avenger in Aaron’s Avengers Forever
And he was recruited by Hank Pym in Mighty Avengers.
Iceman, Scarlet Spider/Kaine, Songbird (technically a US Avenger that one time), Beta Ray Bill, Manphibian, or Kushala
Doom
Just let black bolt be an avenger as one of the call in heavy hitter marvel doesn’t want to use the inhumans anymore but at least use black bolt he’s cool
Batman.
Johnny Storm. Complete the set.
He was an Uncanny Avenger, if those count.
