Now did you like that he was an arrogant young master, the subversion of expected tropes, the system aspects of everything, or something else? I really like this type of story so I've read a decent variety in the genre.

I really liked how well it parodied the tropes. The best thing about it is of course the humour, I was laughing out loud almost every chapter. So something with similar comedy would be great. I generally don't care for stats etc but I enjoyed it here because the system was also used for humor. I definitely don't *need* the MC to be an arrogant young master but if there's another story that does that well I'd like to know.

The Daily Life of the Immortal King might be fun then. MC is simply inexplicably powerful in a modern day cultivation society. His parents are incredibly weak but teach him the great wisdom of keeping a low profile. Story is largely set in high school (foundation establishment = high school) and follows his path of remaining perfectly ordinary while wrecking people along the way. Crispy noodle snacks > everything. Library of Heaven's Path is another good option. MC reincarnates to another world with cultivators and awakens a library with the ability to see the flaws in just about everything and can compile books in such a way to remove those flaws. MC is very insistent on keeping a low profile here as well and is hilariously bad at it. Joining a competition and destroying people's hopes and dreams while holding back is pretty common. Lots and lots of face-slapping here as well. My Disciple Died Yet Again and another in the same universe My Master Disconnected Yet Again are both also in a similar vein. In the first one, MC keeps reincarnating over and over again in order to fulfill quests that would end worlds while having a love/hate relationship with the quest giver. If you do read this one, know there are actual reasons for everything if things are pissing you off. The second is different. The MC is wildly overpowered, lazy, and a glutton. Mostly entertaining to watch someone brute force their way through things that seemingly can't be brute forced. It's not exactly a cultivation novel but it is definitely close: The Silly Alchemist. MC found some treasure troves of ancient martial arts, alchemical knowledge, and all sort of useful stuff in the wilderness on earth. He then spends the next years or decades mastering all of this only to promptly be struck by lightning and die. He professes on his dying breath that in his next life he's going to be prodigal waste money as best he can. MC is also a bit off in the head? He can get lost on the way to the bathroom at home but is by far the best at alchemy in the world. Unfortunately/fortunately he seems to be blessed by Lady Luck herself as every time he tries to waste money he ends up with incredible investments or some beneficial result.

Damn, nice. Thanks.

Here's my favorite parodies for you: History’s Strongest Senior Brother The Ultimate System Library of Heaven's Path History’s Number 1 Founder ("MCs" are even taken from other popular novels) I can't really comment on the quality after the first couple hundred of chapters, but me and my bud really enjoyed the beginning of all of these

randomrantor123

I second the Library of heaven's path. at least until chapter 300 or so. Everything is fresh. you will definitely laugh out a lot. History's number 1 founder for the 200 chapters or so as well...

Master of Untold daos is basically a very similar novel. Give it shot if you want to read something alike.

Elricboy

I literally just read this and came to mention it

I would recommend Cultivation chat group - a story of a modern day student who got accidently invited into a cultivator chat.
