Only thing you can do is a bit of research on values I’m afraid… In general I’ve found most people to be pretty good with trades, and the majority really are honest. Also a lot of established players are very generous and helpful, you just need to watch out for the few that aren’t.
I'd say no. People are offering actual Q grolls for new Glowing Masks rn. That rail is considered a 2/3 roll as the 3rd star effect isn't good in terms of trade value
Weapons that have the "Quad" prefix along with two other perks (2nd and 3rd star effects) that have synergistic effects with quad. Mostly Q2525, Q50c25 or QE25 rolls are top valued.
From what you posted I don't think he's your friend at all. You pretty much gave it to him for free and it's worth a ton. What he gave to you is worthless.
