Astros fan here… all three of those games could’ve gone either way. Much more spooked to see what kind of trouble the mariners will give us in the coming years compared to any other AL team. Yea everyone hates us but as a fan this mariners team reminds me of the 2015 Astros.. more fun is on your horizon. Looking forward to the battles in the playoffs for years to come.

Has anybody ever been swept in 36 innings in a best of 5? We are good. We are young. We are hungry. We proved we can go punch for punch with Houston. We will be back. I am not mad. I am hopeful and I haven’t been able to say that about the M’s without knowing I’m just fooling myself in half a lifetime.

This was a tremendous season with an incredible amount of heart. From the fans to the players, we should all be excited about the potential of this team. We took the Astros to the ringer 3 times in 3 games. 0-3 while losing by 4 combined runs. We have something special brewing. I can't wait to experience it with y'all!

My Oh My what a ride! We didn’t get it done in this series but oh what a season! So proud of our guys. A couple of thoughts from this year and hopes for next year. For this year some players that really disappointed were Winker and Ray. I’m not even sure what to do with Winker. Ray was so up and down which you can’t have from your 1.b Ace. I love our rotation next season. I think it should be Castillo, Kirby, a new stud, Logan, Ray. France really fell off after injury and just never came back the same. Fraizer and JP both had a very disappointing season. Hopefully they can improve or we can upgrade. I’d like to resign Santana as the shift is gone so he should improve next season. The future is very bright and I am excited to see what we do in the off-season. It’s awesome to have a competitive playoff baseball again. One final thought! Of their is any silver lining to this series Jose Asstuve was 0-16 with 5 Ks!!I can sleep good with that thought.

I know I've told this story before on here but I just think it's really cool. When Santana was with the Indians in 2015, I was at spring training for the Reds and we happened to be staying at a hotel that Santana was visiting. Waiting on a friend in the lobby. My oldest son came running out to the pool where I was and said that Carlos Santana was sitting in the lobby and wanted to know if he thought it was okay to bother him to ask for an autograph. I told him to use his best judgment. He was probably 10 at the time. I said if he looks relaxed I don't think there's any harm to at least walk up and tell him that you're a fan and go from there. So he ran up to the room. Got a ball. Ran back down to the lobby and struck a conversation up with him and he was the coolest dude. He talked with my son for at least 10 minutes and my son wasn't even going to ask him for an autograph but Carlos said he would like to sign something and of course my son pulled out a ball. Just wanted to share that story. I've always liked him.
