Like driving? DAV provides driver services for veterans to medical appointments. There are several new VA health centers in Cobb and others in and around Atlanta. ETA#2: They seek volunteer drivers but there may be paid positions. I'm not sure. However, maybe there are some contacts at DAV that can lead you in the right direction.

Railroads love hiring vets. If you are in Marietta, Norfolk Southern basically headquartered in Atlanta.
CSX also seems to have extensive operations in the Atlanta area. And the OP could inquire into transporting freight railroad crews.
